Btw had one of the most fun game I ever had since FIFA 17 today with Paul2k4's gameplay patch and Matt10L's slider. I wish I recorded the entire match. This game has some serious potential when it comes to fun.

I'm sure it's fun, but I just can't look past how "Garry's Mod" the whole game looks.

Imo, it’s also important to notice that mens football and women football gameplays are different!

These are things that can be sorted out easily with the gameplay editor so I am not that extremely worried. The things that normally cannot be fixed via gameplay editor seems to be already sorted.

This is why i suggest sliders different to OS or Matt10. Ive got the ball moving a lot more natural. Although i think EBX is the ultimate fix here.
 
Are some external plugins needed to view files ? every time i open fifa stuff with VS code this is the result

hello my friend , everyone here trying to do the best with this tool also playing sliders of paulv2k4 , i also trying as far all want to see about the camera how to change values for better gaming for me gameplay and camera mod the game will be best of ever , so i will keep trying how to be a mod for the cameras , i am sure everyone will do the best, great job to all

for me also all cameras are really bad, for the "real" fun, we need customation

Actually, I like the smart tracking ea sport game cam introduced back then. I also like to have a bit more broadcast angle to get that TV feeling. Even if I’m a FUMA players, and angles are bit tough to deal, this contribute to add realism and a bit more challenge. At least for me

i agree that ea sport is nice camera but i feel that need better angles like real life this game for me is better than ever for fifa series so with gameplay mod and camera for me the game will be 99% playable
 
guys, I got a G-sync 144hz monitor so I only enabled G-sync compatibility within nvidia. Do you recommend to enable v sync in control panel and WAITFORVSYNC in setup.ini? I didn’t know if that would make any differences

I have turned Vsync on in control panel and "no fps limit" in game, game runs without any problem.

Mine is smooth too. I only got a bit of stuttering during replays and cinematic, but not that disturbing! Will try with v sync on. What about g sync ? Did you disable it or you just don’t have it man ?
 
is this a bug or is the Throw of the GK harder than the power shot? 🤣🤣
Depending on your controls mate my controls for instance if i hold R1 on PS4 pad and press pass button well a player as it does a power pass holding R1 and do a throw with the GK does a power throw
 
Only changed defensive issues and the midfield, which is where the game, for me, fails. ARSENAL (CPU) The map shows a noticeable improvement in the amount of recovery and sectors where they occur, compared to the same match on ps5. I think it can be a great year for fifa on PC...sorry for my bad English

So I used those above changes with Paul2k4's Gameplay locale.ini and Matt10's sliders and here is a snippet. Sadly my game crashed. I am going to be playing more matches but I do see noticeable differences. There are a lot of new gameplay changes we can make once we can see the edited EBX files in the mod so I think this year, we have the most hope for tweaking to make it more playable.

I gave this a run also. It does add to the improvement of the sliders, and I found the women's gameplay also more enjoyable as a whole. If we can get these gameplay files working then it'll be worth sinking our teeth into them and seeing what we can do. It'll still be a big challenge, but worth a go.

The 11v11 hypermotion capture should give us more possibilities with the gameplay files. One area in particular that would make a huge difference (and I don't know if it's even possible yet via gameplay files) is to have the midfielders a lot more active - not just in tracking back but especially in closing down the space in wide areas. Their behaviour in particular holds the key. They have a habit of camping out in the middle of the field, often quite bunched up. It was the same on 22 NG. If we can get them condensing the space based on the position of the ball (and not just their formation), then a lot more of the gameplay would click and we'd be in a much better position.

Because of this issue, I find the wings a very big point of weakness at the moment. You just need to beat the full back and it's too easy to be in behind. There's really no incentive at all to try and attack through the middle when if you go down the wings you're consistently battling far fewer bodies to make up ground. Not a product of the sliders or the mod, just an observation of an area that could lead to big improvement - and hopefully something we can do with access to gameplay files (although I'm not particularly confident about that just yet).

Example here. The positioning and behaviour of these three circled players will make a HUGE difference.

I know for sure that positioning values have infinite possibilities in terms of midfielders presence. Coupled with positioning formation x,y,z it could result in a huge difference like you said. It's just a matter of testing and understanding exactly how each of these values in the same folder affect other related values. Same for AI ball handling and stamina.
