FIFA 15 News & Discussion Thread

No problem guys.

I guess the biggest improvement of them all is the player inertia and foot planting which make the game look very realistic.

Can all be fixed with the team management options in FIFA 15. And in FIFA 14 I use the L1 button (when in control of the ball, L1 makes the teammate you're looking at make a run. Or set my team on attacking mentality.

Cheers for the impressions Scorps. You are one lad whose opinion counts as far as I'm concerned as you play the game a similar way to me. I can't listen to some of the absolute bollocks about feet size, legs 2 inches too long, number fonts not being perfect as it doesn't really matter so thanks for writing up on stuff that's worth reading. Top man.

Thanks Scorpio, much appreciated words. :WORSHIP:

Which to some extent were there also in the FIFA 14 demo and got magically removed from the full game with no apparent reason. EA, I'm looking at you

Didn't see any strange running animation. All seemed well on that part. The big players Christiano Ronaldo, Bale, Messi, etc... have their own specific running animations now, just like in PES.

Ok thanks, must be the PC I'm watching it from, looking forward to this and pes , great year for football gaming, bout fakin time
:-)

Its looking brilliant can not wait. Last weekend i was watching EPL it looked like fifa, especially Liverpool.

Another 'thank you' to Scorpio for all the feedback about gameplay from Gamescon. Good job lad. It's looking and sounding like a huge upgrade from Fifa 14 on PC.

That's fair enough but it's still a kind of convoluted way of replicating what should be a staple mode in all football games.

Not really convoluted as you just skip everything managerial aside from the team management. So as I say you can do what you asked.

I bet next year Placebo will go play Fifa at Gamescom just to get all the thanks around here... :SMUG:

We're currently trying to buy a summerhouse, no time for game conferences ;)

Yes, thank-you Scorpio and thank-you Placebo for...the great slider settings last year.

;)

Seriously? Wasn't aware that player movement was changed. How did you notice the differences? And did you notice changes both on the ball and when defending?

This would be a wonderful surprise if they've further improved player movement.

This states other games could be different.
TBH, some people need to chill out. Don't trust EA and all that. It's a bit childish. You are getting early access/trial to a game if you choose to use EA Access. If you don't want the trial/discounts/free games then don't buy it. All this over 5 bloody days wait too. There was an option for a £4 1 months option. It's hardly breaking the bank so can we stop the silly comments as some of them are ridiculous. I've read comments all over the web and some of them are going way overboard and just makes the ones saying them look a bit daft IMO.

I think you need to chill mate. It's a discussion forum and we all have different views on things.

... and that's my view. You don't agree with it then fair enough but I find other comments pretty bloody silly (for reasons I stated) so if this is a discussion forum then all I've done is say what I think about it. Is that wrong or is this not a discussion forum where I can also share my thoughts on the matter??

Calm down PU6HY!

I am sure a lot of people will be pissed about that since even os Season Ticket you could play the full game for UNLIMITED time. The way EA advertise people though it would be the same, at least with sports games.

For me it's just another EA bullshit to intentionally fool customers and take more money from them.

I relly doubt that they will allow more than 2 hours in a game that's not a sport game. So they are basically charging for a trial and not full game early access, in my point of view, of course.

They are charging but there's also the discounts and free games so it's not a bad deal and it basically pays for itself. I don't really see an issue with it. I get to play some games a few days early (even if it's only for a few hours) or I wait a few days for the full release. I'd say that's pretty chilled myself as I'm not getting het up over a few hours and a few quid. I think it's a decent offer.
No harm done. Was just saying. Sorry if it offended anybody. Wasn't my intention.

Relax mate, you didn't offend anyone. :P

Sorry for myself being too much anti-EA sometimes... I just see this as a false advertising, specially because they never were clear how much time people would have in the early access. They clearly let people believe that for sports games it would work like the season ticket.

I know that some people will still thing the EA Access worth the money, and that's fine, i just am pissed because they don't make everything clear since the beginning. But coming from EA i always expect the worse (well, here am i being anti-EA again, sorry :P )
