So...the Raptors got the Net in the first round. Worst possible scenario. I'd rather play against Wall and the Wizards or Bobcats than the Nets as they have so much experience, it's gonna be tough. We must play fast and hard!

And even if we win, Miami's for sure knocking at the door. I highly doubt the Bobcats can stop them in the first round...

For the WC, They are all so interesting! I'm a Popovich fan, so I hope they can go far!

Checked my preview here. I think the stuff I was wrong about was pretty much a consensus. I underrated Phoenix, Portland, Charlotte and Toronto. And the negative surprise were New York and Orlando.

The strange thing is that I had almost no faith in OKC, they were #7 at my rankings and they were the second best in real life. Really surprised by the way they played.

Now the thing about Curry I wanted to ask, do you guys agree with Gary Payton? That Curry is not a real point guard, to me that's an absurd statement. I would dare to say Curry was the best point guard this year, and maybe even #3 overall player.

The dude was amazing this year, last year he had already improved his playmaking a lot and this year he continued that path and also improved driving.

He became a threat on a range almost no point guard is, the area that he can pull up off the dribble, he can pass, he can drive is very hard to cover.

And also huuuuuuge credits for him that the team runs almost zero offensive schemes and he still able to make something of it. I dream about him running the Spurs floor. Parker is a real threat moving at speed but from the midrange zone to closer, imagine with a dude that has a wider zone to move, he would be unstoppable.

And finally the defense, that every lazy journalist pick up on him, Curry is not a bad defender at all, Golden State runs team defense, and you will almost never see him messing up rotations, you will also see him knowing exactly where the team wants to angle the other team ballhandler. Surely 1-on-1 he is as bad as they say. Overall though he is not great, but not awful either.

Curry is awesome! That's all I'll say.

Looks like Bogut is out for rest of season and although GSW will probably play small, Jermaine O'Neal and Speights will play a bigger role than many imagined at the beginning of the season.

And what a great pick up Iguodala was. A huge asset to this team. Versatile, experienced, can do a bit of everything even though he's obviously past his peak now.

I think I agree with him that Pull Up From 30 isn't a 'real' point guard.

Looking forward to Clippers vs. Warriors later. Glad it's at decent time for Germany and also broadcasted in German Pay TV Sport1 US HD.

With a horrible game from Curry. He does this every series, lets wait for that Curry Threezus game now. Everything going according to plan

Now have yall seen what I talk about GSW's offense? They run absolutely nothing but iso posts and Curry hero ball. That's the bad coaching people talk about.

watching spurs-mavs: kevin harlan is as biased as f*ck.

edit: f*ck this sh*t. letting a 19-2 run in the 4th q of a playoff game. f*ck off mavs.

No more excuses for Paul. The guy is supposed to be a HOF talent and is playing on a stacked clippers team. I think the Pacers will get it done in more games then they thought. C'mon Bobcatz

Not really :CONFUSE: the package name is not even clickable.

Edit: Maybe it should not be the premium, but I did click on the red button that said free-trial

Mike Woodson sacked... Have to say I saw that coming given a lot of lacklustre performances and lack of playoff position.

Any guesses who's next in line though?

Rumour mill seems to be steve kerr is one of the front runners.
I feel bad for mike woodson, i know it was a bad season but not all of that was down to him, most of the player's were awful, although when bad seasons happen, coach always takes the fall.

lol. Heard on a podcast the other day that there might be a name change for Washington. Back to Bullets? Weird seeing Arenas highlights during the game even though he's old enough to still play ball in the L. He was like a guard version of Melo during his prime.

C and P from the Score website:

With the Raptors and Nets set to throw the ball up on Game 2 of their opening round playoff series on Tuesday night, disgraced former NBA referee Tim Donaghy went on Sportsnet 590 The Fan in Toronto and said that he believes the Raptors are at a disadvantage in the series.

“They’re not only going against the Brooklyn Nets but going against the league office,” Donaghy said. “They have a very talented team and have to be that much better than the Brooklyn Nets. I have picked Brooklyn to win the series with (Paul) Pierce, (Kevin) Garnett, Joe Johnson and even Jason Kidd. When you look at the coaches – the referees are going to be more active to talk and respond to (Kidd) over (Raptors coach) Dwane Casey.”

Donaghy believes that the league office indirectly trains officials to favor certain teams.

“What they do is they actually send in a representative from the league office to sit down with the referees at an 11 o’clock meeting in the morning where they go over game film. They will show the referees what they want called, what they want them to concentrate on, what they feel needs to be called or let go in a series to avoid any problems. With that, you would leave the room and say to yourself one team is put at an advantage or disadvantage.

“In this situation, Brooklyn would be put at an advantage. A Brooklyn-Miami matchup would bring great ratings and that’s what this is all about for the NBA and the league offices – bringing in as many dollars as they can.”

Donaghy wasn't surprised by what happened in Game 1.

“Some of the things that the league does and continues to do puts these teams at a disadvantage — like the Toronto Raptors — because moving forward they won’t bring in the big dollars for the league. It’s terrible for the fans (of) Toronto. They go and support that team but really they’re going to have trouble moving on based on talent and what takes place on the floor when they’re really going against the refs and the league, along with the Nets.”

The league issued a response later in the evening, and didn't pull any punches. This from NBA spokesman Michael Bass, via Michael Grange.

"Tim Donaghy is a convicted felon looking for any opportunity for people to listen to his baseless allegations. For Mr. Donaghy to continually try to challenge his former colleagues' ethics is distasteful, and says more about his own integrity than it could ever say about our referees who are the best and most scrutinized game officials in the world."

Donaghy was an NBA official from 1994-2007 before being fired for betting on games he officiated. He was sentenced to 15 months in prison for fixing NBA games.
