Manchester United Thread

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Kleb's bride idea
Kleberson has revealed why he is struggling at Manchester United — he uses his teenage bride as a coach. The Brazilian midfielder, 25, admits taking tips from 17-year-old wife Dayane. Kleberson has yet to earn a regular place in the team since a £6million move from Paraneanse last year. And he admitted: “I have my wife as a coach. She knows a lot about football. She is always saying: ‘You have to shoot there, you have to pass there’. So before every game I speak with her.” Kleberson insists the couple are adapting to English life. He joked: “I’m getting used to drinking cups of tea every day.”

And now he's blaming his wife. We need to sell this guy.

A bad news from our last game is that Ruud might not be fit enough for the West Brom game. I hope we don't need him cuz usually, when he's not playing, we can't get the ball into the net. Lets hope he can atleast come on as a sub.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

SCHOLESY!!! hes back!!! what a goal for his second of the season and persistence pays off handsomely on the second.

we re making our way back up again

That is funny that kleber is taking lessons from a 14 year old girl. lol I cant believe we have a 25 year old pedo in our team.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

We screwed Arsenal good didnt we?

Its so funny to see, however DONT want Chelsea winning the league by a massive margin!

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

We have a chance to strike another blow to Arsenal (although the youngsters) on Wednesday night.

I expect us to line up something like this:

GK) Howard
DR) Spector/Djemba-Djemba/Phil Neville
DL) Fortune
DC) O'Shea
DC) Brown/Pique
MR) Bellion/Miller/Eagles
ML) Richardson
MC) Kleberson
MC) Djemba-Djemba/Miller/Fletcher
FW) Smith
FW) Bellion/Rossi

It should be a good game.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

I'd expect our bench to have some first team players just in case cuz this is a game Sir Alex would want to win to pile the pressure on Wenger.

I would add Ronaldo and Rooney into this mix.It should be a crackin game as youngsters would be more hungry to win it for us.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

alright i was put down when i commented that perhaps united and arsenal will be fielding "youth" teams, and i quickly corrected myself saying that perhaps the two sides will be putting out their "reserves" because technically thats what arsenal have been doing.

now im hearing things like ronaldo and rooney are candidates for subsitutes in a match that would benefit the likes of ebanks-blake and rossi?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

i prefer this:
gk) howard
dr) brown
dc) o'shea
dc) spector/pique
dl) fortune

mr) miller/fletcher/eagles
mc) fletcher/djdj
mc/ kleberson
ml) richardson

sc) smith
sc) rossi/bellion

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Do you guys think our new formation applies to our reserves team? I hope they will use the same tactics and formation against the Goons as we do have the players to utilise the formation.

4-3-2-1
Here are the strongest first XI in my opinion.
Reserves

Carroll
Spector
P.Neville
Kleberson
Rossi
Ebanks Blake
Rooney
Ronaldo.

--------------------------------Howard------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------Pique--------------------O'Shea-----------------------
----Brown-----------------------------------------------------Fortune----
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------Djemba Djemba------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------Miller-------------------------Fletcher-------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----Eagles-------------------------------------------------Richardson----
-----------------------------------Smith-----------------------------------

This team selection would be better and safer to use if we want to win.

--------------------------------Howard------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------Keane--------------------O'Shea---------------------
----Brown-----------------------------------------------------Fortune----
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------Djemba Djemba------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------Fletcher-------------------------Miller/Kleberson-------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----Ronaldo-------------------------------------------------Rooney------
-----------------------------------Smith-----------------------------------

with Pique coming on for Keane, Eagles for Fletcher and either Rossi or Sylvan Blake.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Great weekend for Us all round, we seem to back in the winning habit, the midfield is starting to score at the right times and we look hard to breakdown.

After a rocky start we're up to 4th, in the knockouts of The CL in the 1/4's of The League Cup, not bad really.

What was with Ruuds shirt when he scored the other day ?

Earlier in the game a defender pulled it and ripped it. Of course the referee decided that shirts automatically rip themselves, so didn't give a penalty.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

to be perfectly honest, darren purse and ruud were having a go at each other all match long. i felt the referee was smart in not rewarding any penalties as that probably wouldve resulted in more "fergie bribed the ref" shite again.

im extremely happy with the way things panned out this weekend, a great way to head into another clash against the arse in the fa cup

Here we have a great example of a glory UTd fan, doesn't even know what competition they are playing in next. :)

lol did you know that palace had a better support at OT than the pitiful number that the arse wipes are bringing tomorrow, so where are the extra 30k fans coming from after all these years, surely they are not only now just getting interested in arsenal......

lol its to do with the rise in popularity of football in general hence your average attendance figures in 1988-89 season being 36,000.

also got attendance of 50K during spell in 2nd div, whats ya point...

OT has always been around the 50K capacity, so the supports always been there, (even with some reds being from down south they still make the trip) compare that to the sudden 100% increase goons support and you'll see the definition of glory boys.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Amazingly Wenger is gonna use video evidence to prove RVN is a cheat.

So he sees everything that other players do but not what his own do.

As Fergie told him "look after your own fuckin players!"

It seems as though we've really got under his skin, the events that happened after we beat them embarrased the club (LOL @ wearing "50 not out T-shirts") yeah fergie may have had some food thrown at him but the people who did that got dealt with, and by the younger players lol!!

So sort it out Whinging Wenger, a good team is all well but Cloughie (legend) described them as nothing more than brats, and on current form its painfully obvious.

If the balance of power had AGAIN (yeah yeah, heard it all before) moved to north london, then why has it been so hard for wenger to take.....

maybe cos it was bollocks.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Hey Vann, while Wenger is digging out the RVN footage from the archives, do you think he accidentley "miss" the Pires dive against Portsmouth?
