Manchester United Thread

one thing which made me smile today was Di Maria getting on the ball to run at there defence and a chorus of boo's.

That fear factor has been missed.

Even with all the injuries, with the players you had upfront the Burnley goalkeeper should've been tested a lot.

You guys need someone like William Carvalho and Enzo Perez in midfield.

Really? The headlines said there would be 11 moves, both in and out. Surely another cb would be wanted?

I really hope so. I've been mostly critical of Evans since he became a regular in the first team and now that he s finally exposed it seems to come as a shock to some. The dude doesn't have the speed or footballing intelligence to be a proper CB. Then again.. Maybe the likes of Vidic, Ferdinand and Stam in their prime have spoiled me too much.

I've posted a while back about evans, all i'll say is he'd struggle to make it into most premier league teams, fact he is our starter says a lot to how weak we are defensively

What is the point?

I don't know his style of play very well, but isn't he very similar to Rooney and RvP in that he isn't very fast but more of a skillfull, solid striker?

I think LvG has looked at Liverpool an decided to take it a step further; better attack with crapper defense. League title sorted!

Okay, so to make top 4 we need an actual central midfieler and probably an experienced center back.

We then spend the best part of 70 million pounds on a winger and a striker. And get rid of (likely) our local lad Danny.

I don't understand. Don't get me wrong, Di Maria and Falcao?! But United have never been a transfer muppet type club. We supposed buy young and develop talent. What. Is. Going. On?!

Do not like.

Saw that, from the same article that said it was a 22m loan deal.

There's other saying it's a 6m loan deal. No one knows. Just like Rooney's salary - half the papers said the new deal was the largest in the league, the other half said it was actually lower than before, but he had outside commerical interests.

No one knows.

For the record, I don't want Falcao. I want Danny Welbeck. I don't support United because we (used to) win a lot, I support us because we're supposed to be a bit different.

Must be like being a Barca fan at the moment. More than a club, Neymar dealings, Messi tax dodge, owners going to jail.

Football is f*cked. I'm going to start watching the NFL. Now there's a sport with strong moral characters. Heard they just introduced a two-strikes and you're out deal on domestic violence.

Welbeck is my jam, I'll admit it. As we won't come close to the league this year, I kind of hoped that Arsenal would win it, now I'm 100% behind that. So pick it up Gooners!

Can't believe United are getting so in with dealings like the Falcao thing. Makes a mockery of football. First the loan to Monaco in the first place, not to mention the wages and the whole Mendes thing - makes my skin crawl.

Sigh, at least watching us lose will hurt a little less.

Guess we re making up for the lost shirt sales somewhat by replacing Kagawa and Chicha with Di Maria and Falcao. We re turning into Real.
On the plus side..we would sweep the best looking team awards with the ladies if we forget about the British dudes.
