Manchester United Thread

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

This is so funny, Keane acting all high and mighty and sweetness and light. This comes from the guy who openly admitted deliberately trying to injury an opponent, in probably the worst tackle many fans have ever seen.

There is always two sides to every story, Gary Neville must have said or done something to rile Vieira into taking some action, but this of course is over-looked.

And why does Keane insist on protecting poor defenceless Gary Neville? He is a grown man FFS!! Plus he seems to be able to stick up for himself on the pitch so whats the difference off the pitch? You can just see it can't you, Neille going back into the dressing room in tears saying "Keano, that nasty Vieira has called me fergie's gimp again, and I can't take it anymore, sort him out for me?". Can't fight your own battles eh Gary? My advice to you is, if you can't take it, don't dish it out.

FFS at least read the feckin thing, he said it got physical, what you dont think a captain should stick up for his team mates, you think Tony Adams would stand for it, you goons................

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Its not stupid mate, its just a difference of opinion, whats wrong with that? Gary Neville can be a thug on the pitch, but when it happens behind the scenes in the tunnel, he can't cope with it. Just making an observation thats all. You Utd fans shouldn't be so touchy.

Metallica, that was NickyBaker who has disappeared from these forums, not seen him for ages.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Ignore this moron lads...he just cant answer after vann's post and his "I love winding you lot up..." is just plain self explainatory. He needs some tissue and a hug from Arsene Wanker.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Anyway..... about Milan game. Im actually very disappointed because I really really really wanted to see United -Milan with their full teams as it was a game that happens once in a life time. Im also sad because our main firepower is gone. Sucks really.

I am sure if you ask Vann he enjoys winding up us Gooners just as much, just check out some of his posts in our forum. I really don't see what your problem is, where's your sense humour?

theres been plenty of arse-wipes who have been made to look foolish for their remarks about how great their team is and that United are past it.

yeah I was aware of the result, was more concerned with how they played, did they rest anyone, that sort of thing.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Just noticed that by the time chelski play their next league game we could be within 3 points of them, methinks the pressure is gonna be too much for them.

Milan dominated the game. The end of the first half had something like 10 corners against 1. Milan was all over Cagliari, just lacked the finishing as Cagliari had 11 men behind the ball in their own half. It was one of those matches where the only way to score was a shot from outside the box, alot like the Arsenal-Bolton game.

Stam was in good shape, and he recently announced on the newspaper that he knew RVN inside out and wanted his revenge on SAF (some personal issues i guess).

THe good thing about the win and Sheva's injury (well not really) is that the win was morale boosting as the team is now first. The fact that sheva is injured might pressure the team to play better in order to cover his absense.

- Rested - Gattuso, Nesta, Kaladze, Kaka

Well we'll be defensive on Wednesday, not exactly 11 men behind the ball but we wont be going hell for leather.

Stam will get a fantastic reception from us, he was a massive fave at OT and the fans never really got a chance to show their appreciation, im always suspect when players come out and say things like he said though , things like that tend to come back and bite you on the ass.

It could well be too much if they find you 3 points behind them, here's hoping! If we can't win it, I would prefer it to go to OT.

Of course he wants revenge, he had just splashed out on a new kitchen then told he was being sold. How would you feel?

thats only if we win our own games. if we drop points, then its a different matter.

we are looking so different from the beginning of the season, it's amazing. we can still play better too.

yeah of course, every game is a must win, its been that way for months tohugh. Like you say we are playing really well, ive seen us get on runs like this before we can be unstoppable.

with some of the big chelsea players out and also losing in the fa cup (a chance of winning silverware), they would have lost some confidence. they have to play barcelona, and if they lose that, could signal the start of a blip in their season.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

The only problem now is that since RVN is back we might have to change our formation to accomodate Rooney, Giggs and Ronaldo. Personally id like us to keep the current formation and start with Rooney on Wednesday with Ruud on the bench. Once Ruuds got a couple of games under his belt he should start for the 2nd leg.

good point. ruud could come on in halfway through the second half as a replacement for rooney, then we can still keep the current formation.

i can't wait for the match against milan, but i also want to watch the barcelona chelsea match too. if only i had to sky boxes...

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

I'm hoping 1-1. 2-1 would be an advantage to us because if we can get 1-0 at home...... its trouble for you. At home we're really strong in Europe.

we're the same, very strong at home and also decent away, which is where Milan dont seem to that strong.

It'll be a case of containment at home, if we get a win and or a clean sheet I fancy us to take the tie, if you get an away goal it'll be problems for us, its where we always go wrong in europe.
