Hernandez making his early season critics look like fools. Sell Chicharito!

Can't keep doing this comeback thing though, it's exhausting.

We've exhausted the 'comeback'

I can't be the only one when we go down in these games says "We'll Comeback", when mocked by ABU's

When the 3rd goes in.

Well you can fault the quality of certain areas of this squad or some of Fergie's team selections but one thing you can't fault is the spirit of this team.

Agreed, it's whats keeping us ahead at the minute. Surely we've been the most entertaining team from a neutral perspective this year, guaranteed to score as well as to concede.

RVP pulls out of the Dutch Squad :ANX: hopefully nothing serious.

Hoping RVP has 'Giggs-itis' for these international friendlies.

Am I the only one that feels like there have been far more international breaks this season than normal? It literally feels like once a month.

I think Fergie has money on City winning the league. Only explanation of starting Giggs and Park last season at the Etihad, and starting Giggs twice this season.

39 year old winger plays badly in central midfield shock.

I think we were hurt at the thought that because of last season we can't do comebacks anymore.

So we're now told to go behind in every game we can.

Somewhere along the line we were always gonna get caught out, looks like this is it.

Norwich getting win and 4th consecutive clean sheet in a row... By the looks of it.

We haven't really endangered their goalie despite going All out attack...

Heh played well defensively... Norwich. God damn it.

Ferguson still plays Lindegaard instead of De Gea. Giggs... And Chicharito looks better off bench than straight from KO. Maybe use him like Solskjaer as impact super sub?

Just a thought...

Someone needs to give Ferguson some hairdryer treatment. Either that or get in an assistant who can do the thinking for Ferguson.

Giggs, after tonight I have one thought: Retire. Please. You have done enough, but you cannot play on high level anymore :(. Sad, but you take younger players place in squad who could offer more :/.

And one more: Ruddy > Joe Hart.

I'm not the least bit surprised. As I've been harping on for 18 months now, Ferguson no longer does tactics.

Giggs needs to retire, because if he doesn't, Fergie is still going to play him, out of position, for 90 minutes. It's just like Neville.

We've been winning in spite of Fergie this season. As we did for large chunks of last season.

I believe we have a very strong squad outside of central midfield, and some wonderful youth, and hopefully we can bring in someone new to take the helm at the end of this season.

I obviously love Ferguson and he is literally the best manager in history, but tactically he's been woeful for a couple years at least now.

Even though we've strung results together, we've not played great football since 2008-09.

This isn't knee jerk - I've been saying this for ages. Last year his tactics, formations and substitutions were completely non-sensical.

I have no doubt he's still a force to be reckoned with in the dressing room, but that only takes you so far. We just showed up in a crucial away game with no game plan, a formation that was obvious and easy to setup against and all he changed (in the 70th minute) was to throw on some attacking players and hope for the best.

The worst part of today is that Norwich really weren't any good. I'm fine when we lose to an inspired performance (see Wigan last year, or Everton this year) but Norwich were dull, uninspired and aside from a single moment of sheer class (great header) created nothing.

Our best chance was a backwards header from Bassong.

Fergie has obviously earned some leeway, but I thought he was poor last season and hasn't gotten any better this year.

We've been outplayed for at least a half in every single match this year, against some really, really poor teams.

Giggs and Carrick made Hoolahan look like a spanish international in the first half

Yep. People will say United fans are spoiled and making these comments on hindsight - but the internet basically exploded when that team sheet came out.

We all knew it would it would be terrible - because it always is - and yet, with a completely meaningless game midweek - we don't see Anderson or Cleverley.

Only a matter of time til Ando does a 'Pogba' and get's annoyed at his treatment. A 39 year old winger ahead of him in the middle? And a 39 year old winger who hasn't had good game since Chelsea in the CL almost 2 full years ago?

I'd think about leaving to.

Carrick has been really poor this season and pairing him with Giggs or Scholes in a two-man midfield is just a ludicrous idea.

I was bored , watching this game. What is it w/ these teams that sit back 98% and attack 2%. I love the commentator`s sound bite "RVP looks like a baby giraffe trying to connect the volley, Oh! My!"

:LMAO:

Same problem we've had for years. Nothing new. It's the reason we bought Kagawa.

And you have to give credit where it's due - Norwich only created that one chance and that header was perfect.

A day later and still disappointed with Fergie. I guess it is worth noting that we were missing Vidic, De Gea, Nani, Rooney and Kagawa - all of whom would probably start in a first choice XI. But that team was good enough to beat a very negative Norwich.

The later three are important when it comes to coming inside and creating things, We should have gone 4-3-3 with either Anderson or Giggs as the link to Hernandez (RVP Wide)

A little bit worried about our motivation heading into tonight having already qualified, motivation seems to be a problem for us in general considering how many times we've gone behind this season. But I think a good result is important if only to get the weekends loss out of our system.

Gutted about Kagawa, I want him back and adapting to our game as quickly as possible, we'll need him.

Well the fact that bookmakers have Galatasaray as +103 favorites while a bet on United would pay almost 3 times as much (+272) tells you who they think will win!

Motivation, travelling to Turkey against a team you barely beat in Old Trafford, youngsters, against a team that is very motivated to win to progress, yes United are definitely underdogs tonight but if any team can do it, it is them. I'm sure Sir Alex will point out to the youngsters and some of the other players getting their chance that a performance is required and that his is THEIR CHANCE to show they should be part of the team.
