Another thing that must be addressed is the constant rushing of the players. There's no consideration needed when taking possession and still no first touch. This subtle R2 first touch is something of a myth, and all too subtle to make any difference to the game.

A proper first touch system is needed next year.

Why do people that suck at PES record their crappy videos?

If they toned down the fouls, then thats a big mistake. We didn't want LESS fouls... we just wanted LESS replays of the fouls that weren't red or yellow card.
Konami... seems like English to Japanese translation is somehow not working right..

Using dribbling with skilled players to intentionally win free kicks in dangerous areas, and then smacking them home would have been a good tactic to use against people who charge in all the time.

I think people might be getting far too worried about the reduced foul count. It's nowhere near as bad as some of you are making out, so relax :)

Using close control to win free kicks is still a tactic you can use, and one that I've been using in the full game as well :) The CPU does still make fouls, and the likeliness of a foul definately goes up when using CC.

Honestly, really no need to worry at all IMO.
 
Some bugs I encountered in the final game:

Referree whistled a penalty against me for a perfectly fair sidetackle that went for the ball.

Sometimes, not as often as in the demo, some of my players shied away from the ball.

Playerswitching is better but not like I want it... I want to select some of my teamplayers that are a bit more behind but it cycles only in a narrow number of my players that are near to the ball. Is there a trick to force the game to cycle through those that are further away from the ball?

Another bug has to do with the ball, somehow the game defines to whom the ball belongs... when for example the ball gets lost through some chaotic encounter or whatever the one who had the ball before has more right to the ball than the others... that means when my opponent surprisingly loses the ball I can't immediately pass the ball with one-touch or shoot nor cross, I first have to get control of the ball, then the game defines me as the new "owner"... sure that takes only a second or two but still some good opportunities get thwarted by that delay.

If upgrading mine and goalgerd's option file from last year works with stat upgrades its already done. I brought a lot of the players with bigs stats down to earth and raised all the small teams stats so each game was much more realistically balanced

Thanks, doing a little better now.

Guess I'm too used to the Fifa jostling system, timing the header is definitely more difficult in PES.

The odd thing is though, is that I can get my player to head the ball more often than not when it's my corner. It's when the CPU takes the corner, I hardly win it. Surely that can't be down to timing?

I dunno, maybe it's because when the CPU takes the corners it's because their aiming for the target man (as already suggested) whereas my corners are just ploughed into the box and fingers crossed :LOL:

Put some time in on the training ground with the Dags, they can be a dangerous weapon in the right hands. I don't remember ever having as much control and aftertouch on corners as we do this year. You can put them deep, add dip, bend, everything. You really can put them on a dime with practice. Also, make sure that you set your tallest defenders to go forward for set-pieces in the tactics screen. This makes a big difference.

I think that's the ref not the game :P

Oh and people are complaining a little too much about the low foul count; in the demo there was a way around this, by simply manually getting the ball without using the defend A/X button, it *never* resulted in a foul since the ref only blows the whistle when the player goes for the tackle. So I don't see it as a big loss.

They couldn't make something because KONAMI sells game with generetic clubs. Users edit everything. You see your edited kits online but your opponent not. This the same situation as offline mode. Good job KONAMI:BOP: Ea and licenses? He he he
 
Can someone please tell me what I will need edit wise to make Bristol Rovers & Bristol City. I want to do it as soon as I get the game for my ML but I have not done any editing since PES6 and I dont know about importing badges and stuff like that.

Is there a tutorial anywhere from PES10? I looked in the edit forum and just got confused.

Nope, 2vs2 max. Just played my first 5 online matches and they were HORRIBLE. Lagfest to the max and all 5 of my opponents chose Real Madrid.... I lost them all and it is fair to say that I lost 4 outta 5 simply due to lag. I am officialy well annoyed:RANT:

I am a bit confused by this, are you saying that there is no Champions League in the ML just Europa League?
PES10 had CL in the ML didnt it? This is a bit rubbish.
 
When the fixtures came out Chelsea were drawn in the Europa League, since I finished 5th and they finished above me I can only assume that, continuing my assult on the top four over the weekend though.

4th place has to qualify for the CL so maybe they just lost their qualifier? I hope so.

I wouldnt worry, I dont have the game yet, but there is no way on gods earth that CL isnt in ML, no way. It was there last year, and there is no reason for it not to be there this year.

Konami has released a patch; that one was for online, do you have that installed? ( version 1.01 )
 
I am really puzzled about Fremm's post. I have heard so much good news about ML online and now the release version is that bad? And 2 vs 2 is equally puzzling: Jon Murphy said it will be 4 vs 4.
That's why I wonder if that patch did nothing? From what I 've heard it was about online...
Have others the same experience as Fremm?
