Really good last video. Hopefully the AI was fairly low level, everything else looked pretty impressive.
 
And in other news..Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. Perhaps the Gamescon award was also for encouragement?

its a small award but good for pes after some bad years specially when there was strong next gen opponents like FIFA and Forza Horizon.that means people have taken pes positively this time.
I'm sorry for pes talk here, as there are only two footy games, comparison comes automatically.

Fan boy is the most pathetic term I've ever heard. It really does my nugget in. It's something children say.
If PES is good then great. If FIFA is good then also great.
FFS, talk about them both in their relevant threads though before it descends into the yearly willy waving bollocks that does most people's heads in.

Yeah, i reposted it to show what video i was speaking from. I've watched all the fifa videos posted. Only one positive which is improved presentation, pitch graphics and TV style camera angles along with slighty improved celebrations.

The Dortmund Liverpool one was breakneck fast, the Chelsea Liverpool one much slower.

Football is not played at one pace, it's dynamic, it's like a cat, very slow, laborious then suddenly springs into life. Also premier league matches for example are much faster than La Liga for example.

Players still seem a little floaty

I don't get the comments about it seeming like 2014. EA dont need to make massive changes as most seem contempt with what they hve. It's just a matter of refining the game and getting rid of the exploits

Pretty sure he said during the video that it was on semi-pro, which explains why the AI was so pathetic. I'd love to see a high quality video against the AI on Legendary.

I agree the players still look a little too floaty, and too quick, though they always look worse in these vids.

I'm also having trouble seeing the difference with the new lighting tech. For some reason the visuals from the twitch.tv vid looked better to me.
 
50 minutes in I saw something that really impressed me, Willian is on the ball, AI Joe Allen presses from behind, Willian simply uses his strength to keep Allen from getting the ball and Allen is shrugged off and ends up on the floor looking silly, that seems new to me? In old Fifa you can just press and press and press and basically glue yourself to the player and worst case concede a foul, if you can now end up on the floor and the attacker can run off with the ball doing what he wants it negates that as ball winning option.

I hope we can get rid of 90 minutes of high-pressure whores..It's not as bad as it used to be but still needs some work imo..
