I absolutely agree with you.

Master League is nice as additional mode to play as coach, general manager or president, too.

But I prefere to play just a season without these extra options.

Is that something (adding league mode as DLC)that they could do if enough people complain about how disappointing that is?

Also I really want the pick 4 teams and get a random squad of players from those teams back for quick exhibitions.

I don't get it... if you just disable player development / transfers isn't master league the exact same thing ? With the added bonus that you can play more that one year, with div 2...

Or you can't disable the magic boots crap ? Is that the problem ?

I dont know, people just want to be able to do a league mode, were it has CL or europa league and cup games built into it.

maybe u can turn on and off transfers, development, international competitions, 2nd leagues in, budgets ML

Just preordered!

1 day without PES info and I just ordered. Not thinking about boots, leagues and stuff, having just the gameplay that suited me so well in demo2 in my mind... felt almost like a release!

Really looking forward to put it in my ps3!!

Well but you can't choose more then one team and I just want to play a season without the whole ml extra stuff and I don't think that you can choose more then one team and you also have to do coaching and generel manager stuff like training and other stuff.
 
Well .....played each demo (FIFA & Pes) for can hour each tonight and after a while It became obvious that I'll be keeping my pes13 pre-order.
Not gonna slag FIFA but I just can't enjoy it after about 5 games.
With boot gate I must be mad but it matter most on the pitch.

Hopefully shopto will send this out Wednesday. I'm off Friday which is a touch!!

The pressure slider drags midfielders out of position and towards players, and if they are gifted ones they will simply pass through the midfield.

I really believe also that this years PES relies a lot more on the player (ie the human) having the 'overall picture' in their minds eye as moves are taking shape. It is crucial on Superstar to be able to pick up runs and dummy runs, and to shift players across to and fro. The use of player switching (to the CPU sometimes) to contain danger is also a biggy I think. In my experience, you need your team to play as a unit much more realistically this year, this forces the CPU into possession football and exploring different avenues than just the plough down the middle philosophy.

I'm afraid though it's very much like last year and for me, there's no way I can play 4/5 games on the bounce with the timer back to 15 minutes, it relies too heavily on utmost concentration. I believe I will be best suited to play 1/2 games at a time. My results went from very good at the start of last nights session to bloody awful when I got tired. I think it's a punisher again this year lads!

Yup, that's pretty much it! Well stated! And i esssspecially i agree with bold.

Teamwork and defending as a unit is much more in our hands which results in a lot better understanding and appreciation of how the game is played.

Do you also play around with defensive/offensive tactic? You know the little colory things in the bottom corner (activate via up/down + r2.. depends on your button config)
It basically pushes your team forward or backwards but this is all linked to your tactics. So if you play a high defensive line with lets say 14, but you put it on green (defence) ingame, the players will drop backwards... adds even more depth and nuance!

I thought the player ID thing was just another gimmick but it really does show on the pitch.

Yes, but people MUST post about it where THEY can see it. Theres no point posting it where they are not as it will do NOTHING.

Been fighting the urge to play the demo and luckily I have sleeping dogs to help me beat that urge.

I want that newness to hit me so I have played very little of demo the last 2 weeks.
I wonder why the hell konami haven't released demo 2 on PC yet launch is 4 days away and nothing happening yet.
The question also begs -what they gonna do next year? Not release the demo entirely?!
