FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014

As are many German American kids, I grew up in Germany as well but I'm clearly not German. Dad was in the army just like brooks dad. Brooks has two tattoos one Of Berlin and one of Illinois, bebo your American bit were you born in usa?

I was born in Dom.Rep. I have dual citizenship(republican conservative \0/) . When I see all the mulatos on the US squad . I know their German+African-American...most of the hispanics think their Puerto-rican lol . I w`d of Love to have a bit of German in my family-line. Germans are the biggest visiting tourist in Dom.Rep.

@Jamezinho you almost qualify to play for the USA  maybe your son in the future :)

This USA squad don`t know how to play the ref and very native to getting players booked. When, Beckerman got taken out he popped up like a roster lol The quality of the US squad individually is weak and their only strength is playing together as a unit. Jozy injured is a massive blow for his strength on top. I was shock to see how bad Bradley`s performance was and surprise how Jone took the role of playmaker and never abandon his defensive duties.
He was tracking back and pushing forward like a 21yr old. Jurgen is very clever and maybe too clever for us Americans. He having players w/ little experience on the national front and instilling belief in them. Zusi who my mates call the 'Longwood boy' a county next to Orlando. He has been vital in putting balls into the box and delivered last night \0/ . I just know Bradley will shine in the next match and Beasley got beat regularly ,but he did all he could to bother the balls com9ing in kudos to him. I`m proud for the win last night I saw the US lose twice in '06 n'10 by the hands of Ghana! to get out of this group w'd be amazing. I hope Mexico beats Brazil , that could be amazing.

Really hoping the USA get out of the group. I kind of consider them my second team due to my dad living out there for many years now. I've got every faith they can get something out of Portugal. Germany will be a huge test but with Klinsmann in charge they will at least have the benefit of some valuable insight on the opposition.

Right now it is all in their hands - a win against Portugal and they are mostlikely in KO stage. A draw against Portugal and a defeat by one goal against Germany could be enough to go through also.

The next match will be the key match for USA and Portugal.

Portugal is going to win the world cup... :SMUG:

I'm so hoping for Algeria in this match and when I turned on the TV I almost didn't believe my eyes.. Belgium-Algeria 0-1. What happened? :D

EDIT: I missed the first 30 minutes of the match, which is why I'm asking.

EDIT: Never mind, for once the studio decided to show highlights of the current match instead of showing stuff from previous world cups. :)

@beINSPORTSUSA: BREAKING: Portugal's Fábio Coentrão is ruled out of the World Cup.

Massive...massive blow!

I hate Belgium just because every bandwagoner in the world has now become a Belgium fan and started to call it 'dark horse' or 'the surprise of the tournament'..
IMO, calling a team 'a dark horse' at the beggining of the tournament is really stupid.. because a dark horse is a little-known person or thing that emerges to prominence, especially in a competition of some sort or a contestant that seems unlikely to succeed..

i find it as stupid as saying: 'i'm expecting a surprise' (which i like to think is a startle response experienced by both animals and humans as the result of an unexpected event).

people who say any of those things should receive a massive wegdie and a punch in the stomach at least

PS. hard blow for Portugal, on the bright side they got rid of Pepe really early in the tournament. Also, i believe Postiga is of no help in this team, any other forward can do better IMO

lol man of course you don't hate belgium. but I can understand you want to see them lose because of the hipsters, bandwagoners, fm geeks.

WOW, what a match. Mexico especially, they nearly neutered Brazil for 93 minutes.

Man of the match; Ochoa

 People hyped up over here.

That's just another day for Memo, definitely not the 1st time he pulled something like this, if you watched la Ligue 1 you'd know.

I've bought him on FM quite often :SMOKIN:

Anyway, this was a proper fight, not a traditional football match. Great to watch, I enjoyed every second of it.
