forgot to mention the squads are all messed up, Robbie keane is at liverpool but Saha is still at utd, wtf

Well, played some matches on ps3 (after 9-10 on PC) and I feel better PS3 than PC. On the other hand PC has better graphics and it's more fluid IMO (I'm not able to realize how it can be possible but it is).

Definitely I'll choose PS3 version if you ask me.

After a total of around 15 matches over the 2 versions I enjoyed someway this game.

Most interesting addition the manual pass with left stick that I found useful, really.

Probably nothing special overall but at least I have an almost decent footy game to play this year.

Seabass apparently loves football games my guess is hes made so much money he doesn’t care anymore. He will probably be sitting in front of a Sixty inch HD TV playing Fifa09 tomorrow.

Well I've tried it quickly and I can sum it up like this.

It's like they made Pro Evo 3/4/5, a positive thing, a good game, and then ruined it with the animations and ball physics.

I hate the way they run, and pass the ball, the sidestep thing is utterly terrible, especially when the AI uses it, and the way the ball gets stuck in the grass is the worst way of slowing the game down I've ever seen.

So in effect, you can see the little bits of Pro Evo-ness, but they're smothered in a whole heap of shit.

I reckon this is a build from august (possibly just after leipzeg or the build the wenb guys played). Why?
Cos Robinho still at real, Saha at Man U and no Berba!!!

Overall, my opinion? Been playing Fifa 09 for last few days and 3 hours after work. Then played the 360 demo of PES 2009 and thought it was shit! Downloaded the ps3 version to see if it would make me feel any better and stragely it did! I know the animations are shite and not as good as PS2 versions (WE9 Liveware Evolution was my best) but guys there is something that PES got that Fifa don't. I still be playing more PES than Fifa this year!

Now I have PS3 demo and I have to say PS3 version is better than PC in my opinion. The game is slower on PS3 and that´s good. I´m loving the fact that PEs 2009 is so hard. That´s really good!! You have to pass a lot but not always pressing X without looking at your teammates. You have to make 2-3 quick passes then stop and think and look to the radar. Then make another 1 or 2 passes. This game is very good :) I´m happy with it. 16th October I´m buying it. Just hope the online mode is good. 2 vs 2 will be great!! PES is back :) It´s not a great game, but it´s a good one :)

Just don´t understand why they took gk cursor from the game :(

As I've said in the past. Konami should just concentrate their efforts on what they know best, Playstations.

Granted it sounds a bit (or a lot) fanboy-ish, but if they only have to concentrate on one platform, then they'll get better results.

And with the d-pad being an essential PES tool, you'd have to say the PS3 is better suited to PES than the 360 is.

The proper game would be much better. Demos are always crap.

I've never played a demo and thought 'wow'. They are just meant to give a small taste. Also this must be a older build which isn't helping.

indeed demo's usually are bit "more simple", i like this one (not overwelmed) but i sure hope they tweak the GK's a bit more, they need some serious attention imo.

100% agree, however this is not fair for X360 users. Should be only PC and PS. But you know... money talks so more sales, more money. X360 will have its version always I guess.

You have to open a UK account in the Europe store. Then you can download the demo once you enter the Europe store.

Look for a tutorial over the Internet.

I dont think the final game would be a lot different from the demo. I guess it is 90% the same.

i play i little bit far of the tv and panoramic camera i dont see very well,otherside the graphics in my tv are not like in pc, i dont have hd.shit

I also won't spend so much for a decent HD tele, just bought myself a new computerscreen, 24 inch with 1920*1200 res. and hdmi port.

The games look really nice now, pes 2008 was really ugly in standard definition!

cool :) i will se the prices of hd tv, maybe il buy one dont know yet, until there i play in this one, is fun anyway. im curious to play on line dont you?

Excuse me...but that is not the same demo i´ve played on the pc, the players run different, is a lot faster, the ball moves faster also, i think they made the game for xbox360 and ps3, and they ported to pc...well, the game for the pc is a piece of crap..in the 360 it looks way better, maybe that´s the problem with the different points of view, maybe if everybody explains in wich platform plays.
I like a lot more the video from xbox360 than the game from my pc..:(

yep, i hope it's gonna be lag free, but the most I enjoy the 1vs1 and 2vs2 with my mates, didn't play much online. My Xboxlive gold is already couple of months expired here, used someone elses profile to download the demo.

are you playing lower than high? Did you disable frame skipping? Did you force vsync? I did all that and the game changed...its now exactly like that video...
