Is it just me or is anyone having difficulty playing the demo on the PS4? I can play the default first game, Liverpool v Man City without any hitches. However, when I try play any other match, the game just completely slows down. Even the team and kit selection screen are slow and unresponsive. The pre-match training game and the match itself are virtually unplayable. The slow down and responsiveness is shocking! I've tried it with and without registering for that EA Origin account and the same with both. Any ideas guys?

Had an awesome one too - Hazard nicked the ball away and was heading out of the box, but an exuberant defender just kept tapping his heels, and he went down, landing outside the box near the touchline, but penalty given.
Easily saved though !!!
That gif noob saibot posted of the keeper standing and getting beat. I've seen that 4 times now and its getting tiresome. They seem incapable of saving if that animation happens.
Also had a worrying number of similar goals scored by the ai. they run towards a list and then smash it high into the near top corner. They seem to score it every time they try that shot

I think some replays are locked at 30fps to make some sequences more tv-ish...anyway try to disable frame limit into "fifa settings" and enable V-SYNC from "NVIDIA control panel"...everything will run at 60fps

I have to say, after playing some matches, that FIFA 15 on PS3 is sooo similar to FIFA 07 or 09 at best, in tbhe bad way. Suddey players move much more robotically, and except for the presentation, the game is visually AWFUL. Players look like polished Football Kingdom FFS!!!

It's very fifa. Not bad few of the usual annoyances like generic ball control and so can't get the damn midfielders to play like midfielders. Passing is also a bit sluggish.
One thing though. The immersion in visuals and sound is just unbelievable. Playing with my headset on i think I was mouth agape when the game loaded city vs Liverpool.
Saw some weird keeper things like unable to pick the ball up between his legs but sure that will be fixed.
It's very much a build on 14 and should provide a good multiplayer experience. Love iniesta in this game which was hard for me on 14.
Oh yes and i cant slide for shit.... Ai seem to know exactly when I am about to on world class level

I've played some more games and it's very weird. The ps3 demo makes the game feel half-finished. The AI is awful. It can't defend, though it's not bad at attacking (World Class).
I wasn't expecting much visually but the graphics are really poor. They were for the world cup game too.

The game lacks a more active midfield.
Players need to anticipate to a pass not just to cut or intercept, but to not give freedom for dangers players to turn and shoot easily. Players should not always recieve the ball already facing the goals opponents or with enough freedom to turn. Thats what I like in PES that needs to be addressed in agora imho

BTW, graphics are awesome and the broadcast tele câmera is amazing! Much better than on Fifa 14

Am I the only one in here who's struggling with defending ?
I simply cannot take the ball from the AI unless they make a bad pass or shot.
Defending is one of the hardest things in this Fifa, I just hope it's simply the AI and general thing (human vs human).

Taking the ball from the CPU players at worldclass/legendary level is very frustrating, every player can turn very quickly and the CPU AI seem to be two steps in advance. Sliding tackles have been useless.
This has been the case for years which is why I tend to lower the CPU's pass accuracy and sometimes acceleration in order to compensate for their godly foresight.
This. It's so annoying that they can 'see' your challenge coming as you do it, and perfectly dodge.
In 15 it's more noticeable because they hold on to the ball so much more. Hoping it's just a matter of getting the hang of it.

I've been awarded numerous penalty yesterday, with one of it the offender were given a red card. The penalty even given for shirt tugging and some of it cause by defender barging on my forwards. However, I'm concern about the referee seems to brandishing the red for a tackle that is not really dangerous -- its from the side and seems to have touch the ball too. But Subotic still got the marching order. While on the other incident, Lukasz Piszczek slide from the back of my player and a penalty was given, but referee only booked him.
Other than that, the game is awesome and even it is not a huge leap from 14, it feels like it.

This is one of the main things that makes my stress levels actually rise when playing FIFA offline. People can rave all they want about all the shiny presentation polish applied to the game...and ok let's give credit for putting effort on the small things, but they MUST come up with a more natural way for the AI to keep the ball off you.
I could pinpoint multiple examples of what I'm talking about when looking at the gameplay videos but FFS why within the space of 1 second, can the AI shift the ball a metre to the left, then a metre to the right and back again just to keep the ball off you.
You shouldn't be able to just barge them off the ball either. There should be fouls awarded if you want to be a pressure junkie but they should skip past you, pass the ball or shield it instead of what they currently do.

I think its more enjoying to play it on Professional. CPU seems to be content to pass around, and base on the team, some of them played through the wings and some through the middle. On Legendary, the turned out to be too good. I might be lousy too.

Chelsea scored almost exactly the same goal against me in 3 games just with different players.
They hold possession around the area play a short 1-2 and finish low and to my keepers left. Costa did it twice and Oscar once

Yes, defending is the biggest issue in 15; it is you vs AI attacker while your teammates just watch.

Why switch profiles? Just go into your account and set your PS4 as your primary console. I've downloaded a lot of games and the NHL demo from the US and never needed to play using my US account.

Just disconnect your PS4 from the network and restart the demo.
Seems that after the intro match, the demo tries to connect to Origin or something and there is a slowdown everywhere ( in UI and game ).
Unplugging the LAN cable did the trick for me.

I hear you. I switched to legacy defending and it is SO much better and easier. What is surprising is that the AI routines change when you use legacy defending. They don't try to power dribble around you. Since you can lock on them like a homing missile with legacy defending, they try to pass it around much more.
All in all I prefer legacy defending much more, but mostly because the AI changes behaviour when you use it. Going back to Tactical Defending the AI felt so broken in comparison.

Skipped the first game and for some reason chose Chelsea v Napoli and really enjoyed it (On slow). Won 2-0. The presentation, cut scenes, replays is fantastic.
Then chose Barca v PSG again on slow and it was everything I hate about FIFA over the years. Even on slow it was like EAs NHL15 that I downloaded on Monday. It was way too fast and just horrible so I quit it.
Played another game on slow - again chose Chelsea and played Boca - won 2-1 and it was another good game.
Dont know what happened in the Barca game as I was trying to play slow but it was if the game wanted to play on fast x 2.
Anyways not a bad game. The wife is out tonight so Ill give it a proper test tonight.

I'd never go back to legacy defending. Just hold a button down and let the computer do it all for me? No thanks. If I get skinned then at least it's me being skinned. As long as you jockey and time your tackles, tactical defending is great. I'm happy to be skinned at times anyway. What's the point of being able to defend every attack with ease and no input? Can't use it online so pointless for me anyway.

please if anyone found a solution for fixing black bars on monitor with 16:10 ratio, graphics look bad it seems the game doesn't run well on monitors other than 16:9. please let me know if there's a fix.
