True, the commentators did mention that in the last 9 games Kleberson has started for us we have never won. Make it 10 now.

But that shouldnt stop any manager from playing him from the start. I think he needs more games and needs to be to shoot less. He looks like he has a future at Man Utd.

Chelsea are ready to go to war with Manchester United over their signing of £4million wonderkid John Obi Mikel.
The blues are threatening legal action because they insist the nigerian teenage sensation had already agreed to join them.
And a senior Chelsea source said last night: "This could be a very explosive case."
"We are certainly not going to give up on this lightly. We are talking to our lawyers and are convinced we have a case."
"United may have announced they have done the deal - but let's just wait and see about that."
A bemused Mikel, who plays for norwegian side FC Lyn Oslo, revealed he had originally done a deal to go to Chelsea NOT United.
At the press conference to announce his move to Old Trafford last weekend, Mikel, 18, confessed: "I am surprised it turned out to be Manchester United not Chelsea." That is hardly surprising because in January he told Norway's Daily Dagbladet newspaper: "I have signed a four-year contract with Chelsea."
But FIFA regulations prevented Chelsea cementing the deal until Mikel had turned 18.
Mikel explained: "They did not want me to go back to Africa so I am in Norway."
"I cannot join Chelsea until I am 18 later this year."
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho claimed: "I have found gold. He plays with a maturity that exceeds his age by far. He will join Chelsea as soon as the Norwegian season ends."
But United nipped in while Chelsea were preoccupied with the push for Premiership and Champions League glory.
Alex Ferguson was cock-a-hoop at outwitting Mourinho for Mikel - whose fee could rise to £8.5m.
Mikel revealed: "Alex Ferguson told me he would have a party to celebrate the signing of me."

This guys sounds good if Chelsea want him that bad. (Took me a while to type that out)

If theres gona be this much fuss over him he must be something special.
Another point is that if Fergie feels the need to chop and change his team as he did on Saturday wouldnt it be wise to give playing time to some youth team players rather than the shite that is Kleberson, O'Shea etc.

IMHO,we should sign either Ballack or Essien for the def mid position,F.Malouda for the left wing berth and Luis Figo to be our catalyst player.This John Obi Mikel sounds pretty convincing,did Jose Mourinho really said that..."I have found gold. He plays with a maturity that exceeds his age by far."...that is some substance from the Chelski manager.

John Obi Mikel was on MUTV. He's gonna wear the number 21 shirt so we officially have him now.
If we get Figo, he would be a free so that leaves any money we have for another good signing like Essien or Ballack.
Figo would be an important player for us cuz other than Giggs and Ronaldo, we dont have another real winger and Figo can play on both sides. Plus he could take out set pieces for us too.
Any 2 out of those 3 would be enough for us.

And we've been linked with Sagnol from Bayern Munich. Would he make a good Man Utd player?

I dont think so coz Sagnol plays right back and I know G.Neville is getting a bit old but sagnol isnt getting any younger himself and we already have sufficient cover for right bk position with brown and oshea, i know theyre not great but those 2players can do the job fine. This John Obi Mikel geezer seems like a good prospect as chelsea tried hard to get him but lost out last minute apparently due to Mr kenyon not respecting Lyon enough and doing things behind Lyons back.

I dont know if Ballack is a DM midfielder coz as RuneEdge said Konami puts him like that on the game when in real life he plays more a scholes role for Bayern but maybe for Germany he has played DM.

i really do hope essien comes to United but i dont know where United would get the money from to be honest.

Thats what I thought but we still pulled out £4million for John Obi Mikel. We definately have more money than people think.

You really think so? IMO, all the players that are better than him arent available.

I think Ronaldo has cut down on his tricks a bit too much. He isnt getting past players as much as he used to. These days he just goes down the wing and gives an early cross. But his crossing has definately improved by a significant amount.

From Fergie's comments i really think we're having a house sale this summer. Kleberson's just about done I'd figure. If we can get a good price for Smith, I think he'd be worth selling (no offence, I like him, but he doesnt' really play a position useful to United, not out and out striker, no good enough vision and passing to midfield). Saha's going to be great if he can learn how to prevent injury, he and Ruud should be a good partnership, with Rooney just behind them. I think O'Shea is becoming a bit like Phil Neville, as in a useful person to have in the squad. Not spectacular but can play in a bunch of positions and doesn't mind not always starting.
Liam Miller's another question mark for me. In the reserves Jones seems to be preferred, and Miller has had virtually nil first team action this year, so I don't know what the point of having him around is. If he can fetch a couple mil, it all adds up.
If the reserves are really as good as people say (i don't have MUTV) then hopefully a couple of them can move up and replace the benchwarming first teamers, not costin us anything, and we can make some money selling them. And then hopefully bring in a quality midfielder mastermind and a solid keepr.

I recall hearing that Fergie is willing to give Kleberson another chance as he still has some belief in him. As for Liam Miller, what's the story with him? How did he suddenly dissapear? I remember him playing in the first few games at the beginning of the season, how the hell was he hyped as "the New Keane"? :lol:

The only reasons why he was called the next Keano was cuz he plas in midfield and he's from the same town as Roy Keane.

Sell Smith?!?!? Are you mad? Smith is the most physical out of our 4 strikers and a good player to hold up the ball. Plus he can play in midfield and tighten up the middle of the pitch. He's the type of player that every team needs.

Not likely mate... they already have Hatem Ben Arfa, Florent Malouda, Bryan Bergougnoux, Pierre-Alain Frau, Sidney Govou, Nilmar, Julien Viale and Sylvain Wiltord who can play up front.

I'm hoping he plays some reserve games for us during pre season. The good thing about MUTV is that it shows pre season friendlies LIVE!
If I see anything, I'll let you guys know.
And speaking of the reserve team, I've seen Bellion play for aquite a few games now. I'm thinking he's gonna stay there for a while. No sign of Miller though, he'll probably be sold.
