Really? Any chance he will play?

What about Ronaldo? I heard that he has a hernia problem and is unlikely to start?

You mancs feel that you are still favourites for this one? I think that we may take some more points off you this season too.

We aint favourites for anything anymore with the injuries but footballs a funny game e might trounce you 4-0 or we might get trounce you never know.

Ronaldo will probably be rested but hey he needs it BADLY!

Feck me more injuries!!

Heinze will have to play, and good to see Ruud will be on the bench.

Hopefully Keano will be back in midfield. Gotta beat bolton, gettin way too big for thier boots at the mo ;)

My biggest worry is our CL game against Lyon, they are doing well even without the injured Elber (sp?) its gonna be a real tough game and we'll probley get turned over if we dont get our act together real soon, as in tomorrow!!

At least in the next two weeks we'll have some world class players coming back in Rooney Ruud and Rio so although its bleak at the mo we surely cant get any worse.....can we.

So c'mon lads beat these feckin bumpkins tomoz!!!

On another note official application has been made to start construction (2005) on adding the 7500 extra seats to OT. Interesting to see how this works out, with 12000 being turned away for every home game filling it wont be a problem but if the board are pumping £45mill into it I wanna know where that extra money is coming from, obviously it'll be from the supporters, but in what capacity is my question...

Whats good to see is the clubs vision for the future, obviously they are keen to see us remain Englands biggest club and 70K+ seater ground is gonna keep us firmly ahead of the pack of wannabees.

yeah, excited about the build-up...lolz

well, Ruud on the bench...i doubt he will play and i think that Fergs will want to keep him for the CL game wednesday...it's WAY more important...

as for Ronaldo...he NEEDS REST!!! so i hope that he's on the bench or not even at Reebok Stadium tomolo!!!

Chelsea just drew against Villa. Hopefully this is the turn around that we're waiting for. More players are starting to come back and in just 2 weeks, we'll have more or less everyone available.

9 points behind Arsenal DAMM!

Well Heinze scored so i am happy as Rio is back in a week so its all good!

What style! What drama! I can't believe what just happened. Silvest is like a high-schooler with no future  And Bellion's goal is as hillarious as ferdinands. Classic game

Aint seen the game so did Heinze play in the centre?

Whos fault was the goal?

Heinze played at left-back. He had a good game overall. Got tired near the end though (understandably so).

The goal was of circus proportions, with Silvestre as the ringleader.

A ball was pumped into our box, Howard went up to catch it with Ferdinand, Heinze and Silvestre all breathing down his neck. He flapped at it. He then went to collect the ball on the ground...but Silvestre had other ideas. Silvestre kicked the ball away from Howard. So Howard went to get the ball again, but it again hit off Silvestre. Then Howard and Silvestre bumped into eachother, and Ferdinand had a tap-in.

So its down 2 Silvestre then?

We need you Rio the 20th cant come soon enough!

great start for Heinze i must say...and Ruud's come back was ok, but for sure he wasn't 100% back yet...he will be back intot top shape by next week i feel...and Ronaldo's shot after he came on...  TOTALLY WOKE ME UP!!!

and yeah, that 2nd goal...sheesh...Silverstre has had it...once Ferdinand is back, he can have fun sitting on the bench!!!

and same with the Bellion goal...just complete jokes with the keeper and player...just so angry after the game!!

Indeed, Silvestre's really getting on my tits at the moment but he was brilliant alongside Rio.
Ferdinand better be fucking playing how he was last season, we desperately miss him.

Christ. :( + :x = Silvestre

I want to adopt Ronaldo though. If that shot had gone in I would have creamed my pants.

Shit. That Ronaldo is actually getting better every game. Did you see what he did to Campo before that shot? His dribbling and tricks are getting a bit too good for someone his age. Can't wait to see him play a full match soon, if that's possible considering his condition.

Gazz22 should have said:

Silvestre then executed a fantastic clearance header that diverted the hopeful cross 10 feet into the air and six feet behind him. Howard then flapped at it. :)

aaah much better, thanks for the clear up

:x bloody hell... no communication at all and silvestre will have to be talked to. he was a spectator throughout the entire second half. im not a fan, but i thought he was decent in the first half. but then he just self-destructed (again)

these are my efforts to get rid of silvestre and substitute him permanently with johnathon spector!!

Im soryy but silvestre needs to be dropped now and i will be very angry to see him starting the next game for us. We cant have players making school boy mistakes week in and out,he had a terribla game yesterday.

If he does start i reckon fergie should play him on the left, with heinze in the centre coz heinze is more solid and confident. Also im not liking kleberson or djemba djemba one bit as they seem to hide themselves on the pitch and are reluctant to get stuck in,but i hope they prove me wrong.

Van the man looked really rusty, hopefully he can find his sharpness soon.Overall not happy with 1 win out of 6 games and am getting a bit worried with the quality of our players in midfield.

i cant believe it! o'shea, silvestre, brown now has turned into a s**t defender!! also we need to drop t-ho! he needs to have confidence!! if SAF wanna use Carroll as GK for l'pool game, i wish 2 things!! get a clean sheet and win the game!!

To be fair to Howard, would you have a lot of confidence if Silvestre and Brown were in front of you? ;)

spector should have played against bolton. i have trust in him more than i do in silvestre

Neville --- Ferdy --- Spector(Heinze) -- Heinze(Spector)

If we beat Liverpool that would give us a huge confidence boost for the coming games.

I think we'll fair ok against this new look Liverpool side (though it will be a very hard game). One reason why we have a good record against the big teams is; teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle try to play good football and also try to get behind our defence. Now one thing our defence has a lot of is pace. Now compare that to your Boltons/Evertons/Lesser teams. These "lesser teams" chase every lost cause and put our defence under pressure, and as you clearly saw against Bolton...we don't like pressure very much. But give Silvestre/G.Neville time on the ball and we could hurt teams.

Just my opinion. ;)
