Bonkers convict Jonathan Lee Riches has filed for a temporary restraining order against Take-Two, Rockstar, and the "newest Grand Theft Auto games", claiming inmates who played the titles will knock him out and steal his "gold Jesus cross".

The 31 year-old law-breaker ended up behind bars for committing identity theft, which is another thing he blames the successful games for.

"Plaintiff seeks a restraining order against the newest Grand Theft Auto games," wrote Riches.

"Defendants contributed to Plaintiff committing identity theft. Defendants games shows [sic] sex, drugs, and violence which offends me.

"Defendants put me in prison. I face imminent danger from violent inmates who played Grand Theft Auto who will knock me out and take my gold Jesus cross," he added.

Riches also filed against Activision claiming its games "promotes [sic] violence and hate and racism in prison", which makes him fear for his own life. Atari, another of his targets, has sexually explicit games that offend him as well.

Interestingly, Riches has been denied access to videogames while in prison, which he feels is discrimination.

Jonathan Lee Riches has filed more than 1500 lawsuits this year, according to GameSpot. Our favourite was his attempt to win USD 63 billion from an NFL star, claiming the Football player had ties to Al Qaeda after he was linked to an illegal dog fighting operation.

He has also unsuccessfully filed suits against Christian Slater, Star Wars, Martha Stuart, George W. Bush, Steve Jobs and Britney Spears, according to Wikipedia.

Sure hope so! With all the character customization supposedly on offer, it'd be great if you knew the Evo-Webbers were online due to them being dressed all as clowns driving around in a bus together causing havoc.

I said to Jay i hope there is a kind of Triathlon in GTA4

Meaning you start off racing in a car before getting to the river/sea and grabbing a boat for the second part and finally after the water chase you get to the other side and grab a chopper and fly the last leg

its has to be 2 in a team though so you have a driver and a shooter :))

Hearing on another forum guy phoned Tesco and getting stock in Thursday/Friday and they been given permission to sell Friday.

Still dont beleive they will myself but a phone call wont hurt Thursday night to see.

Zavvi told me to turn at 7am on Tuesday morning to get this game, there wouldnt be a point to me pre-odering.

Getting a little concerned now, my brow has broke sweat put it that way!!

Oh, damn. I wouldn't think people pre-ordered from Asda. I'm not sure many people around my area have consoles so I'm hopeful of getting a copy at midnight :)

Otherwise I'm off on Tuesday so I'll pop into town, I'm sure I'll find a copy somewhere.

With regards to when GTA IV will ship, all retailers are under strict instructions with the release date and so no copies will be leaving our warehouse until Monday and as usual they will be shipped via First Class Recorded Delivery.

To prepare such a vast quantity for shipping we will begin the processing of orders this weekend so you will receive an e-mail then stating your card has been charged. To prevent any problems with the shipping of your title please ensure your card details are up-to-date, have not expired and that you have sufficient funds available.

Was hoping to have it day before release like most other games i ordered but because they put this blocking thing on not possible. :((

Would of like them to sent it out Friday for possible delivery Saturday/Monday would of been great for weekend. :((

Can't believe this was supposed to come out in October. I'm glad it was delayed though. Only 1 week to go!

In the US, all new games and movies and music are released on Tuesdays...I forget why, so you guys are getting the tuesday release for once (usually the games over here in the US and over there in the UK/Europe are different by a few days to a few months)

I know this question's been asked before, but what system will you be getting this game for? I am having a hard time deciding on this one. I'm looking at graphics framerate wise and online. Not sure if there will be any difference.
