It's a prediction, not a demand...So now, besides not being recommended to give feedback, I also can't even discuss this in this forum? Isn't that a bit too much?

Really... I'll have to try that!In case you're not aware there's a two button control mode for playing the game, might make it easier for him, less frustrated he is the longer he'll play it with you
I'll step away from this topic from now on. I will respect the general consensus here. It's a prediction, not a demand...
Mate I think you’ve got your wires majorly crossed here. Someone was just saying that on feedback forums like the EA one, because of the amount of cards post update, that FUT guys will moan about it.I'll step away from this topic from now on. I will respect the general consensus here.
Why?! Nobody is criticising you! People are just expressing their opinions like you are expressing yours. Say exactly how you feel - it's what the thread is here for.I'll step away from this topic from now on. I will respect the general consensus here.
You misunderstand, I was only observing that if the odd sliding behaviour is attracting comment in this forum, for sure it's reached the level of EA, and we know what footy game developers have a habit of doing. If the attempted fix needs fixing, it's easier to unfix it completely and move on. I want to see the sliding behaviour for myself too, so I don't yet have hands-on experience of it in action. If I'm just strolling along with the ball at 0-0 or something and the AI comes at me with an insane lunge that breaks the fourth wall, and that happens repeatedly, producing an online-style frenzy of constant alligator-snapping challenges, I might not like it either. So now, besides not being recommended to give feedback, I also can't even discuss this in this forum? Isn't that a bit too much?
Haven’t you seen @Matt10 ’s new and advanced slider optimization tool yet?!I agree with you. The only way to make it work (fouls, referee strictness, handballs, etc..) in a broader scale is through additional sliders. This would maybe emulate the way we tweak older games like FIFA 16.
It wouldn't really be that difficult for them to implement it I think. Maybe sending feedback to them to add more sliders instead of complaining about specific things getting fixed could be a smarter thing to do, I reckon.
Don't silence yourself on here - I don't think an EA rep cares what Evo-Web thinks about FIFA!Hold on, hold on! I just meant I will stop mentioning what we were talking about, for the logical reasons some of you pointed out. I'm not leaving the thread or the forum
I feel we are a strong community here, we don't have to agree with everything but if most of us think being silent about something is the best way to avoid it getting removed completely, I will respect it without any problem. I can understand your reasoning, it happened before.
Makes me remember the times of winning Eleven boards were I had at least the feeling of someone from Japan was lurking.Yeah, its not Evo we need to worry about.
Its twitter and youtube and their "pro" players.
Fortunately - i dont think any of them play any modes that wouldnt have Competitive AI ON, so this particular 'issue' should go under their radar.
Im glad we can talk things through in here. Its very refreshing coming from social media..

As he’s at the root of things, so EA send him this machine to help enhance the game!
can you imagine his toddlers pumping the pedals and he’s pulling strings above! I CAN!
They are completely messed up in the Stadia version too. I think something went bananas with the latest squad update.Nobody noticed any crazy squads in Career Mode? No teams with twisted names? Wanna start proper CM since they fixed youth academy issue, but dont want to play against Master League Man Utd..
No, I didnt notice any.. Im asking..They are completely messed up in the Stadia version too. I think something went bananas with the latest squad update.
42, the number which God created the universe in Jewish Kabbalah. Sorry to be a geek but I love how he accurately married a significant geometrically assigned number to its philosophical and spiritual representation in the book and the movie, only for society to take it as a number randomly picked out of thin air and therefore a joke. When he’s basically marking the tip of the esoteric numerical iceberg. Anyway. Back to Fifa 😂HAHA! That is hilarious.
My oldest son just started coding, so I imagine when I'm dead and gone, he would've figured out the answer to everything sliders. It's 42.
I saw a rumour on Twitter that it only happens when switching "live form" on in "kick off" mode.Nobody noticed any crazy squads in Career Mode? No teams with twisted names? Wanna start proper CM since they fixed youth academy issue, but dont want to play against Master League Man Utd..
If we judge the implementation on the solidity of an intuitive 'feel' between input and outcome, I nominate PES 2011's. That was the year when you either read the manual and learned how to do them, or you just shot them down the middle. Two penalty shootouts so far in career mode for me. These penalties are easily the worst implemented I've ever seen in any football game
Elaborate.I'd like to nominate FIFA 22's free kicks as the least satisfying mechanic in any sports game ever
From a shooting perspective I didn't have a clue what I was doing, and I might be wrong but I think it auto shoots after a while so while I was trying to figure out what to do, my striker causally flicked the call straight into the keepers arms (it's possible I flicked a button by accident I guess)If we judge the implementation on the solidity of an intuitive 'feel' between input and outcome, I nominate PES 2011's. FIFA 22's FKs are on my mind because I have seen the new AI sliding tackles! So far they haven't been excessive and each has been appropriate to context. If they'd been in the game form the start we'd never have noticed them except to praise them. I did see one though that I think is the type some people aren't keen on – the AI striker simply Cantona-ing my defender from behind, in the open, in an otherwise calm passage of play. As a one-off incident I quite enjoyed it. But a match full of that kind of thing would be tough to justify... but tougher than no fouls at all? More study needed.
They're too abstract for my taste. I practiced them a fair bit in the skill game where you can take as many as you like, and finally got to the point where I could whip, curve, dip etc. But it's as if you enter all your choices and then await developments. The same could be said of any input in a football game of course, but the FIFA 22 free kicks seem that one step further abstracted.Elaborate.
Least satisfying as awkward and hard to understand, or not satisfying when you score?
I was asking as initially I found them ridiculous. But then I watched few youtube clips and practiced a bit and now I really like them. They're too abstract for my taste. I barely use the contain button when defending. I pretty much just cut passing lanes and keep adjusting defenders into certain areas to keep my shape. Sometimes I use second man press to cover additional space or to close down.I really really need help defending... I just find it so hard to contain any team. HELP!! any tips?
