LOL i think that is too brash to sack him now, but something has to change or someone has to leave coz this is getting riduculous. We havnt scored for the last 3-4 games in premiership. When was the last time that ever happened to United?

I want Alex ferguson to simply change the system to how it use to be or get rid of this carlos queiroz prick, because it must be him drumming nonsense in Fergies head to play 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 in the league which is shit. Tonight we played 4-5-1 against an Everton 4-5-1.

Now i can understand everton choosing to play that formation because they havnt got as much quality going forward in midfield. But for United there is no fucking excuse playing this shitty defensive formation with rooney playing in midfield on the left. And i know rooney moves more central during the game but he shouldnt have to retreat bk to midfield he should be up front linking up with ruud.

Also when we play this shit 4-5-1 Ruud gets isolated and then people wonder why he and United aint scoring. All i see is hopeless balls getting knocked around in the box and it is quite frankly shit to watch.

Anyone tell me how scholes and G.Neville got sent off? coz i couldnt bare watching anymore of the match

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

I still think we need a new guy at the helm as it seems that Fergie has lost control of EVERYTHING!

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

I totally agree with you. A new manager would definately make better use of the quality players we have.
If we have so many great players at the team but continue to play so badly, we can only point at the manager. How many chances are we gonna give him?
You can win all the games you want but its pointless if you lose the games that matter? We have failed to close the gap every time Chelsea played Arsenal and nearly every time our rivals dropped points.

Yes money is required for success there is no doubting that but spending 220million to buy players and one of best coaches is going to gurentee any team success.

BTW when exactly did milan spend all this money? Coz i think you are chatting shit. A few years bk all the top italian sides were spending alot of money on players until they got into debt but it wasnt near 220million

dammit, didn't you read my post!? the 220 million where chelsea totals in 2 seasons, i'm talking bout only one.

And' it's not shitty talk, it was really a few years back, don't remember correctly the year. And yes they were all spending alot of money, and that's why they are all in a pile of shit now full of debts!
Milan bought a ton of players including Redondo, if not mistaken 30-40 million euros, only for him, and they still bought alot more, but still not sure if it was that season, but at least close!. The numbers might be wrong cause at the time the currency was another! They used to spend alot more those days. 70 million euros RM payed only for Zidane was the last big transfer of that era, and even then the big days of crazy spending had already over!

Let me put this in another way. These days we see chelsea spending millions, those days back, it was the bigs guns in italy. who where full of money!
Even fiorentina gave ridiculous amounts of money for low-level players.
I still remember the exodus of players from spanish teams and french teams to italy. Hell even figo was suposed to be at juve if it wasn't that he signed for two teams at the same time in italy! (the other was parma, but not sure), and he got banned from playing in italy for a few years. i bet not many of you knew this!

Hell, 3/4 years ago they even postoponed the start of the serie A because the clubs wanted a few more millions from the TV networks.

And i'm not talking bout this anymore. I only made my point cause u acused me of being a liar!

Peace!

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

You drunk or something?
We've already beat them 3 times this season, and we can do it again.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Well, all I can hope is that the referee never gets another match at this level. He was shit to Everton, shit to United. Why would you send off a player past the time on the clock that you've allowed? Show some fucking restraint and common sense. Paul Scholes is a professoinal, he came in late. Talk to him, laugh it off, blow the whistle. As for Gary, well, what can I say, other than if he was going to get sent off I wish he'd kicked it harder.
Good job Everton, although I will say that was football on par in quality to Porto, but hey, whatever works...right?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

You're right there mate. Everton deserved every bit of that win. And so did their fans.

This season is over for us. We obviously have the FA Cup but even if we do win that, it wont be an improvement over the poor season we had last year.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Sacking Fergie is a bit harsh nut for gods sake why cant he just realise we cant play with this shitty formation. Theres a clear difference why we performed and why Ruud scored on Sunday to this debacle today. 99.99% of people can see this so why cant Ferguson?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Ok i will say this now, I reckon United will go one better than last season and win nothing.

Would you guys want Fergie sacked if we go out of Fa Cup?
i can honestly see that happening, not coz of loss tonight but just the way were united are heading in a downfall.

I mean scholes and g.neville are gettting sent off, thats how you know things aint going right. These two are the older lot of are meant to be setting examples to younger players but yet getting frustrated and losing control themselves coz they know United should be doing alot better, but instead each week they are playing for nothing like last season.

I cant believe Fergie had cheek to come out and complain about referee. These cheap and shit excuses aint going to wash with supporters having to go into work or school tomorrow with people laughing in their faces for losing to norwich, then everton.

Just to re-iterate = Chelsea have the best team this season. But having spent £230 million in last 2 seasons and then hiring the manager of the current european champions, then they should have the best team.

Well we've spent bugger all and are still above you. At least Chelsea have something to show for it!

:lmao:

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Never thought I'd say this but you guys were physically outplayed last night and a few of the players let it get to them. Well done Rooney though for not rising to the bait.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Did Man Yoo lose because all of the Liverpool fans wanted them to win?

Can't believe you are defending Scholes. It was a disgraceful foul and a yellow card. Surely being a "proffessional" he should know that as he is on 1 yellow card already, that foul is gonna get him sent off. In fact he was already walking to the tunnel before the red card came out. From what I saw, you boys lost the physical battle and too be honest that doesn't happen too often does it?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

OK. Maybe sacking is a bad word but maybe Sir Alex should think about stepping down from his position.
We need to go in a new direction in terms of tactics but we arent gonna get that from Sir Alex. Sir Alex never gambles or tries something new which kinda annoys me. I mean, if you use a new formation and it fails, isnt it common sense to change it?
To be honest, people are only sticking up for Fergie because of his past achievements. We all know that history counts for nothing in football. Fergie has to go before he makes things worse.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

I hate to say this but the goal was Rio Ferdinand's mistake.Remember against Newcastle,on how instead of heading the ball away,Rio puts his leg up to block Shearer's header from a corner, only to have the Newcastle captain to catch Rio's Total 90s'? This was an exact carbon copy,a goal at that too.I'm a defender and I analyse every Rio's game very well. This goal was an example on Rio's weakness in the air.He waited instead of reacting,Ferguson however, reacted and attacked the ball.Neville should be punished for what he did,not ifs and buts about it,for sure, utter disgrace.I cant believe a seasoned professional like himself could loose his head at that moment,he should learn from Rooney. We are vaporising real quick arent we?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Overall though, your defence is excellent, its in attack thats let you down this season. I mean, 48 goals!! You are never going to win the league with a total like that!

And here I am thinking that one of of Ferdinands great qualities is that he is strong in the air...?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Rio is great on the ground. Not in the air.

Thats partially right. Redondo joined on a half price because he turned 32 already with Real madrid and had a serious injury. On the same season Milan signed Javi Moreno for cheap, Cosmin Contra and Marco Simone from Monaco on a free. Pippo Inzaghi joined on an exchange deal for Christiano Zenoni. The biggest signing was Rui Costa for 26m pounds. Milan had to sell Commandini, Saudati and i think it was Ziege.

Redondo joined injured for 2 other years.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

United have never dealt well with big Dunc! Surley the answer last night was to put Heinze on him at set pieces! He is supposed to be the best header of the ball at the club?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

You know what? We deserved to lose seeing how shit we've been playing. Lets forget the Everton game and think about possible ways of being embarressed in the next match.
We are at our lowest point in over a decade.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Well today Sir Bobby Charlton has said Fergie wont ever be sacked and its only coz chelsea have spent so much that we havnt won the premiership this season. Blind old man cant see that we are 4 points behind Arsenal who havnt even spent much money at all and credit to them.

Director Sir Bobby Charlton has declared that Manchester United will never sack Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Red Devils may be through to an FA Cup final date with Arsenal but they suffered their second successive Premiership defeat on Wednesday, at Everton, and surely must have to settle for third place for the second season running.
A disappointing UEFA Champions League campaign was ended by Milan as United continued to fail to reach the latter stages of the competition they won in 1999.
Ferguson, for the first time in years, has faced some criticism from sections of the club's support, despite retaining the backing of the majority of fans, but Charlton says his job is completely safe.
"The only way we would ever be separated from Alex Ferguson is if he decides," Charlton told Sky Sports News.
"We have no plans.
"He is the best manager that has ever been, the most successful, certainly in England, and we have no reason to change."
The 1966 World Cup winner is in China promoting United's friendly with Beijing Hyundai on July 26.
Chief executive David Gill stirred some debate recently when admitting Ferguson was 'sackable', although he later insisted the comment was taken out of context.
"I think it's been an unusual season this year in as much as we've had Chelsea spend a lot of money," Charlton added.
"They've brought in really good players and been very successful. That's one of the reasons why we haven't maybe been successful.
"Without Chelsea, we might have been champions this year and there wouldn't be a problem."
