Either that's the original beta, which was sped up considerably by the end, or he's playing on slow / with sliders...

The FUT forum was screaming about how slow it was from day one (even though the Career one wasn't) - so they've just listened to the feedback. And we suffer the consequences. Sigh.
Judging by the midfielders pressing quite aggressively in that video (though they never actually win the ball or block a passing lane, or do anything useful), I'd say that's actually the final version of the beta, so I'd say he must have adjusted the sliders...

I checked everytime the AI got the ball. He's passing just in front of defenders without doing anything all the time, with a selected player.
Will be pretty hard to defend or he isn't used to standing tackle at the right moment? I don't know.
But the rest doesn't seems that bad than the first Beta version. Even in dribbling etc., with PSG (so a big team). And controlling, as i hated it on previous Fifa, seems a bit different and less "too quick/robotic" with physics logic removed, and devs managing the speed of each movement on dribbling.
That's giving me a very weird sensations. But i won't talk too quick lol, i saw some 180 degree turning a bit too fast again.
Let's say the word is "not homogenous" some movement that should be slower are faster or equal than movements requiring a bit of inertia and slowing down to be executed. But in general... I can't say it's super visible, but for us as we're fan of Footie games it is, we see all those details : certains AI decrypted like professionnals i'm impressed when i see some analysis as i'm average at this, some physics/animations/stats all related to "actions" (like the guys not tackling) overally like me... We complete each others, that's what i like here. After we all got our own interest, to me it's physics/action/animations > AI, to some it's the opposite (both are important) that's why we don't got favorite same games
Needs to check more offensive gameplay, i focused on defense as it was the main concern. But interesting as he made a lots of replay, for analysis.
I don't know if gameplay is fast... But players runs are really fast even averagely speed players, that choice of gameplay (can't say it's a bug or issue) is the same on that part.
Edit: still hate that all passes are straight lines. Most boring thing with dribbling on Fifa, assisted or not it shouldn't be that straight even on long distance ffs

I agree, he showed his basic choice before the game... But we don't know if it's on sliders, or if he decreased speed...
Confusing. Wants to see the vanilla game / Then i will see what could be done with it after, with slow gameplay, or if sliders could arrange some stuffs not too much linked to the fundamentals.
Also, question: why FUT is so different? Chemistry and morale probably? Because i don't see them changing totally their game for one single mode, except VOLTA.

when I see something good, it take seconds to smash it all by silly stuff like that…
edit: I am still undecided what game to get this year. The new FIFA22 (PS5) or the approved FIFA16 (PC). Let’s see… only weeks to go till release… (FIFA16 would be 20 bucks cheaper

I never, ever thought I'd see the day when EA allowed one of its modern games to be built on something other than Frostbite.
A few different teams have said making their game was made more difficult because of the requirement to use it (vaguely remember Anthem being one of them)...

I have made a lot of different matches. Many many with 0-1, 2-1, 0-0, some 3-1, 0-5.
Since FIFA 16 demo and PES 5, I never really enjoy every match from a game.

On FIFA offline, i don't care if roster are outdated, just annoyed that i can't changes errors with the inexistent edit mode.
There's youth players for example you couldn't get their preferred foot, height, weight, neither position at the time and now you got the information.
Also tons of player starting for League One and more you goes down the divisions... You can found info on websites, or giving them an estimation that's what's i'm doing for 20-30% of my correction on PES. But can't correct it as i said.
I accepted it... Because you can't change anything so, whatever. Let's see real players as random ones.
It depends to the providing clubs. For example, MLS have all settled teams on the official MLS website.
BUT they made mistake. For having the good result for height and weight, you need to go to the official team website... The weird thing, is they've got different data, but it's exactly the same presentation. By creating many team i got the issue with very weird info like players with 160kg 80kg. etc.
So there's 2 you can really thrust, and others website should be inspired by them :
-MLS clubs official websites / they got all the same presentation
-J-League : all got height, weight, position, and some change if a youth grown or if a player takes some weight from a season to another.

Liga MX gives also info, but it's not that much reliable. It's because they don't care about football games editing (which is kind of normal) otherwhise i would be a standard for official Leagues to ask all base info from theirs clubs players. Basic info are Nationality, Height, weight, position (i would gives preferred foot too, but you got information in official website and all, easy to found info in Japan from YT or official clubs)

I keep hearing that slow speed is ”broken” in the last years FIFA’s. In what way? Watching most of the videos from the beta, the gameplay is super fast and I can’t believe there are people prefer it this way.

I've no idea. I havent played any Fifa on normal speed since Slow Speed was introduced. Normal speed looks much more broken to me.

Their definition of hypermotion from what ive seen so far is taking 2/3 touches out from the air to kill the ball, chest the ball, thigh and then foot trap. The rest look exactly like 21.

great things can happen in the future… i just won’t stop dreaming! Even when I can see “easy money gabbing“ being a more dominant technique (even more to be exploited) in the future! ^^
edit: if I was a bitter old man (nothing against the elderly here!!) I’d say: f em all!
Still… how I pray (not really, but you get me) every day to have my dream of a football simulation at its best come true. 🙏

I have said everything about this game mate. I'm in love with it, i don't know why. I can doing what I'm thinking, on FUMA. It didn't happen since a while. On 22th september, I will make videos to show you what I loved in this game and I Hope retail FIFA 22 will be egal or better than FIFA 22 beta.

I know all videos look bad and FIFA 22 didn't shine on these videos.
I don't know why but with a pad in your hand after changing some settings, it feels great.

Same old dreadful stuff to me too. Like watching paint dry. Can already see the attack structure of teams is still the same old tripe. Vertical line outside of the edge of the box, pass upwards or down with an overlapping midfield breaking the defensive line.
I let my mate convince me to play co op on 21 last night and honestly, it won't be a popular opinion but it is slow in all the wrong ways and it is fast in all the wrong areas. It is like controlling a bus on ice for most of the game and just a grind. It is really difficult to dictate play within the scope of how you want your team to play and not just going though the motion of how the game wants you to play. You play FIFA and not football.
It isn't like we aren't good either. I'm really good at defending on Fifa and that is nothing to be proud of, most of my games finish 5-6-7 nil if people don't quit and even then it's not enjoyable in the slightest.
While I will still have hope and will try 22, it just feels and looks from the videos that at its core, it is still the same and maybe I have just realized it is the core of Fifa I don't like, which is obviously a fundamental problem for myself.
Hopefully one of the new games out of 4 will have what we are looking for. Just an exciting, enjoyable, difficult, rewarding game of footy.

Yes I understand why so many people are sceptical because all videos didn't look like a simulation with an AI who didn't looks clever or stronger in the right way than FIFA 21.
You can easily noticed fast passing, few crosses and center, sliding, etc...
Gamechanger should show their sittings : pad, vanilla sliders or not, difficulty to understand what is good or bad if you used it.
This year there are a lot of new helps, it make the game harder to managed.
