FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014

Iran - Nigeria is to me by far the worst game of the tournament. What luck that I still have some work to do...
 
turned out to be a piss match.. I almost fell asleep. Germany vs Portugal was worse though,.. that was no match at all, it was a parody.

it should be WE7, my favorite football game ever, used to love it and played it for so many years in ps2 , in my country no oneplayed any other game for like 4-5 years ... we used to call it KONAMI 7 :D

One hell of a goal though! I think Ghana's attacking build up can sometimes be quite impressive - quick movement and pretty effective flicks.
 
Good half so far. I expected it to be a walk in the park for The Black Starts, it's turning out to be anything but such (their defending isn't making it easy for them too).

I think Ghana would've won this game if Muntari didn't let his team mates down in the first goal. Ghana's defence is terrible. Andre Ayew had a great game unlike his younger brother who still I can't understand why Appiah chose him over Boateng. It looks hard for Ghana to make it through now hope they can atleast upset the Germans..

+1 to that thought, gerd. I knew Ghana would be an excellent test -- in fact, I thought they would win. I think they will struggle with Germany because they have difficulties breaking down top-tier European sides, but they are easily better than the side that knocked us out of the 2010 tournament and almost reached the semi-finals. However, I think they stand a very good chance of beating Portugal. They can compete with those teams technically, but they just need to improve their game management (i.e., speed of play, how and when to press) and clean up the silly mistakes. I was also surprised that they kept resorting to the same tactic of getting it wide and crossing it in. Gyan beat our center backs to the ball a couple of times, but most of his efforts on goal were speculative at best. The times when Ghana found success were when they got the ball to either Ayew or Atsu and let them cut inside on their favored foot. In fact, that is how they scored their first goal. Those are the types of chances they need to create more of against Germany and Portugal to have a chance of advancing out of the group.

Regarding Ghana's players: I knew about Gyan, Asamoah, the Ayew brothers, Boateng, Muntari, and Essien...but I was really impressed with Kelvin Atsu's play. I've only seen clips of him, but he is the real deal. It's too bad that he is another Chelsea loanee who will probably never see the field at Stamford Bridge. Also, Mohammed Rabiu was excellent in midfield. He looks so slight for a holding midfielder, but I thought he made it really difficult for our midfielders to connect their passes with our forwards. He could definitely be a bargain buy for newly promoted Premier League team or mid-table Bundesliga side seeking to add some steel to their midfield.

Really hoping the USA get out of the group. I kind of consider them my second team due to my dad living out there for many years now. I've got every faith they can get something out of Portugal. Germany will be a huge test but with Klinsmann in charge they will at least have the benefit of some valuable insight on the opposition.

As are many German American kids, I grew up in Germany as well but I'm clearly not German. Dad was in the army just like brooks dad. Brooks has two tattoos one Of Berlin and one of Illinois, bebo your American bit were you born in usa?
