TUTORIAL:
With Fifa editor tool (thanks to Fifer) open Broadcasting/Attribsys/Broadcasting/gameplay_camera_settings. There you will find global settings for ingame cameras. Now, open the desired cam and there there are 2 factors: gamecam_height_mod_increment and gamecam_zoom_mod_increment.
These 2 factors are related to the camera settings in the game on a scale of 1 to 20 and with each stadium value, and can be changed according to everyone's taste, however do not forget that they can influence the height and zoom depending on the settings of each stadium. You can take my settings as a reference and then change them as you wish. Save as a new project and mod, then load with Fifa mod manager. Start a match and go to settings/camera sliders and "play" with them. That`s all. Again, thanks to Fifer for FET & FMM.

What do you guys think? Any chance that FIFA 23 on PC will be next gen?

As FIFA 22 with hypermotion is growing more and more one me, i can only imagine how awesome it would be with mods available.

Hard to say at this point, anyone remember how long PC version was old gen when Fifa previously moved to "next gen" on consoles? Get the feeling it was more than 2 versions stuck on old gen...

The consoles are quite powerful machines.
The PS5 is roughly a 2070 and the XSX is roughly a 2080.

Looking at the Steam Hardware profile list the average PC used for gaming is well below those cards, with the majority using 1050Ti's which is well below a PS5.
Also people are comparing FIFA to BF, why?
BF is a completely different game and the people who tend to play that on PC will be using at least 2060's.

Not everyone owns a 3080 and a Ryzen 7.

The decision to not run the next gen version sucks, but I do understand their excuse.
well I DO!!! and I don't understand anything EA does

Purely to maximize sales, why would they release a next gen PC version if the majority of PC users can't run it. I am not a teccy person but doesnt the SSD also improve performance in next gen consoles

Next Gen Exclusive Games:
PS3/XBOX360 era
Fifa 08
Fifa 09
Fifa 10

PS4/XBOXOne era
Fifa 14

PS5/XBOXSeriesX era
Fifa 21
Fifa 22

So it took approximately 2 Titles in the near past.

Only for load times, the actual FPS difference would be minimal - Normally around 1-5% depending on game.

Judging on previous FIFA's the next gen version should come in FIFA 23.
However depending on how EA look at the figures.

Did the PC version suffer this year because it wasn't next gen?
Can the average PC - a 1050Ti really run the next gen version? Most likely @1080P.

My biggest concern is Stadia at this point. If Stadia gets too succesful It could replace PC next gen Versions. Now as i think about it, I hope I won't regret buying FIFA 22 on Stadia.

Lots here making excuses for EA. There are multiple ways on PC to get around ensuring the game is compatible with lower end hardware. From simply releasing a optional/graphical pack etc. that users with higher end hardware that download. Quite a few games offer this option. They could have even offered a dynamic optimization option ala Forza where the game can scale to the relevant hardware. Fifa is not the most graphically demanding game. Also, it's not like the game would be capped to 4k 60 or there would be limited options like a console. PC has multiple resolution/framerate options.

Thing is that it's not the matter of resolution or frame rate, but of new rendering which old GPUs can't afford.
Having said that, I think EA should have released two versions on PC: next-gen version for higher end PC, old-gen version for lower end PC, just like they did on consoles.

I hear what some of you are throwing down. However, This is just EA in bed with the those companies that make and sell consoles and apparently Stadia(Which is laughable). My PC runs and would outperform any Xstation-playbox console.

However, I got to play Fifa 22 on a ps5 earlier today. I would much rather play it on PC with mods from folks like 6ons1 and Fifer. There is no comparison. The cookie cutter vanilla version on the so called next-gen console felt super arcade. Plus, I could not hit Alt - Z to change game filters. stupid ps5!

It's good for you then. Um...EA would say thank you who think so.

It is not necessary to remove all crowds, or all slc. For example, on rainy days you can have partially crowd. Or you can remove just an object like Stewards, or in my case those Steady cameramans near the pitch. Enjoy.

And the big news, people, i managed to edit locale.ini testing ingame with some code lines. I will test few days for different gameplay codes implementation.
