In germany it will be available at 6 pm local time. Don't know about PSN UK.

PSN doesnt usually update till late afternoon.

No good keep asking for it - its not as if there isnt going to be a tonne of "ITS UP!" posts the second it hits PSN.

This is awful, it really is. Used to absolutely love playing PES with my mates, but now it's just arcadey.

Every shot you take seems to go in or at least hit the target. Keepers can't catch the ball either. The passing is hilarious, they toe poke it like every time, and magically slide to reach the ball to make the pass.

It could grow on me, but after playing both demo's, Fifa is far ahead of it. Going to take a lot for me to go back to PES now.

Another thing, why do players always turn using the exact same animation. It's repetitive and boring.

Every new PES takes time to grow on you. I remember thinking each time 'this is awful', but you get used to it and end up loving it

Anyone else played the 360 demo? Thoughts . .

Why does that video get played after every game? Can't be skipped either.

Playing the 360 DEMO. Love the shooting but how clunky does this game feel!! - its like all the players have concrete boots on!

Just downloading now for teh 360. It's flying, 1% every few seconds.

Downloading now, but got Uni, so will definately be done when im back, better impress haha! Guess its quite cool, today PES demo, tomorrow Fifa released. Good couple of days to have :D

on the pc version in the settings you can select not to have the video.

Just played my first 5 Matches, all on Top Player, Scores: 0:1, 0:0, 2:2, 2:1, 0:0 Xbox 360 Version.

Gameplay slower than PES08
Players turn slower, not so superfast as on 08
Cant overrun the Defense anymore even with Players like C.Ronaldo
It feels way more realistic
CPU plays way better now

Keepers still let bounce back lot of Balls
Ref quite harsh, had a Red Card in every Game

Who says it plays exactly as the 08 one just has no Clue and saying that is just wrong, go buy Fifa instead, IMO its a fantastic Game.

Please don't bait people with this kind of comment, it isn't necessary. If you find the game fantastic, then great, but you can't state that someone else's opinion is wrong.

Getting into it more now. The way you can shift and create space for yourself is superb tbh. Liking it more now!.

Played it. Loved it. Much improved over 2008. 2008 what?

I know what I'm on about because I hated 2008. Only played it for 2-3 weeks and sold it.

Finally the PES feel is back. Certainly enjoying it!

But hey, this is good for now. Seabass better keep going forth from here.

OK here are my honest impressions. This is much much better than PES 2008, even though due to it's shittness I hardly played it, immediatly this felt much better, it like like PES. In my opinion this is what the first PES on the 360 should have been, PES gameplay with good graphics. It's definitely old school PES. This would have been fine when the 360 was 1st released but as it stands now FIFA has raised the bar and while I may actually get this also, it seems almost robotic when compared to FIFA's seemless play. I don't want to sound like I'm hating on Konami because this is a good game but FIFA is better. However I do now hold hope that Konami can push on from here. But for those who can't get into FIFA, I no longer pity you as IMO you have a good PES to play.

I liked the pc demo gonna download it for xbox 360 but one lil prob I found on the demo was that I found when taking throwins is that there is no animation when you aim to who you want to throw the ball to:sick:

And i have bought FIFA 09 yesterday and i find it a very nice game, but i have the difficulty to get into it. Gonna try it for 2 weeks now, and would be great if i prefer it over the pes2009 demo, but i doubt that.

Yep good post, I hope it's a tidier 2008 with a few more bits added, It seems a shame that both titles are saying next year for any major changes, I hope they both put the effort in ...
