Do you guys not think delaying demo 2 for the pc has something to do with the fact people exploited the first demo with extra team patches. If demo 2 is closer to the final game they may see it as a threat to pc game sales.

I don't think so because unless you're happy playing offline friendlies only, you need to buy the game to access the full range of modes.

Or at least what's left of them.

Nah Wikipedia isn't a source to go by. It even had the Libyan league fully licensed :LOL:

Also I don't think Konami can have an unlicensed Bundesliga. It's been like this since PES6. They're not allowed because EA has the exclusive.

Yea manager mode was just you managing and watching. Played it a few times but couldn't get myself to continue. I want to be part of the action.

Manager mode? If you mean Club Boss, then that appears to have been removed, but I think that was a good decision :P

The Metro a free paper in London gave PES13 4/5 and said its back fighting along side FIFA

like lami and some others posted already: give a sh** of reviews.
I play and judge gmaes by myself ;)

I know, it's generally a good site for reviewing games but they're usually harsh on PES because EA does a lot of advertisement through their site

Reviews are half rubbish and just another persons opinion and in most cases these guys have been wined and dined to butter them up. I mean a trip to brazil this year? Bloody hell I'll give you 9/10 for just that alone.

In any event who can forget the IGN ad smack bang in the middle of the half time screen on the infamous PES2008

People are quite right to point out that reviews are not important anymore *harks back to the days of C64 and C+VG magazines* but doesn't PES usually score quite badly, generally?

Thus, in relative terms, this is all very encouraging.

After a good few prolonged sessions on the demo, I must say, this game is absolutely beautiful.

I'm loving the way Konami build upon their philosophies with every passing year. They replicate technique in so many different ways, but then place more emphasis on every facet of those respective areas. R2 grows every year with it's relevance, I love it. Thursday can't come soon enough.

KONAMI are idiots!!! I pre-ordered the game for 20 of September and they didn't release the second demo on PC...

Now i don't know if the PES 2013 is good and i don't know if i should cancel the pre-order!!!Today is the last day for cancel the pre-order!!!

I can only say, if people don't get PES this year, even with all the shit surrounding boots and such, they'll be missing out on the best representation of football both team-wise, and individually, since footy games began. For me, this year's game is THAT good.

PS - IF - the retail version is the same as demo 2....and you can NEVER count on Konami not to mess things up at the final hurdle.

I'm wondering if the rumours about the settings in the ML are true?

Some people say that before starting a Football Life/Master League, you can turn Transfers and Player Development off. So that would make the ML "stop in time", essentially reverting it back to the League Mode as we know it?

Anyone who's got the game already can confirm this?

Mate i downloaded the FIFA 13 demo..The demo is very good but i think PES is better for 1 vs 1 and for games with friends...

If PES 2013 final game is the same with PES 2012 why i should buy it?

I don't want to buy and play 2 football games...I will buy FM 2013, NBA 2K13, FIFA or PES...

Not sure how these reviewers can come up with an educated score so quickly after very little play time. I can't really give a football game an objective score until I've played it for a few months.

But that's not new mate. That's been in PES forever. You always had the choice to have no transfers and no development. I don't know why people are talking about it like it's something new?

Also I wonder more how people never noticed it before? :CONFUSE:

I don't think they consider it too deeply. They'll see what the community consensus is this year in regards to FIFA, quickly assess whether its an improvement on PES 12, then give an arbitrary score in respect to that.

PES 08 and 09 both scored higher then 11 and 12 from what I recall, so that just indicates how completely irrelevant they are.

Interesting. I never noticed it before, as I've always set up a ML with both options ON without giving it much thought.

I'm only bringing this up because of all the fuss about Konami removing League Mode. Well, if you want to play a League mode like before, just turn on a ML without these options?

Then remains to be seen how much of a nuisance would be to have the Boots, Training, Secretary and Players talking rubbish to you... this is all the superficial crap that wouldn't make sense to someone wanting to play a simple League Mode, I guess.

Konami wants people to think that they just incorporated league mode in master league, but it's simply a lie.

I'm not sure it's Konami though. It's come out from their facebook account and we don't know who's in charge. Also, he might've interpreted the question wrongly and gave a random reply that we can do that in ML. But that is not what we are asking for.

In any case, it's been dealt with poorly by the PES department.
