online is AMAZING, no lag whatsoever. The response time is like playing the CPU.

This is the first year i play MO. MLO and MO are different right? (besides being online)

-Engineered for freedom....not really. allot of frustration where I got behind because My goalkeeper decides to tackle instead of just grabbing the ball. Or defenders not shooting the ball away.

-why can't you be the goalkeeper online (L1 + R3) this frustrates me, cause i can't position my goalkeepers on free kicks and corners.

-Also there is this weird animation, when you run after a ball. Once it makes contact with the ball it moves it body 45 degrees for no reason to get behind the ball.

-What is the most easiest way to play a 2v2 game with random people. Fifa's way is much better. (btw I thought you could play 4vs4, haven't seen that. )

Also how do you delete your team in MLO. I chose Boca juniors and i am only playing Barca and real madrid people. Altough i won 2 out of 4 mathes it is still a pain in the ass, my average players are 50-60.

Why does it matter what team they are? They still start with the same players as you.
 
You're not going to get put against superstar teams though, even if some already have them.

Just had a really tight but satisfying victory in MLO. Noticed before the game he had Higuain so I was slightly worried but I knew I could still beat him because besides him, he had mainly default players bar Foggia and Barreto. Was a close contest with a couple of wasted chances from me in the first half but mid way through the second I brought on Djemsav, who was rested and replaced by Minanda, and he set up the winner. Through-ball to latest signing Bunjaku, and he did the rest, firing in off the post. Looks a good player in the 80's for both shot accuracy and technique. Cheapest I could find too.
 
I played another mlo and you are right, must have been this 1 time only.

what is the best option file availible?? does pesgaming have any good ones?
 
Scored two identical own goals now online. Low cross just got drilled in and Ruskin, instead of clearing in, tried to control on the edge of the box (!) and it hit him and trickled past Ivarov without him even acknowledging the fact that it was going to cross the line. Really annoying too happen to me twice already.

Actually getting bored of MLO pretty quick. It's just too hard to make money quickly to buy the players you want. I mean I don't crave for the likes of Messi or Ronaldo but I can hardly afford to get a couple high 70 players without having to play and win loads of matches.
 
I changed my MLO side's team switching slider from 10 to 5, and played much better :).

Danny Murphy gets much more of the ball staying in his attacking midfield role, with Phil Neville staying back and breaking up the attacks rather than Neville drifting into Murphy's role. It also makes Cahill's free roaming card stand out more.

I might even change this slider to 1, unless you have a bunch of great versatile players, a rigid formation and gameplan is probably the most effective!

Might have to look at that myself actually. My DMF tends to get caught up the field in the AMF's role quite a lot and it leaves me open on the counter attack.
 
I have it set to 0. The players I buy are suited to their specific position, so like you said it doesn't really help have your enforcer drift into your playmakers role.

Don't know why but I seem so much better at dribbling now then a couple days ago, it must be subliminal from stupid amounts of playing time but I can now jink past a few players no problem now.


One thing I like about this game is the need for a good ol' route one hoof now and then. In nearly ever other football game, the safest option is to control and pass it out of defence, but on this I absolutely hammer circle when the balls bouncing unpredictably about my defence. You can cause some real havoc as well just sending it long behind their defence.
 
I find the opposite about the dribbling - I was better at it a few days ago than I am now, in fact I was beating players for fun with Murphy when I first got him, now I find it very difficult! :(

I signed Matsui, he's a pretty good dribbler and has a load of player cards for tricks, not the best end product though so I may try to find someone else for my left wing, or just put up with Ximelez for a while and get some defenders in...
 
I was looking at getting Matsui but in the end I plumped for Holman. Done alright for me so far, scored a couple and has a couple assists too.

Do you earn/pay more money for playing in higher divisions?

I generally don't bother dribbling unless they have high agility and dribbling.

But yeah to begin with I was constantly playing one touch football as I knew as soon as I received the ball I'd lose it. I dno why but now I can make some time on the ball for myself, it's all about timing I think, little touches of the left stick at the critical moments. I like to get my winger to shape up to pass inside, only to cut back once the defenders committed himself.

Which reminds me is anyone using the feints? I gave them ago once and havn't touched them since. No one I've come up against seems to be using them much at all either.

Errrmmm. I just played some guy in the D5 cup (coach mode) and he had Rooney amongst a few other stars like Busquets and Luis Garcia. Anyway, they're considerably better than us. We draw 0-0 (4 in a row) and afterwards the points thing says I lose 6 and he gains like 3. How? Ridiculous system.

Getting frustrated with some minor things right now.

Absolute wankers!

Just tried to enter the 10pm competition. Paid the entrance fee then "lost connection to server". Got booted back to the main menu. So I've now paid the €142k it costs me to be in the competition but I'm not in it. Have to pay again to enter and I dont have enough. :(
 
how do u guys afford to buy loads of players in MLO already? i played over 20 games and only got around 1million to spend.

my record is pretty good too. 10 wins, 5 draws, 7 loses
 
Offload all the dead rubber Johnny. I got my squad down to about 17 players and I've brought in 3, Gattuso, Izco and Possanzini. I have about €140k left in my bank at the moment after that.

Regretting Passanzini though, he's played 3 games for me so far and is yet to score. He's yet to even make an impact on a game. I might have to sell him off and bring in someone else. Hmmmm
 
Just got through to the knockout phase of an online tourney for the first time :) No doubt I'll come up against a superteam and get bummed though!
 
Give him time. Bunjaku took ages to score for me as I worked out the best way to play him and in my last game he netted a hat-trick.

Definitely bored now. Can't sign anyone and can't win in the competitions.

YES!!!!

Everyone that is getting annoyed with the pressure whores online need to get together and harass John Murphy on Twitter and force Konami to patch it. It needs to be made like PES 5 where if you hold X and run into someone you dont come away with the ball, you knock them over and its a foul. Its ridiculous at the moment, I get my striker though on goal, defenders are behind but are catching, I turn his back to the approaching CB so he will not be able to get the ball but he just runs straight through the back of me and runs off with the ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:RANT::RANT::RANT:
