I know I'll probably get critized but I think it's quite sad how United have sold their entire image and philosophy. van Gaal was supposed to bring in youth and stick to the way Ferguson has been doing it, buying one player a window maybe for big money. The sense of stability has vanished from United and I wonder what fans who can look beyond the big money signings think of this, as these transfers will likely make you get rid of two academy products in Cleverly and Welbeck. I know Cleverly isn't everyones favourite player, but the way he's been made the scapegoat for everything wrong at United is really unfair.
Totally agree with the start of this, but not the end. At some point you have to agree things aren't going to work out - and with TClevz23 that time is now (or 12 months ago).
We tried, for 3 years more or less to get him to work in our midfield, but 3 years and 3 managers later and he's worse than he was pre that lovely Kevin Davies breaking him.
I think I said last page, I'd rather we'd signed players like Blind and Herrera, kept Danny and come 6th then break all these records, flash our big bollocks everywhere and then still not make the top 4.
To the Arsenal thread!!!
