Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Please, Konami has cash but don't think it's worth it because it means less cash in their pockets. Konami is HUGE!

They are firstly catering the japanese market and most people there don't care about teams that aren't the best in the biggest leagues. If Konami cared more about the european market the game wouldn't be the same, more licenses and more realistic gameplay, I would predict.

I hope EA get done by the EU for running an illegal monopoly that pertains to keeping a poor minority in permanent license-poverty.

Why the hell Konami don't let you used edited kits online is a fookin' mystery to me. Who cares if the other bloke doesn't see your creations? As long as everything looks good at your end it'll be fine....

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Incidentally the numerous running animations are in edit mode, the German site had a load of clips of the player edit mode (Ballack somersaults) and the running styles were an option on that. There were at least 3 different running animations even on PES2008 that you could set in edit mode as well, though most were rubbish.

I liked the running styles on PS2 PES5 best cos that's the one that looked most like me...

Can someone PER-LEASE post some TEAM edit mode pics ? Just the box from the PSM3 scan, the magazine's in the shops now ! All I've seen so far is that Spanish Hobby magazine with the red/yellow halved shirt which confirms 4 shirt layers.

Konami want shooting for keeping the exact same unwieldy, one player at a time, multiple screens, edit mode too. Give us multiple player simultaneous edits, I want to see (for instance) a list of all the players with Adidas F50s in green and be able to change everyone from the same style to a different one, or maybe just one person from the list at a time. Same with hairstyles, long/short/socks, long sleeved shirts etc.

It's simple stuff, FFS.

And FWIW, I'm really not bothered about the nets or even the stupid cement bags much, just give me 22 players who look like their real-life counterparts when they are shown close up, standing still, moving, and acting like footballers, and everything else is just detail. Of course that covers AI, edit mode and animations...

Agreed, agreed, agreed. I wish they would add some more goal styles or take those sandbags out in the last minute.

Don't hold your breath mate. It is an ever so simple thing to do, aswell as the gloves, but I can't understand why they won't change it FFS

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Someone here can (could?) explain me how the attack, deffense, response and mentality attributes influence (influences?) the player(s) ?

Thanks.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

How is this possible? Konami must be joking. These stats are a real joke!! Drogba with 84 shot acc and adebayor 79 shot acc! Damn they can´t score a single goal in the game! Bosingwa shoulde be better! 83 stamina? The guy could play 180 minutes if necessary.

John Carew's stats seem a little strange too.....fast and not so good in the air....should be slow and very good in the air.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

probably due to heavy server load. its buffering slowly here as well......

can't seem to skip the part where the two geezers are talking...ugh

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Couldn't they bother with touching up drogba's face image? It's almost white over the eyebrows after the camera flash and then a dark forehead. Doesn't look retarded at all...

And about the stats. I think it's like it has always been. They give great player high speed even if that is not their strength in real life. Because if a player is speedy in PES they will beat everyone.
