Me think he is doing this to get more money than Rooney, if he is not already.

I think maybe City have made a slight rod for their own backs. Letting Robinho go to Santos on loan to get matches under his belt before the world cup was admirable in a way, but then him throwing a strop and engineering an exit (move to Milan) didn't cast Man City in a great light.
Similarly letting Bellamy go to Cardiff (and subsidising his wages) is admirable in terms of allowing a player to be with his family etc, but it has smacks of lunacy in terms of appearing to cave into players.
Perhaps Tevez now thinks he will be allowed to move to Boca on loan (with City presumably having to pay 90% of his wages) and wishes to do that. But it seems strange that he wants to play at Boca for the rest of his career. The Argentine league is very exciting to watch, but he could be putting his career with the National team at risk. Boca arent the force they were 5-10 years ago, and there is no garentee they will make the Libertadores (or even Sudamericana) each year - other clubs like San Lore, Lanus, Estudiantes, Independente etc are looking stronger, and even then more and more Argentines are starting to move to Brazil, as economically they are very strong at the moment (e.g. D'Alessandro, Dario Concha, German Herrera, Pato, Guinazue, De Federico, Ezeqi Gonzalez, half the Cruzeiro squad...) Would he be risking losing his place to the likes of Aguero, Lavezzi, Higuain, maybe even Jara ?
Higuain is an out and out nine and hopefully he comes back the same player from this tricky herniated disc setback.
Tevez is in direct competition with Aguero and Lavezzi and on he fringes Zarate if he could grow up.
Personally I think Tevez has lost a lot of subtlety in his play and I'd have Aguero and Lavezzi who has learnt to be a team player over him any day of the week.
Checho has a place reserved for him but on the bench at present.
We'll just wait and see. Forgive my cynicism but it all once again stinks of money.
How much do players really need to live on ? It's obscene.
Balotelli said:'What's his name? Wil...? No, I just don’t know him, but the next time I play against Arsenal I'll try to be careful,' said the Italy international. 'Maybe I could show him the Golden Boy trophy and remind him that I won.'
