FIFA 22 Discussion (Console Versions)

Hey guys,

why is one of my videos blocked on YouTube now? It’s one of the streams from last night. The scene of cause starts when the game starts so it must be the music from the menus. Why is that? Thought games were cool with licenses. Do I have to disable the soundtrack ingame? Never had that problem in years!!

Yes. Pretty sure there is even an option in the settings menu, under sound, that disables the music for streaming purposes.

Yeah got me by surprise too considering the all time bad FIFA 21.
 
I really like the penalty shootout when it goes all blurry for the important penalties , like the one to win or the one to lose. Bit of a fun gimmick

You mean that graphics glitch when the whole screen goes blurry? That’s probably not intended.

No fog and no heavy rain too on pc. Never noticed this big difference with the simple rain but it's still annoying to me when they cut off weather options.
 
Has day one patch messed it up? Or is this still good?

Just saw it in Tesco on ps5 for 60 quid. I was very tempted but will wait a few months.
 
The super fast dribbling/skills have feared me for real. That one "old ghost" from the Fifa i hated.
We have to get rid of old those ghosts and Fifa won't get any issue. Remember when you could do sombrero skills with all GK... Even when the game was balanced.

It really needs to be addressed on feedback : even Ronaldinho, well not a single footballer is capable to do that thing

I'm sick of "impossible > possible in Fifa". I don't even think children would like that.

Didn't know it was possible. I will try it, even if i prefers english commentary (French are atrocious, but because of the guys they choosen. The commentary system is very well done in fact)
Even if understand english, when it's on commentary it doesn't bores me at all if they said some repetitive stuff. As it's not my first language.
Italian isn't that bad in terms of sentences, but the voice acting is very forced. German, i tried and like it.

Arabic remind me some streaming matchs, but they aren't at all representating their level of "enjoyment" when an action is done, also as it's a game i don't think they can say islamic reference like the classic "allahhhh allllahhhh" when a super goal is scored.
 
Yeah, in all game i choose the language related to the league i will play.
If it's Italian, i'll play Italian. Bundes > Germany. Libertadores of course i will choose Spanish.

Well i like to change. But sometimes, it bores me so much that i cut them off completely (on every sports games)
 
In other words, after yesterday’s eShitshow I will probably get this game to play something with current season rosters, alternating with PES 21.

Unfortunately its PES 14/FIFA 14 all over again…

PD: Volta 3v3 games are kinda cool and fun

Nothing yet.I opted for the standard digital version last night on the series X,came in at 62 quid with the 10 percent discount.All game data was already installed form the trial.

Surely the first patch should be quality improvements.Optimisation,stability and any bug fixes.There’s still a little texture drop out on goal kicks and a little bit of skating that could be easily tidied up.

I really like the keepers,bit of a contentious one.So I’m hoping anything there is a improvement.Not a downgrade.

You can hope for me too lol, but it's not the first to me i know as much FIFA as PES in fact since PS3 lol. Except editing (of course)
 
Just tried quickly on ps4. Standard settings. This is really good. Player id actually stands out. Love that the ball control of each player is so different.. Oh and also.. Very difficult. On world class Dortmund smashed me as Milan. Just as it should be.

Only had 20 minutes, so didn't have the time to check transfers etc. Hopefully we can get an update, so we can turn off the internet (patches)

happend to me once in the trail. The screen went all blurry and it made no sense. Just today I had another penalty, a regular one. The screen went blurry again, but this time it was less blurry. Again, the whole screen was blurry which made no sense.
edit: don’t get me wrong. I could like a feature to make it more dramatic, controller rumble included. Gimme a heart beat. But I csnt think of something specific with the blurry part.

A friend of mine already bought/preordered the digital edition in the store weeks ago. Then he got EAplay for a dollar and had his 10 hours with the trial version. When he wanted to start the full version last night, he was always linked to the store and the special EAplay offer. There was no way around deleting the trial version data and re-downloading the standard version from the store. What a mess, when you only have a weak connection to the Internet.

I’m not normally a big team player.Always preferring the smaller sides and testing my metal.But I had a dream game last using Man Utd against Everton.Played a lot of long ball and lofted passes to cut through there midfield and get behind there defence.Some of the movement of my players and the way they responded felt almost telephathic and we walked away with a lovely 2-0 win.Big highlight was a Ronaldo finish where he chopped over the ball from a header from a acute angle just outside the box.It was the way I built from the back and used my players heads to pass into space.A lot of it was down to my manual passing set-up and the freedom to be able to place the ball slightly away from the receiving player.

In absolute ore of this game.So many breathtaking moments and possibilities to dream up in my head.It all plays out so nicely and connects up.

Have defending down also and using my CM to provide cover and mop up and potential danger outside the box.I don’t think I’ve used the sliding tackle button so much since the ps2 era.Nothing like cutting out a dangerous piece of play with perfectly timed slide tackle.That breaks up the other teams momentum.

I’m pretty happy with the trail build.Mine seems ok not linking me back to eaplay.So I don’t know if that’s a ps5 thing.

I do have auto updates off.Going to see how things pan out interms of patches and whether gameplay negates before updating(although I’m hoping there more quality improvements).

If things do change for the worst,I will just pick up a disc copy further down the line at a more discounted price.

Because it’s next gen I’m hoping the small user base means ea won’t pander to the FUT crowd,stick to there guns and just let people adjust to the more simulated gameplay.
