ok i think i manage to make the file ;)
now we need to see if it will work on a previusly saved game , hopefully it ill :)

edit: worked...
now i need to learn how can i get the defualt kits to show in the game? i had a kit pack installed , but its all the 0708 shirts...
i tried deleting the kits folder but now i dont see any shirts not evan the defaults.

There is a default kits folder, if you delete that then you'll delete all the kits altogether!

You can get new styles of default kits, have a look at places like SORTITOUTSI.
 
Ok. I'm playing as Fulham in the "pre season" of my 2nd season. Juan Roman Riquelme is transfer listed and it looks like I can get him for $13,250,000 million. My transfer budget is only $15,500,000. And I want to bring in a couple of more players. Do you think I should splash all the cash on Riquelme?
 
First off you need to have a solid backline, after all you cant lose a game if you don't concede ;))

If your defence is ok then the next thing is scoring, so then you need a playmaker like Riquelme and a striker that knows where the back of the net is

And you have just made me want to start playing FM again, Weegie here i come

It depends on what i said above, do you have a strong defence?

Buying Riquelme will weaken your team defensively so if your happy with your backline and DM if you have one he will be an awesome buy

I would buy him and bring in a few loans to cover the other players you need

My back line could be stronger, especially at LB. I'm happy with the keeper now. I have Toni Kallio and Brede Hangeland at CB. Volz at RB and Konchesky at LB.

Here's my starting eleven:

Tim Howard

Moritz Volz | Brede Hangeland | Toni Kallio | Paul Konchesky


Clint Dempsey | Jimmy Bullard | Leon Andreasen | Diomansy Kamara



Eddie Johnson/H Bouazza | Brian McBride

That's basically what I have been rolling with. I'm not looking for specific players being mentioned because I want to find them myself, but I do think I have a bunch of weak positions that could be improved. I guess I do need to start in defense. And I want a goto striker.

Well I offered Luis Jemeniz an offer and it was accepted. He was ready to sign but like I feared, I didn't have the money to sign him. So I delayed for one week and then 2 weeks. The third time I tried to delay, Ternana declined the offer. Now that I have money Ternana is delaying me and trying to get offers from other people. Argh.
 
It's soccer with a little American twist. I lost Jimenez to some other team and my team is struggling at the moment. I am 17th at the end of November. I did make the Euro Cup through qualifying through the Euro Vase. I have Panathanikos, PSG, Bochum and Getafe in my group.
 
Cunt of a game. I was doing alright at Tenerife, then got randomly sacked. Went to Leeds and did a stellar job and got them promoted, then we got relegated straight after which was inevitable and they don't renew my contract. I was desperate so went to Talavera, (yes, who exactly, some Spanish team full of cunts), and didn't win a game there after about 15 matches so have just walked away.

Will be starting a new game come Friday with the new Weegie update.
 
I finished work late last night and decided to make some new badges for the new season, God knows why because it was late as it was and I ended up staying awake until 4am getting them done. I don't know what it is with FM, you can work yourself to death on graphics, yet you play the game five minutes and the "tactic cracking" puts you off the game for another six months. Bit like PES editing used to be actually.

I've based them on Match of the Day, seeing as I watch that every week. There was already a template out but I've perfected it using a still of MotD from the weekend and added a few things. (There should be five clickable pictures there but ImageShack is being a bitch...)

I've got a similar addiction, but instead its editing the DB. I spend hours making it perfect, but after 1 hour of play, i realize that I hate the game and it just frustrates me. But its the only up to date football game I have access to. I hate you SI!!!

The problem with graphics is that if I download a certain logo set, I expect ALL teams to have the same set, by all teams I mean the 'main' teams, such as Serie A/B, Liga, France etc.
 
Same here Milanista, hence why I make a Photoshop action and apply it to all the logos.

I've got 20,000 logos and the same amount of kits too, all perfect and with the same effect on each so that there isn't one that looks out of place.
 
How do you get the pictures of the grounds in the background and where from and also do they change when you click on that team like they did back in the day on CM?
 
I was also wondering that CB :)). The best thing about the back in the day CM was it would show you a picture of the stadium that your game was being played at :DD.
 
If you go to your options there is a tick-box somewhere that says "show background pictures"; you can then download background packs with the config files and it can assign a picture to a team, a ground, a player... So when you click on a team the picture is shown in the background, but best of all, you can see the stadium you're playing at. Like the good old days.

I did mine myself but there's a lot of new grounds missed out, you're best to look at SORTITOUTSI.NET.
 
Thanks mate. Any chance of you uploading yours somewhere CB? Or is it too big? SUSIE is fucking piss poor it just times out all the time! And while I'm here, anyone know a good place for FM skins?
