To the peeps working in retail:

Is the Wii continuously out of stock because of sheer demand from customers - or are Nintendo unable to supply a sufficient number of consoles to the stores? Out of interest, how many 360's (which is surplus to demand now) are being sold compared to Wii's?

It's crazy that, three or so months after launch, it's still v difficult to find stock anywhere

I read somewhere that stores are getting deliveries of 5-10 consoles a time which are all selling out straight away. Nintendo have no way of speeding up the production without sacrificing the build quality apparantly.

WOW. I'll have to read a review first but if the gameplay is anywhere near as good as that looks, then I've just been suckered into buying a Wii.

Judging on the way that handheld games play, you just know it won't be as good as playing an FPS on a "proper" console. Plus I think it would be hard to play an FPS without an analog stick or a mouse (now that we're spoilt).

But those screenshots are still really impressive.
