Uh oh. Spotted some very dodgy goalkeeping at around the 2 minute mark. Pretty easy save but does the classic diving catch animation but the ball bounces out of the keepers grasp

Click 'Einstellungen' on the top right corner, select 768Kbits/s

Works for me now

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

That 90 degree feint turn looks so stupid. I wish they had better animations in place instead of that

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

I´m very disapointed with PES 2009 player stats. They´re almost the same as PES 6 and PES 2008. Daniel Alves should be the best Right Back in the game, bosingwa should have much more stamina, Fernando Torres should be one of the best strikers in the game and he just has 87 shot acc, he is not that good in the game.

I´m dying to see Van der Vaart stats and Sneijder ones. I bet they´re very bad in the game. It´s incredible how konami just doesn´t care. I give much importance to the stats. Unreal stats ruin the game!

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Couldn't they bother with touching up drogba's face image? It's almost white over the eyebrows after the camera flash and then a dark forehead. Doesn't look retarded at all...

I think it looks fine, he is one of the players who actually IS "shiny" in real life, like a bit like C.Ronaldo, and unlike ALL of the players in PES2008, who looked like they'd Konami had buffed them with Brasso non-stop since PES6 was released.

Well, at least we can edit them. Except online... though actually I wouldn't object to a non-ranked online edited/created team head-to-head mode. Why not ?

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

I agree. No problems with that.

I spend many time playing the game online :( And playing with these player stats will be very bad because they´re unreal.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Haha, I love the way one of the players in that video changes his goalkeeper after he just lets rooneys goal roll in the bottom corner

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Why do they have such crappy players play the demos in these vids?

Experienced Pro Evo players won't learn much from these vids of 2 shit players playing each other with 5 star teams on ALL red condition arrows.

Playing on red arrows makes Pro Evo look shit.....too easy.

Well maybe if it was because he had a spotlight on him in a certain angle.

The problem with Konamis faces is that the light and shadows are not from inside the game, but just from the photos that gets smacked on the face mesh. It's very old gen and they should change this. As of now the shadows in faces are different on players because of the lighting the photographer used. That looks pretty bad in game when shadows are static and different even when players are next to eachother. I know it's all about gameplay, but this is still old gen technology... it's lazy.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

I always play red arrow with mates. Random against computer

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Random arrows is a great feature - more realistic as players can have 'off days' and gives you an excuse to tinker with the team.

Random arrows all the way!

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Red arrows is shite....Random is for men..

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

I don't want 'off days' when i'm trying to beat my mates

random is just for people making up excuses

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Random is more realistic... the great players play with random, not even green. I hate it, just so unrealistic.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Its all down to personal preference, which is why Konami have the given us the option to choose between them. I personally go with red cause it gives you a fun experience with a couple of quick 10 minute exhibition games against my friends.

When it comes to the series 'realistic' feel to the players then I leave that for playing tournaments and Master League (on PES6 anyway).

The whole point of random is to have red, yellow, green, blue AND EVEN SHITTY GREY....a mixture, giving you a challenge. And if by chance you end up with a load of reds online, you had better make the most of it. Having a lot of reds online against a 5 star picking loser is great, when you have picked a 4 star or lower team.

I only play online and don't pick 5 star unless they do and then i only pick England.

Maximum settings make the game play like FIFA in my opinion.

As for these vids of PES2009, i hope to god that it's the red arrow settings making the keepers look a bit dodgy. A little dodgy in PES2009 i can accept....PES2008 dodgy means i won't be buying the game.

Yeah and Cristiano Ronaldo e Mancini still dribbling a lot, I can´t even see their legs lol they´re so fast. Hope is the red arrwow...

Anyway didn´t see anything special on the video. I easily could call it PES 2008. Same goals, same animations, same build up.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Pes only has the ligue 1 and eredivisie licensed!!!!! ?????????

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Also Serie A and some spanish teams (Real, Barça, Deportivo, Bilbao, villarreal)

I see what you mean, that the reflection shouldn't already be on the texture - but I suppose there is the slight possibility that maybe the edit mode uses a light source directly ahead of the player and it's actually not just the texture ?

I suspect I'm giving Konami too much credit there, but it's not REALLY something that bothers me a great deal, details that aren't important unless the game itself works well.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Unter den Neuzugängen befinden sich unter anderem Zenit St. Petersburg und Brondby IF" the ligue 1 and eredivisie ist fully licensed and many other teams are licensed like Barca real inter ac mailand porto....

Well, strictly speaking the TEAMS in Serie A are licensed, though not the name "Serie A" itself.

And whoever asked a few days ago, it was Cagliari who weren't licensed when the rest of Serie A were, that was around PES5/WE10 time.

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

Yes BEcause they don´t have Serie A License, but they have license for every serie A team (maybe individually).

Re: PES 2009 News Discussion Etc. (STRICTLY NO FIFA DEMO IMPRESSIONS OR POLITICAL CHA

wheres man utd prem kits? so konami only licenced man utd with CL kits... idiots:brick:

Man U "Prem kits" are exactly the same* other than the numbers, and the Prem numbers will (you would hope) be in edit mode like they have been in the last few seasons, so there's no issue with that provided the number style in licensed teams isn't fixed - but I see your point.

*actually Man U tend to play in white socks in the CL even when their socks don't clash with their opponents, and they ALWAYS play at home in black socks in the Prem, so there is a slight difference, but not exactly vital, and certainly not "Man Utd not having licensed Prem Kits", if anything they've got licensed Prem Kits (black socks) not a licensed CL one, despite the shirt number style.
