I guess the race will be on to create the best option file.
Can't wait..

Just spoke to a guy at 'shopto' as i couldnt register to buy pro, due to problems with their site. People who have ordered already will have the game by thursday apparently.

Been playing the retail realse a few hours now, I was a bit wary at first, as im sure we all are when a new Pro Evo comes out as the smallest changes make a huge difference, well, I love it.

It has its flaws, its a bit fast, the animation i sometimes find a bit iffy, when players stop running with the ball and start again etc, and the crowd chants are awful - and i never bitch about stuff like chants, kits etc.

On the plus side, its miles apart from the other game in passing, shooting and fluidity.

The replays are much better now too, graphics look real good when you're zooming in and out of a replay.

It is a decent effort by konami, my main complain is that the pace and tempo are just not right, it is too linear and that makes it feel unreal. But from what i have seen the jap version seems to have a much better pace and tempo si i might just wait a bit longer and give that one a try.

PS2 demo version is really nice though.

Granted there will be a few option files milling about - but is there (or will there be) an Option File Editor for PES2009?

RGB screen appears always on loading screen when first team ( Home team ) is not licensed, as u can see home home team is Manchester City ( not licensed ) so theres RGB. If theres licensed team home f.e. Liverpool u get no RGB screen. So example : I play Austria vs Liverpool - RGB loading screen , Liverpool vs Austria - no RGB screen .Thats all, no big deal, when u play Champions league nothing like RGB screen happens cause that mode is fully licensed. I hope every child and person with IQ under 95 ( theres a lot of u here ) understands now. Last year PES 2008 had same issue, then I downloaded patches and it was gone .

We don't bother anymore, it's tilting at windmills. This thread will be closed in two days anyway, after that it's way easier to manage single threads compared to a huge one filled with freakin' everything like this.

my play.com pc pre-order status says posted. i hope it arrives tommorow or thursday.

Long live pro evo 2009. i have never complained on pro evo games. They are too good. If pro wasn't made we had to play fifa thank God that they made pro series. so what it has small bugs. Please don't fight here just enjoy the positive sides of the game. I am not even bother about online mode or be a legend as long gameplay is better that all counts. Peace.

I own a couple of forumz myself (muzik related) and i wouldnt stand for half the stuf that goez on here..

Once you get a reputation..

I wasnt havin a swipe at you personally.. but this forum is ALLOT more active than the 1s i run so..

Btw I red somewhere that Classic Portugal should be in game , well they are not , amount of classic teams is the same as last year :-)

It AMAZES me how a next gen game like PES 2009 doesnt have more domestic teams.. It would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOL if we could av a Championship, League 1 & League 2..

But i gotta say im lookin forward to this version..

looking forward to renting this when I get back, I´m finding the little ways FIFA does things to aid the AI getting on my nerves. I hope ittś a massive improvement on 08 given I`ll be back with the damn ML...

I dont know why they dont add some classic teams, its not necessery to winn senior title, f.e. Czechoslovakia won European Championship and was twice in the final of WC and is not in the game, they should add Classic Camerun, Nigeria, Hungary , Spain it would be cool to play with more classic. They are lazy.

I wish they'd have 'real' faces for the classic teams. I'd love to see a realistic Maradonna, Cantona, Gullit, Charlton, Eusabio etc on the game.

Are there licencing issues with this or is it just not worth spending time on?

If people are receiving it in the post early is it more likely that high street shops will give in and sell early too?
