1 Job on TEESSIDE!
What a match this is. Best ive listened to on the radio in a long time. Brilliant game.
8mins left, 3-2 Boro

Antother 3 points down the drain . . . .
Congrats to Middlesbrough - look at my post before the match, I said I had a dodgy feeling about tonight. We are letting the Premiership slip through our fingers - big time. We are conceding too many goals, considering we are supposed to be the champions of England. I`m not too happy with our defence at the moment - Brown is not ready for a first team place.
Again, full credit to `Boro, any victory at Old Trafford is massive for any team. :(

obviously the FA panel didn't have a tape to record this match and their TV was broken, so they will find it hard to get a replay.. ;)

I never thought United would miss Ferdinand so much! Frustration was there to see.

Man utd may have lost tonight and most non man utd fans are jubilant, but I must say this, Manchester United are at there most dangerous when they look down and out...

Yeah they were pretty dangerous when they looked down and out and 2-0. But hey. ;)

The signs were ominous really. I knew Boro would do us a favour after dumping our ladies team out of the Carling Cup.

Darn, utterly dissappointed. What we can only do now is keep on winning and pray for slip ups from either Arsenal or Chelsea.I thought O'Shea would do better playin as centerback(his natural position) alongside Silvestre but it seems that we couldnt stop conceding goals after Rio's absence.Whats next for United? Brown needs time, which we dont have,O'Shea is plunging down,we lost Van Buyten to Citeh,Rio out for 8 months,Inconsistency for Neville and Fortune.Keane for defence?? Hats off only to Silvestre IMHO.Buck up lads...

Hurrah for Middlesborough!
Is it now obvious enough for you mancunians why I dislike Scholes!
He should've gotten a red card!

Scholes is sheer quality, I`ll say it till I`m red in the face, I don`t know what he was thinking last night,

He'll definately get at least 3 games and that will not help you at all. By the time it goes to the panel he could miss the game at Highbury.

Yup Scholes should have been off. Was ridiculous. I rate him as a player but his attitude when you werent playing well stunk. All credit for Doriva not reacting, and Millsy not breaking his legs. He probably wont get done though. The 2nd camera angle of it follows the ball and you see Scholes stick his arms out but you cant see Doriva. Knowing the shitty FA they'll claim they cant ban Scholes just on the one camera angle where you see him hit him.
Good old Forlan as well. Brilliant miss. I Love Forlan!

LOL Boro have turned into a proper bogey team for us and the 3-2 scoreline keeps on popping up.

Well it was defo coming, our defense as looked shaky in the alast few games so its no suprise.

Gotta sort it out for the berties visit on Saturday, if we win that i can forgive them for pretty much anything....

Funny thing is though, is that a few United supporters have been saying we should get back to our traditional way of playing, two wingers, two strikers but since we've started playing like that we've been leaking goals left and right, also Rio's ban has hit us alot more than I thought it would.

It was always gonna be difficult for us this season and I never had us down for winning the league, but I want at least a top three finish!!!

Does anyone know if paul burkin covered the paul scholes handbags in his match report? Considering his back was turned for the main incident.

United have been linked with Mexes recently. A really good move for you lot - and one that I imagine a few are resperate for. The guy's a great defender and I'm sure he'll sign.

Not sure about the links to attacking players. It's never been a problem for United to scrore goals, and with the addition of Saha, as we've seen confirmed in the past few matches - it's been upped.

A bit of "reverse psychology" there me thinks.. ;)

Nah I cant be arsed with all that shit, the pressure was on last year cos people said it'd be a failure for to not win a trophy for two straight seasons so aslong as we come back strong next season I can live with a top three finish.

Anyway you's deserve it (up until now anyway) it took a near flawless end of season push for us to win it last year but the way you's have been playing so far this season its hard to see anyone getting close, I reckon we'll still give you a run for your money mind plus we've still gotta go to highbury so its still all there to play for I s'pose....

Fergie rates this kid, rumour is that when Mexes was young Fergie took him for a tour of OT and had a shirt with the kids name sent to him.

I'd welcome him in the team but tbh its the full back position that needs sorting out, Oshea isnt a natural full back, IMO he should be playing at CB alot more than he does, so really we have Sheasy, Brown, Rio and Silvestre all vying for CB....

I thought it was rumoured Mexes leaving for Juventus.

Please?

Along with Arsenal, Roma and Inter. Some fresh rumours coming up of links with United. I think Juve and United need him the most - and both will suit him good. Arsenal have proved that Wenger doesn't relaly need another defender (and once Senderos is fit...). I think signing Reyes was an indication of that. Roma are sturdy still, and Inter wouldn't be the wisest choice if I were him. They're packed with players in nearly every position.

Just depends on whether he wants to move to eNgland or Italy, I suppose.

The ref saw the whole thing clearly, He didn't do anything!

Yeah saw it clearly with his back to the incident. Unless he's got eyes in the back of his head or a live beam from the tv cameras into his brain he didnt see it. He turns away as the ball goes to Zenden and turns back to see Scholes and Dorvia squaring up.
