Don't think that's real...

What a bad attempt at Photoshop!
At least his fingers and his neck/head should've had the same skin tone ffs. :D

now it's said that he'll earn £235K a week at ManU. god, this is one helluva wasted transfer. can even match with Torres' to Chelski. RvP is not a fuckin legendary player and never has been. I can't stand to EPL sometimes.

No way is that the case. He'll be on AT BEST the same as Rooney - even that I doubt. So around the £150k a week number. A good bump for him to be sure, but he won't be up there with Tevez/Toure/Torres/Aguero as highest paid in the league.

Wayne is on £220k.. And his personal terms in negotiating was to match the highest earner at the clubs wage.

------------------- De Gea -----------------

Rafael --- Ferdinand --- Vidic ---------- Evra

----------- Cleverley - Carrick -----------

----- Nani -------- Rooney ------- Kagawa ---

----------------- Van Persie ---------------

That is some front 4.

that is not true! 150k, you said 160k last week. Next, your say 14ok , but the wage bill will soon confirm it. Arsenal offer 130k plus 5m. I`m sure if Rvp askd, for 150k they would of gave it.Not at 4 yrs though.

Rvp was great but still fail to win the carling cup, the reality is he can`t play Spurs every week.

Where was that confirmed? I thought it was £160k a week?

Damn, hoping we weren't going to blow out our wage structure, especially not on a 29 year old...

Also, how on Earth do you know RvPs personal terms?!

I believe United are their best when they have both Nani an Valencia playing.. Try making that work with Kagawa, Rooney and RvP all still involved!

Also Beachryan sorry I forgot the RUMOURED part of that, RvP wa reported a saying in an interview that who ever he joins he believes he deserves to be a top earner.. So his terms in the negotiations would have been to match the top earner, which at United is Rooney on £220k per week, which was confirmed after he threw his toys out the pram and demanded a transfer before he got his huge pay rise.

SAF would (I believe) pay anything to combine RvP and Rooney up front, so £220k is most likely what he got, but once the terms are confirmed we will know the truth unless Robin doesn't want to disclose the personal terms in which case it's all smoke in the air :)

Seem to recall Rooney being made the highest paid player in the Prem with his new contract.

Another Myth :P

Nani produces more Goals/Assists which means he provides a telling contribution more often thus more consistent, unless you mean he'll fuck up a pass in the 2nd minute before scoring a thunderbolt in the 13th then yes he's inconsistent just like Ronaldo still is under those terms.

Hmm; be that as it may, Valencia is more willing to contribute constantly all over the pitch including defensive responsibilities while Nani shuns then a lot of the time.. Plus Nani tends to contribute in bursts, then have a quiet spell, then another burst.. Valencia had a nice even spread.. At least that's how it seems, I haven't considered going back over the year to see if that's true or just a perception.

Either way, I would pick either of them over Ashley Young, I can't stand him.

“It’s an honour to sign for Manchester United. I am looking forward to following in the footsteps of so many great strikers, bringing my experience and playing my part to help the team compete for the biggest trophies in the game. I can’t wait to get started.”

Robin van Persie. 17th August 2012.

Its finally done.
It will take a while to sink in, perhaps seeing him in our kit against Everton on Monday will help a little.
Robin van Fuckin Persie.
Happy days ahead.

Yea Velancia and Nani both have different great qualities but Valencia shades it for me. I also believe he would link up better with RVP alot better than Nani (Think Walcott but with a miles better end product) my saliva glands are going ten to the dozen at the thought of it. I just hope RVP isnt another Berba in terms of fitting in, which I just cant see though

Properly weird seeing him in training.

Nani clearly doesn't trust him as he's wearing body armour.

I agree but are options have widened recently so its not even that simple with Kagawa and RVP.

Valencia is better defensively agreed but Nani's no slouch by any means and my perception for what I want from a Winger, Nani's defensive game is fine considering his threat going forward. I personally think against bottom half table teams Valencia at RB sounds drool worthy with Nani ahead of him.

In terms of link up play, surely you gotta thing Nani is better? Valencia is great for swinging in those crosses but in terms of bringing creativity and one touch passing Nani was probably the best in the squad at it prior to signing Kagawa. (Nani/Kagawa linking up is :...)

Fergie has confirmed United are looking for at least one more signing, if a certain player becomes available?
It's obviously someone thinking of leaving their club, or at a low club that may consider leaving for United.. Any ideas?

Baines? Though Everton don't need to sell seeing as how they got £15m for Rodwell.

In van Persie we finally have someone with a much more deadly free-kick than Rooney.. Though bets on for the first "I want to take this one" bitch and moan over a PK or FK this year!

Ugh. Smalling, Jones and Evans all still out - only Evans has started training. But, Rafael and Evra are back from the summer, so the boss is hopeful of them being alright to slot straight in. Team for Monday likely:

-----------------De Gea----------------
--Rafael-----Rio-----Vida------Evra----
-----------Carrick---Scholes-----------
-----Valencia----Kagawa---------Nani---
-----------------Rooney----------------

With RvP to make an entrance at some state. Possibly Cleverley in there for Kagawa too.
Either way, if that team stays fit, it's pretty serious.
