Manchester United Thread

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

*sniggers*

Oh yes, the messiah has returned. Another loss, and possibly another game without a goal. Cheers me up from the mess at Liverpool :D

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

I don't understand why first Allardyce, and now Keegan, put N'Zogbia at left back. The guy is not defensively secure, which can be seen in our first goal when he loses track of Rooney, but he is quick and can dribble. His best position is as a left winger.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

I wonder what the betting would have been for knocking 10 goals past a team, Newcaslte, over two matches with no reply. One more and thats quite a goal difference boost.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

I wonder what the odds are for Ronaldo getting a hat-trick home and away against Newcastle...

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

Almost...

Make that 11 mate!

Very professional performance against a shambolic Newcastle. Rooney and Carrick were amazing. That sends a HUUUUUUGE message to Wenger; "We are coming for you baby!"

Fucking chuffed tonight. Man United 4 Arsenal 0, Lyon 1 Man United 1, Newcastle 1 Man United 5. How's that for bouncing back?! :SAL:

THAT'S WHY WE'RE CHAMPIONS! :))

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

The Gunners are getting kicked around at the moment and we are hitting a rough patch at the wrong time, you guys are taking full advantage and credit is due, you are playing great team football and although it hurts its great to watch, hopefully Arsenal can get their act together and we can have a proper showdown in OT for the league!

Plan M, I don';t come out of the woodwork when Arsenal are winning or UTD are losing, my PC got a virus and its undergoing repairs right now, just like Eduardos gammy leg. Best of luck to your team for the rest of the season, I hope none of them go down the way Eduardo did, sad to see.... :(

Sums up my thoughts exactly.

Ronaldos been a bit down lately, so its great to see Rooney hitting a patch of form.

And especially Carrick, I thought he made the difference for us last year, and its nice to see him picking up again this year, one of my favourite players.

What a perfect day for us (minus Eduardos incident, because I wouldn't wish that upon anyone). Lets go get those Gunners lads!

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

Well played you reds.

Damn those Geordies were looking through black and white lenses on the second coming of Keegan. Not won in 10, and only 3 goals in that period.

Nice words mate. I miss our banter. :)

My prayers are with Eduardo - he will be a special player.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

It was an expected win really. After leading 2 nil at the break,I thought complacency would creep in but the lads kept their drive and slotted in 3 more goals.Big ups to Ronaldo and Rooney but glad to see Mr Glassaha getting a goal.20 goals for Ronaldo now in the premiership!

It could have been more because Newcastle's comical defending was a bonus.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

Wrong Phrase Ron's on 21 in the league and 29 overall, Great week for us but obviously the Eduardo situation is a sad moment in a memorable week for us

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

Phrase been off in a lot lately from fixtures to coaching now goals... I hope things are ok w/ ya

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

Thanks for pointing that out Young,21 goals in the premiership for a winger is extraordinary! I bet he will end the season with about 35 goals.

How superb was Carrick today? Just reinstated my point that he should be a starter alongside a mobile midfielder like Fletcher and Anderson.

We have a different modes of partnerships now in the middle.

Hargreaves + Anderson --- Seems to be Sir Alex's favourite.
Carrick + Anderson --- 2nd choice.
Carrick + Fletcher --- Worked really well last night.
Carrick + Scholes --- Proven last season.
Fletcher + Anderson --- Highly mobile against Arsenal.
Hargreaves + Scholes --- Experienced.
Carrick + Hargreaves --- Holding mode midfield.

The great thing about this is that Sir Alex is always mixing it up and its not messing with the flow of the team. Rafa always switches his teams up and they pay for it because they have no consistancy. Not sure how Sir Alex is doing it but its working really well.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

Maybe it's to do with small fact that our wide player's are absolutely shit compared to yours, and not with rotation at all?

Thats besides the point. We have many wide players too who all get rotated. You can have all the best players in the world but they still need to gel and have an good understanding of each other. Sir Alex has managed to do that with all his players. Fletcher came in a couple of games ago and looked as if he had always been playing regularly for us.

Looks like United are making a huge dive toward 1st place coming up to the end of the season lads.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread .

You can tell when the Goons haven't won a match for ages when their supporters come in here posting photos. How ANY Arsenal fan can criticise other teams for diving when they INVENTED IT just baffles me.

As a Gooner I would be more worried with the fact that your captain cried like a baby yesterday - what message does this send out to the rest of the squad? The Arsenal team are looking very shakey, the pressure of being top is clearly getting to Wenger's youngsters.

To add to Arsenal's miserable week Spurs winning the Carling Cup must be the icing on the cake!

Hehe, I can seriously see Ronaldo getting 30 in the league now, obviously this is optimistic but with games against Fulham,Derby i wouldnt bet against him getting 3 or 4 goals with those games which would put him on 24 -25, anyway Matherto said in the La Liga thread that if Barca go through and if we do aswell it'll be Man Utd V Barca....?can anyone confirm this as a neutral and from a footballing perspective i think this WILL be the best the games of the CL but am quite reluctant to face Barca as we all know how good they can be:-ll
