That's brilliant. The patchers are doing a very good job I'm sure. But as someone who won't be able to use that for myself I get just a tiny bit annoyed when people say "that will be fixed with a patch" because not everyone has that possibility.

I'm not that bothered though, have been happy enough with the last PES games to doubt I'd even want a gameplay patch. But it's great that there are people out there working hard to help those that do want one.

yeah it was awesome but have you noticed that every single player was running constantly lol, they was either standing still or running, nothing in between.

You have to remember something. Back in PS2 era PES/WE was a good balance btw sim and arcade. They were perfectly blended that gave you tons of fun but even with added arcade PES/WE still had realism that todays football games lack.

Today, KONAMI and EA are focusing too much on REALISM and this realism kills the gameplay at the end of the day.

What we have today:

Better Graphics
More Animations
Tons of other REALISTIC tricks and tweaks but the price was needed to be paid for this and that was losing GAMEPLAY that made PES/WE what it was known back in the day.

New PES generation will find these older games WEIRD but older, veteran PES/WE players know one thing.

PES5/6/WEL9E and J-League titles were the best football games Konami ever produced. I know its time to move on, but why move on at all when your not getting a product that should be way better than the older ones.

Yeah tbh I would love that game with todays graffics, loved the ps2 pro evo games

Demo 1 it is for me. Kept going back and forth between both demos and Demo 1 certainly has more balance to it. CPU is more human and error prone on Professional difficulty. On Demo 2 they're quicker. I also prefer shooting from Demo 1 as well. The trajectories in Demo 2 are somewhat weird at times, reminds me of 2012, especially that drive shot ball dipping downwards after hitting as the ball is dropping. In Demo 2 it has a strong dip to it and sometimes don't make sense happening when striking right after the ball bounces. The ball should fly upwards and not dip heavily like that. I don't see that happening in Demo 1 though which I like.

What I do like in Demo 2 though is clearing the ball wherever you want, and not just going automatically towards the centre like demo 1. Add this to demo 1 gameplay for retail and I'm sold.

Is WE 9 has similiar ball physic as PES 6 ? if yes.. i think i like 2013 better :)) To be honest, last month i install my PES 6 again play a games then uninstall instantly.. :P

WE9LE is miles better than PES6.

But I kind of understand why people play this newer stuff. As with anything everything ages. I'm nearing 30's myself and I know a lot of PES vets who dont play anymore. Back in the day even on EvoWEB there was tons of vets and it was just different back then. I remember PESInsight and it brings special memories.

PES aged and so did its veteran players.

Its hard to find a veteran who thinks this next gen crap is better than what we had before.

The initial demo is better than demo 2 and most likely the retail version? What a surprise, this has certainly has never happened before...

What the hell do they do over there?

That's just my opinion though not fact. Probably many would disagree with me anyway but that's how I see it.

Pes Demos are always better than the full game cos the new feeling wears off. By the time the full game is out we have played the demo for 2 months and are already bored.

I feel demo 2 is more refined
- manual passing is less irratable
- shooting has been toned down
- animations a lot more polished and more added
- CPU AI is more varied team to team but still too fast like demo1 I hope this has to do with the 5 min game time

Can't believe we just over 2 weeks till release

Agreed 100%, i would add that there is too much AI pressure in demo 2.
obviously it's a matter of personal taste...
For me the best AI sometimes MUST make mistakes, not be always perfect.
I fear, however, that the final version will look like demo 2.

In this time i don't see nothing special on this video. Pes 2013 looks more sim game than this one.

Played a bit of my PES6 PC patched last week, like this version, if they just slowed the gameplay down compared to the newer titles, it would be more or less the finished article.

So much more individuality, team tactics etc on the older PES'. For example I played Bayern as Liverpool and the game forces you to respect their pace all round the park. For the first time in ages I had to stop the game and completely re-shape my team and play a counter game from a deep defensive line myself, this is something that I just ignore these days.

The variation in pitches, textures, stadiums, animations...I could go on. But yes, unfortunately, we have to move with the times.

I kind of agree to an extent. Modern PES has failed to capture the fun and magic of PS2 era PES. I don't get the same feeling playing the game these days. The character and individuality on the pitch was superior to what we have now.

Having said that, PES2013 is an excellent football game and one I can see myself spending a lot of time with, something that hasn't happened since PES6.

Not with 2013 Demo 1 for me though. The more I play the more I'm hooked and want more. In fact I really can't wait for retail version to embark on a marvellous year long journey.

WE9LE is heavily modified PES5 game made for Korean market.

That game is probably the most polished PES game ever made.

The only thing now that kills it for me is lack of mods/patches for it and lacking some of new gameplay improvements from newer PES games.

It's still good to play occasionally tho :D.

I have some doubts about PES 2013. They may change some stuff for full game again. Like they did last year.

Btw WHERE IS OUR PC SECOND DEMO YOU BASTARDS?!?!?!

If I can't see whether 2nd demo is improvement over 1st demo, how can I make judgement to buy the game or not?

KONAMI you're f**king ridiculous! Thus I will pirate the game. Check it out. If it's worth money, I buy it. If not, delete it and never look at it again.

Whoever is responsible @KONAMI for marketing/demos should be fired.

I am this far from uploading a video of the CPU getting it wrong on shooting, passing and tackling in a 5 minute match. Its going to take an eon to upload as 1:30 highlights take me 45 minutes.

Seriously though top player I get lots of error by the CPU also madrid pressure more than Valencia

I know this for long time ;).

And I love the initiative, but still, put yourself in our shoes now. Would you buy the game based on demo#1? Knowing there is #2 lying on consoles with some slight changes?

I believe they still may change some stuff for full game... Which wouldn't surprise me, seeing what they did with PES 2011 and 2012 <lol>.

2 weeks to release date now... FIFA demo coming on Tue. Keep people occupied a bit... :D
