GTA IV - SPOILER THREAD!!

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

I liked Vice Cityi a lot, but San Andreas was just huge. The problem it had was that the best was towards the end, so you had to put some effort at the beggining to find later on how the game spanned through all the territory. The ending with the casinos, deserts, planes, rocket-flying, FBI, even a mission in Liberty city... and characters like that crazy spanish girl phoning you all the time to insult you... that was so inmense, so good... Maybe if they had put all that good stuff at the beggining most of the people would have enjoyed the game a lot more.

:w00t: Sounds like a totally different game i played...i didn't get anywhere near the end i got stuck on the plane missions and then just stopped

Happens to me every year with every GTA.

Saying that, it's started happening in every game, not just GTA. I must be losing patience as I get older. :(

I've swallowed my pride a bit more lately, I will play a game on "easy" just to get through it more quickly and with less frustration. There's so many good games now that it's not worth crucifying yourself over and over for some stupidly impossible mission. Get the game done and get onto the next one, that's my new philosophy.

...and if you really liked it, you can always tried harder later.

Use the cheats- replenish health/full weapons etc. I'd never have seen the casinos etc without them! Still very challenging in places as you cant cheat in the timed missions.

I'd recommend playing San Andreas (with cheats) in your PS3 till the end of April- best PS2 game by a mile imo!

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

I agree SA got better as you went along. Los Angels was shit, San Fran was cool and Las Vegas was the best.

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

I am really into real-life New York/New Jersey Mafia stuff (I am obsessed with Sopranos, Goodfellas is my fave movie ever, I have a painting ACTUALLY done by Henry Hill (ex-mafia member) and find organised crime quite honest & very clever (despite all the murdering and adultery) but I can't STAND hiphop "gangsta" wannabes which is why San Andreas grated after, erm, 10 minutes.

I had the same lame attempt experience with GTA:SA. The problem for people like me is that, it's indeed a different story, but the same gaming experience for the most part. -Maybe I gave up on the game too quickly?

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

Even though I've only watched TV Burp twice, I love Harry Hill! Completely agree hes better than Henry Hill, who's still alive.

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

Harry Hill's about as funny as walking into your parents room when they're having sex.

TAKE THAT BACK!!!

Harry Hill is Hilarious. You obviously haven't seen TV Burp - It is one of the best things on TV!!!

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

Someone's been traumatised.

Were they wearing clown suits? Did your dad say that was "custard pie" all over your mum?

He wont answer, he is too busy having flash backs and rocking backwards and forwards in a corner somewhere.

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

Woah there!!!

Thankfully, it never happened, and its not likely to now... but it happened to a friend of mine when we were younger and he didnt come out of it to well.

I think I'd like him if he didnt pull that face all the time and go 'Hmm hmm hmm hmm'. (Edit: Harry Hill, not my mate)

Apparently his standup shows are funny.

But anyway, I've never seen/heard/dreamed my parents having sex. Thanks.

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

Only on this forum could you go from Grand theft Auto - To Harry Hill and then Jumbertos parents having sex!!!

Its Priceless.

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

I got dragged along by a mate & saw Harry Hill in Swansea Grand Theatre 5 or 6 years ago. He was AWFUL, I can't stand the guy. His tv shows are rubbish too. He is in the same league as that racist guy who stands on stage with a pint of beer and slags off the French. Can't stand him either.

Anyway, when is the official release date for GTA IV?

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

Who is better - Harry Hill or Henry Hill?

THERES ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT!

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV

Even Henry Hill is funnier than Harry.

Apparantly, Harry Hill is a doctor.
