Exactly what I'm thinking. Now everyone will think again Löw did everything right and are fapping on that win and after all they will be shocked and surprised again if we lose later against a team like Italy.
Think we can be lucky that we didn't get that penalty call against us, was nearly the same as in Götze's case.
Aren't Di Stefano, Púskas, Platini, Cruiff, Eusébio and others among the very best players that the game had ever seen. The idea that a player needs WC glory to be one of the very best is ridiculous.
Lucky isn't the word I would use there.
And compare both incidents is ludicrous. Éder was clearly tackled in the box. Götze was in a grabbing battle for position.
Both were penalties to me, which one was "clearer" is irrelevant. To be fair though, it wouldn't have changed much.
They may be similar but I don't understand Danish at all...
Thanks but no thanks for the link, I'm watching HD with Danish commentaries over streamed![]()
I can't because it's always the same for years. All that hype and we always fail at the important matches.Take one game at a time... Enjoy the moment n result FFS![]()
So Germany and the Netherlands each won against an Iberian side (Portugal and Spain respectively) with 4 goals difference. Expected it to be the other way round, because they should be more comfortable with those climate conditions.
In both cases I think the climate did not have influence in the losses. Spain looks tired regardless. And in Portugal case the game was finnished long before climate could had any influence. But was still a mental thing appoint a game at Salvador at 13:00. If the game was close, we would probably had a lot more injuries on both sides. The three that existed had nothing to do with the climate, was just hyperextensions. Can happen any time.So Germany and the Netherlands each won against an Iberian side (Portugal and Spain respectively) with 4 goals difference. That's because of the usual latin "rationality", we assumed we were prepared for the conditions so we did no adaptation training whatsoever. We even got to Brazil much later than most teams.
For some reason, Gary Lineker is quoted by the media every single time we play against Germany, not sure why we're always hopeful"Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win."

Speaking of which I am sitting in my hotel room in shanghai having slept an hour today and an hour yesterday lol. Surprised I am able to stand up straight at this point.
Oh no, Muller was acting, it was very obvious that it was nothing but drama. I'll give you everything else, but not that.
Nah, Muller was definitely acting like a drama queen. Doesn't justify what Pepe did on the field, however.
Don't think Müller was acting, he even feared at German TV that it looked strange and made clear that he wasn't acting. Of course it's just his statement, but red card was deserved anyway, as already said. Totally stupid from Pepe, but if you begin to think, he got a bit more calm at club, he has to do such things at national team..
