Dazu kommen einige weitere Teams, die mit verfremdeten Namen halbgar integriert wurden, zum Beispiel der FC Chelsea, der in PES 2009 London FC heißt.

Schwach: Wir konnten noch so lange suchen, aber wir haben keine einzige deutsche Vereinsmannschaft entdecken können. Weder lizenziert, noch verfremdet. Wer sich also darauf gefreut hatte, mit dem FC Bayern oder mit Werder Bremen die Champions-League-Saison nachspielen zu können, wird enttäuscht.

Das Ganze führt natürlich dazu, dass ein originalgetreues Nachspielen der aktuellen Champions League überhaupt nicht möglich ist. Es fehlen viele Mannschaften, also sind die Gruppeneinteilungen fiktiv. Es kann sogar passieren, dass zwei Topteams wie Inter und Barcelona in einer Vorrundengruppe landen - in der Realität wird das durch den Modus mit gesetzten Mannschaften verhindert.

Was haben dann Käufer von PES 2009 überhaupt von der Champions-League-Lizenz? Nun, es ist die bekannte Erkennungsmusik der Champions League enthalten, es gibt eine authentische Eröffnungsszene mit dem bekannten Logo und so weiter. Die Verpackung stimmt also, der Inhalt nicht.QUOTE]




If this turns out to be true, then it´s no wonder that the Demo is not out yet ... Konami will disappoint millions of PES Fans!

They should really release news about later online updates with propper licensing!

Otherwise people will surley step back from buying this years game!

So basically, CL is just a gimmick and it doesnt work as CL at all...
The only thing you have are the adboards and the music???
Not even group stages are simulated since 2 big teams ( say ManU and Barca ) can meet in the groupstages???

I already explained this, and anyone with half an ounce of common sense would already have worked out what happened already. They do have RATHER a lot of screenshots to take, we all know it's not an instant response when the player picture changes and sometimes they're going to hit the capture button a bit quickly. So it says "Clichy" but the picture still shows Sagna. I've already seen a Clichy pic somewhere else.

As for Clichy being underrated against Evra, well I should bloody hope so too!

And yeah, I was kinda kidding about Park's ratings, but it beats him being underrated all the time, he's better than bloody Fletcher and probably Giggs now too.

Ummm... the only thing I got was that only 13 of the 32 teams are licensed in game.

Asides from it, I didn't get anything. Anyone care to translate?

- some more (but not all!!!) are unlicensed. No German teams at all.
-> you can't play the real 08/09 season
- random groups, no seeding is done
-> groups of death with Inter and Barca in one group possible
- you only get official logos, music, opening ceremony

Im trying to get more details but was on the phone to my Konami books rep discussing the book release and I asked about a demo, he said they're getting one out today

to be honest Im expecting PC demo only this weekend but thats just my opinion, I know what you guys I like I wouldnt be setting myself up for a flame war if I wasnt sure!!

It is not possible in the real CL that two already seated clubs from a certain "pot" can meet eachother.
However, in PES it is possible it is a random draw e.i. you could have a group consisting out of Inter, Barca, Real and ManU

Not really realistic is it?

From that translation the whole mode seems rushed and they should have held it back for PES 2010, no German teams at all is a disgrace. Why can't they allow us to simulate the current season?

See last year I got hold of the Official guide book 2 weeks early and got loads of abuse which forced me not to post info on here from that

nice to see the idiots on this board are maturing nicely

13 licensed teams in the CL mode. Thats a bit.... poo. The whole mode is supposed to replicate the feel and atmosphere of the real champions league, and having stupid kits and names sort of negates that fact. We'll have to wait and see

Well obviously 4 big teams isn't. But 2 big teams is fine as it happens all the time no?

i hope to god you can edit teams in ch league mode, otherwise it'll look shit! wat is the point of only having less than half of it official, it just seems konami dont care anymore!
