Manchester United Thread

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

there aren't many occasion in which i support man yoo. but tonight is one of those occasions. i bet the bastards lose now.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

fenerbahce goalkeeper rustu was the one quoted saying that United are not the team of the old and that no one worries about going to OT anymore. He also had the cheek to point out the Rooney is too inexperienced and he is yet to prove himself on th champions league stage, also that RVN isnt a worry coz he still is carryin injury and said that Alan smith is no threat.

I cant wait to see rooney unleased unto rustu like a pitball for that slimball to eat his words.it will be an exciting game to watch tonight and i cant wait.

Also i dont hear alot of credit for the way heinze has been playing and how quickly he has settled into the defence. while everybody has been praising rio, heinze for me is another key man in my book for United aswell as wes brown on the right bk, i think brown is a solid tackler.

Yeah, you are right, it was Rustu. I hope we put a few past him, then he`ll eat his words.

Yeah I was at Ronaldo`s debut (we all remember that cameo) but I`m gonna have to miss tonight, no cash. Man, I hope Rooney starts, too, you are gonna be in for a wild atmosphere tonight - I was there when we lost to Fenerbahce 8 years ago, their supporters make a lot of noise.

Also Vann, was you at the L`pool game this season? I fookin` missed it. Caught it on Sky Sports, though.

Nah I missed that aswell, had to work so I gave my book to a mate, listened to it on CenturyFM though.

should be good tonite, quite a few of us going, saw loads of turks in town having a look round, you know for all the games we host during a CL campaign there is never a bit of trouble, in fact the only bother I've seen was a battle between a few mancs V sum gobby (suprise suprise) cockney reds.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Yeah, I have never seen trouble at a Champions League match - we all mingle before and after the game, although the Turks are being a bit cocky tonight, saying they`ll beat us again. We`ll see . . .

Whats ya job, Vann?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

ROONEY!! ROONEY!! AND RUSTU, if he wasn't scared of the red devils before, he is now!!

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Rooney with 2 goals, Giggsy with 1, United are cruising, its half-time, I`m half-cut on Bacardi, L`pool are losing, its all good in the United camp . . . Oh, who said Rooney was overrated, did you see his goals!?!? Oh my fookin`God . . .

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Come on, I want a huge victory, give the boys some confidence back. Anyone watching, are we really playing this well? I'm watching scorecast on uefa.com and they're loving it! How good is Rooney? Can't wait to see goals later on highlight show...damn USA and not showing the game or highlights cause its on ESPN deportes later...

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

SHIT! That was amazing!
What kind of a debut is that?! CLASS!
Great performance all round. And with this defence (finally) I'm starting to feel better when we're on the defence.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

That's quite a performance from young Wayne. Lovely free-kick. More to come I wonder?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Why didnt alex fergie take rooney off towards the end?! djemba djemba is shite GET HIM OUT! at least klebeson is trying.

Rooney was just unbelievable he is magic, and rooney and ronaldo are still yet to play together.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Rooney wasnt magic at all

he scored 3 goals, and yes 2 of they were great

apart from these he gave the ball away a lot

he has lots to learn but he is still great

Are you crazy! scoring 3 great goals on your debut for your new club which is one of the biggest clubs in the world at 18 is magic in my book especially considering all the antipation and build up to just see him in a united shirt. At 18, the boy is magic performing like that with all that pressure on his shoulders.

And then we get people like you saying petty nonsense like he gave the ball away alot after more or less winning the game for United.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

We were lucky tonight, I admit. Rooneys hat-trick was a fluke, Fenerbahce were brilliant, and the ref was bias towards us. Ha ha ha ha ha! As for Rustu, "Fook You, ya dirty Turk!" That is what you get for saying no team dreads coming to Old Trafford anymore. "What does it feel like to concede 6 goals, mate!?!?" Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. Great night.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Rooney= :shock:
That 2nd goal he scored is becoming a trademark of his which is quite the compliment for someone who's only been playing for 2 years. Holy shit. I knew that free kick was going in as soon as he got the ball. Even if Clive Tyldesley does get a LITTLE too excited over him (his biased towards United is a disgrace, even I can say that).
Giggs and Van Nistelrooy's goals where fantastic btw.
Can't wait for the Arsenal match. Ronaldo and Rooney together is just frightening and I love it.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

yes i never doubted rooney is one of the best players in the world, and he will probably be the best striker england will ever have

but i dont think he gave a "magical" performace at all

if he can do this week in week out against a decent opposition then fair play to him

he still has lots to learn tho

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha  I`m guessing you are 14-18 years old, and you are a big Arsenal/Liverpool fan, yes? 3 goals, and a mature performance ON YOUR DEBUT IN A UNITED SHIRT, IN A CHAMPIONS LEAGUE game isnt magic? Mate, are you blind?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

This kid hasn't really played since Euro 2004, yet here he is debuting in CL match and scoring a hat-trick!
Ruud's goal was fucking AMAZING.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

i'm guessing your a big head utd fan who will get whats comin to him.

it wasnt a magical performance and why are you bringing blind people into this you sadistic freak

Why are you twisting his words?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Ok, but if Liverpool had beaten Olympiakos 6-2 tonight could you have POSSIBLY got carried away and used the word "magical" in the description of their performance?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Kevano you really are a plum mate, sit down and think abut wot a twat u r being.

last time this kid kicked a ball he broke hi foot 96 DAYS AGO!!! his 1st game back and he scores a superbly taken HATtrick in his DEBUT game for a new club and makes the 6th goal and that not magic!!! stop being silly now ok!!

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

yeh ok, im being a twat for stating the truth, that it wasnt magical, grow up and speak english

i guess ill be off sitting up a tree for a bit with my "plum" like features

your so childish it's unbelivable, get over it

yes ive said rooney is good, i knew it when i seen him as a kid at everton playin the youth games etc

it was not a magical performance

oh and its Kevano22
