But I agree, I'm hoping there is a point where both sides come to work together rather than screw each other over. It will never happen but one can hope.

You have to admit that the race for licenses has been a one sided affair so this is a little victory for PES fans, no matter how petty that may sound.

I assumed it was down to PES's recent licensing acquisitions around La Liga teams and stadiums, but true it may be more straightforward than that. But PES has its own exclusives like the Champions League license etc. Which must be annoying for them if you consider how much better the career mode would be in FIFA if it had a fully authentic Champions League.

I don't think the two sides will ever come to work together, but there is reason to believe that legal action could be taken against EA's monopolisation of licensing, however I can't see how such a case could be brought against them when Konami themselves are profiting from exclusive licenses.

Just dropped in for the first time in a few days and it's nice to see the old trope of 'Konami as the little guy getting one over big, nasty EA' making a reappearance. Hurrah! (On a serious aside, do those of you who subscribe to the notion of Konami as the little guy really see that multi-million-dollar Japanese giant as some kind of plucky underdog? If so, how and why?)

How long has it been since Football Kingdom got a mention?!

Actually this demo2 floaty thing is making my nightmares...
I really hope they step back a bit to demo1 settings for retail version and don't waste the opportunity to deliver a great game

Wait.. I was asking avok23 about this system in PES3. Your answer is the system in PES 2013, isn't it ? a bit confused here unless you mean this system was also there in PES 3 :BLUSH:

Anyway. it's good if some also finds the new added 1-2 system in PES 2013 is a potential stuff. :))

There seems to be an additional bug:

- When I make a pass, sometimes the ball rolls alongside the CPU's defenders and they let the ball roll through until it reaches its recipient. The defenders choose to hunt down the potential recipient instead of choosing the way easier solution of simply taking the ball that is rolling slowly near their feet.

- The other strange thing is that when I run with the ball, an opponent tracks me but then on a specific level in the field he stops and gets away and let's another opponent track me. As if the pitch is organized in very strict zones. But the giving over is not gapless, the other player can be 10m or more away and yet the other one leaves me. Felt really strange.

Such a shame, when we had a great PK system in 2011 which was more user controlled. Now with this arcadey nonsense, you might hit the post if you try too hard to miss it.

As for the new ML, that Sneak Peak video shows we can choose a "region" for our Master League, meaning we can have ML with South American teams, linked with the licensed Libertadores :)

I just hope the transfers for the South American teams aren't too over the top. I wouldn't want to see Ronaldo at Boca, Messi at Corinthians, and so on...

Bootgate aside, this all looks very good. I'd be very tempted to play an European and a South American ML :D

You did it wrong mate. Stick left or right means up or down. Up and down means left and right. It's like when u play a match! Try it or look for a tutorial video on YouTube. Trust me. It works like last year!

Not the best system but it works.

Spot on. Notices that annoying stupid behavior too! Konami need to fix that. And there are more small things like that...

It doesn't make sense, because the camera angle is facing the goal. Just like PES 2012. So I thought it's the same as 2012?

What you described fits best on the PES 2011 system, when the camera remained the same as normal in-game/pitch side. For me that was the best system.

I guess we will have definite answers about 2013 PK system when the retail is out and we have full on practice mode. But the 2012 system I didn't like one bit.

Yeah I mean 2013 I don't live in the past :LOL:

One thing though no other football game had such a wow when you booted it up. The jump from 2-3 was unbelievable.

Konami is hardly a litle company Zeemeister.
I like to think i have some sense of humour, but i can't see the humour in gloating about the fact FIFA doesn't have Nou Camp. And if this is a victory for PES (which it isn't), it's a meaningless.

I don't think EA are the losers in all this. I know who the losers are: the gamers who like to play both games. But anyway let's agree to disagree.

DB and Prof: i also played the demo most with Bilbao.

That's for sure.

PES fans are accustomed to being the losers though. It's just interesting to see EA not getting everything their own way. Gives me hope that Konami are trying to compete.

Right. It is nonsense. They should at least switch it when the cam moves behind the player taking the kick. Fully agree to you.
Had 2 penalty in demo 2 and it worked like I said: with twisted/switched directions! Annoying sometimes but I got used to it and hit the goal!

The first time I totally forgot about switched sides so I hit the keeper who stayed put centered! My mate I was playing against was cool with it! ;)

What's up with the stutter on xbox360? Have it regularly and after the stutter the game forgets the button I pressed before it as if it resets something...

Love demo #2! Haven't bought PES since winning eleven 9 on the original xbox!

Does anyone know if PES 2013 online allows for some sort of 2 vs 2 match? In Fifa, there are 2v2 lobbies which allow for these types of matches, and I was just wondering whether PES has anything similar....thanks.

Played three games of the FIFA 13 demo at a mates, in my honest view I believe PES 2013 from a gameplay standpoint is a better game, enjoying demo 2 far more than EAs efforts

There is some truth to that. PES doesn't need to feel ashamed gameplay wise.

The thing which is badly made on PES is Master League :/.

Forget that, I'm an idiot. Its dated 29/08 so they must have renamed "demo2" as "final demo".
