I know I've said it before, but I agree. It's not just placebo, I felt the same way for 2012 and now 2013. The game appears to be much smoother with the blur effect than without it. I also prefer blur from an aesthetic standpoint, as the contrast between the players and the pitch/stadium looks too artificial to me when it's disabled.

I don't know if that's the reasoning behind, I doubt it. But yeah, this also makes the game more pleasing to the eye.

if pes 2013 is 1% less scripted, 1% better in player switching and 1% better in the AI of your teammates in that they dont run away from the ball then it could be a very good game cus pes 2012 was dog sh!!te with the three basics above at times. snd any more than an hour playing it and i was bored.

The only situations normal throughball works is when the defender is very close to you and can't possibly intercept the throughball.

It's better to use manual passing as a replacement for the throughball.

Yes, this is very good advice. I will be using manual pass as through balls from now on.

You know what? ME TOO!

I play WITH blur enabled and then use FXAA TOOL + ENB Series to enhance the image sharpness and color.

Wait a sec! WTF there is are manual keepers in this game? WTF!?! why did they change the controls from ps2 days. Wow CPU will never score 1v1 again lol.

Tell me there is a move wall/remove wall button.
Is there away to tell Ramos and Pepe to stay in the centre of goal since they are centre backs ? Messi is often free.

Is there away to tell alonso and khedira to get back when they lose the ball? Is there away to tell Bezenma to get some separation from defenders and to chase down the passes i send to him?

Cos if there is this will be the best pes ever lol

maybe its related to the way u make manually off.-def balance during match, have u tested it?
lets say i make only 1 bar so its def. and some off. cards will be disabled, wud be a nice workaround or so, but i doubt konami is that smart

no i havent tested it to be fair

still would make so much more sense to just make it a tactical instruction rather than embedded in the player

The more i play this the more the AI through ball looks dodgey...The AI is way too accurate with the through ball on prof level..they just scored 5 all through balls down the middle from midfield..it isnt my defending as i dont even get chance to swap from midfield to defender before ball is played and the strikers clean through

Done with this engine.
Yesterday i tested playing Germany vs Italy on PES 2013, then the same match on PES 6 (Phoenix Patch) Summary of matches played:

PES 2013: 2
PES 6: 5 (until i went to bed)

Waiting without no big hope of radical changes for Retail version, if doesn't happens, betting all my chips on Fox Engine.

I am in a weird situation. I know the PC mods that extend the time have changed the gameplay (they all do) but i just keep seeing some really dumb things that i dont know if i should go back to patchless demo. Some times the game can be so good then it just gest soo bad. its as if CPU can see you are having fun then it turns on the cheats. Coentrao cannot catch Xavi in extra time even though he just came on. WTF?

Messi can shield the ball against Pepe bumping him off and sometimes winning headers just like Ozil can out jump John Terry (pre patched Demo).
Every one from Barca have great compusure and shooting accuracy. CPU almost never misses the target. Its eith goal, GK save or blocked shot WTF.


CPU hack body checks and obstructs my players all the time and the referee is often more reluctant to card them. One Game Pedro dived 2 yards in front of me and i got booked + penalty and it was in extra time.

It has nothing to do with the PC-mods, it's the game's inherent cheating that kicks in. But I wouldn't be bothered too much, if you will get the PC-version. nesa has already a patch ready that reduces the cheating considerably and does some other nifty things, he merely waits for the final version to give it that last touch and then releases it.

But for the console-versions it looks a bit dim for playing against the CPU, but who knows, maybe Konami changes something in that regard for demo2/final release.
