for both things you are right..but we have new owners now, we don´t have clue how much we can afford to pay on wages...

maybe we could cover his wages, who knows..?

He made a very good impression on me, but so did Jovanovic...
Our competition is very weak.
On the other hand both Kompany and Fellaini played in the Jupiler League. Mavinga is not that outstanding, but he only played 10 or 12 matches...

To be honest i really don't know...

I think not all our loaned players are without a chance..with the new way of thinking in to future, buying young players.. i think we could see Pacheco, Ayala and maybe Coady, Amoo or even Mavinga play for us next season...

we already saved milions imo, with promoting Kelly + Flanagan and Robinson.. Spearing might have us saved money we would spend on other midfielder..

i´m not sure with Aquilani and especialy Insua..but the rest i think might not leave the club soon...

it all depends on our transfer window..

Mavinga just won the title with Racing Genk. In the match against Standard (who could also have won the title) Mavinga broke Carcela's nose and jawbone...but i haven't seen images and don't know if he did it on purpose.

It is awful, but afterwards everybody agreed that it was never his intention to do this. Even the Standard players recognised this. Mavinga got a yellow card, but that is it and everybody agrees that it was unintentional (but clumsy).
Carcela has a broken nose, a broken and seriously dislocated jaw bone (he needs surgery this dislocation) and he lost 5 teeth.

Mavinga played a rather unlucky match: he injured Carcela and Standard scored because he couldn't control a ball that came rather unlucky in his direction.

Carcela's injury was a turning point in the match...

I've just realised something else, I can't half be slow sometimes :LOL:

If Aquilani stays here, then we get a very good player. But he's probably going to go, so I imagine we're going to get £12m or so for him, plus free up his wages.

On top of the money we have to sign players anyway, and players like Konchesky and Cole to be sold, I'd completely forgotten about Aquilani probably leaving.

I read earlier that a St Ettiene fansite is reporting that we've had a bid of €9m for Matuidi turned down.

St. Etienne probably want around $13M or so for him and around $18M for Payet to let them leave. No less.

Also they hate Comolli. Are they gonna do business with him? we'll see... if Liverpool were only club interested and willing to pay big, they'd have to... but they're not.

So that would be about 25mil by selling those players. Don't think I rated them too highly, could fetch more with some good deals.

Another point the list shows, we have zero wingers. The midfield has one AM (Maxi) with the rest all being CM-ers.

Shelvey, Lucas and obviously Gerrard are AM's naturally though.

Also we've got Degen, Insua and El Zhar out on loan and will all probably be sold.

either you need creative players who can create space by beating a man with a trick or two, quick one touch team passing to be able to get through teams or you have natural fast tricky wingers to give you the width to get in behind teams

we have lacked both

still think its prehistoric.the traditional "hugging touchline wingers".lok at barca-none,real-none,inter-none,milan-none,bayern-well,ribery and robben always looking to cut in,arsenal-none,chelsea-none,i could go on but you catch my drift.with suarez on our left side of attack,an aguero,hazard,or someone lke that on the right is the way to for me.and would also have kuyt in centre as all three can interchange.carrol can chill in boozer till required.

You need wingers to supply Carroll, you decided against a fluid frontline when you signed him.

Champions of england and CL finalists 2011 have them.. ;)

I think we need to get back to simple football, and looking on Kenny prefeur 442, i think it´s needed to have those two wingers upgrade from Maxi / Meireles, becouse this were used as wingers lately.

Tbh they maybe aren't touchline wingers, but they are players that will go past a player on the line and put a good cross in, aswell as attack and score. Liverpool only have Suarez who can actually beat a man, other then him no-one.

All the succesfull teams have had "wingers" who can go past a player and make something happen, whether they are old skool touchline ones (Valencia, Lennon, etc) or modern ones (Ronaldo, Nani, Malouda) complemented with attacking fullbacks. Most of them have had atleast 2, maybe 3 players that can just beat a man from nothing and atleast one, or even two attacking fullbacks. Utd have Evra and now the twins with Nani, Valencia en Rooney, Chelsea have/had A.Cole, Bosingwa with Malouda, Drogba and Anelka. Liverpool have Johnson and Suarez...

As for Carrol, I think his definition of the role he playes needs to be clarified before making comparisons (Berbatov has far, far more skill and overal is a far better striker, however as a targetman he is pretty flawed imo (not sure how good he is as a frontline striker getting on the end of crosses...)) And whether he is good enough will be seen next season imo, he's looked like both a donkey and a very dangerous striker within the space of two games so let's just see.

Berbatov is fantastic, but i'm not sure if United is the right team for him. Berbatov is the player Arsenal need as a CF.

the guy is just pure technique...

and a lfc supporter doesnt rate him, really, doesnt rate the guy who scored a hat-trick on his beloved team...

hey Vannizzl.. if he told he don´t rate him has all the right to not rate him..why do you search behind that with another obsession thinking towards our club?

i think he has technique, indeed...but there is matches he looks lazy as hell, not making anything.. yes, i know striker needs to score, but he´s static striker imo.. most of the time..

besides who gives a damn if he scored against us loool... should we all praise him now or what? i would not replace him with any of our strikers, not even Kuyt

i was questioning if someone doesnt rate the top striker in the league cos of who he plays for....

And no, I'm not biased enough to not rate someone just because of their team. Don't believe me? See how much I've praised Hernandez.

Top striker in the league :LMAO: Even your own supporters aren't convinced by him but that's fine, you'll only pipe up when a Liverpool fan doesn't rate him.

Not every Liverpool supporter gives a damn about United belive me... please consider that as an opinion before you judge the answers or posts of Liverpool supporters..

I think you have great team, now let´s challenge for the title next season.. other things are to me childish..
