He didn´t play it, of course. He´s one of the Fifa haters that only judge the game by videos and previous versions.

As I have noticed, all FIFA 14 NG players have quite negative opinions about FIFA 15. Is this really as similar to FIFA 14 as you're describing ?

It looks awesome to me. The only thing I would like to change is a goal net. It still looks unrealistically.

I wouldn't say that all FIFA 14 NG players have negative opinions of FIFA 15. I for one have played more NG 14 than I"ve played any football game in many years. So obviously I think the game is pretty good as it is.

Most of the criticism probably has to do with the fact that EA are focusing on presentation more than anything else this year. But that doesn't mean there won't be some key gameplay improvements.

And for us CM diehards, it is quite dispiriting that they've done so little with the mode, though Team Management and AI upgrades could be a huge addition if done well.

But if you haven't even played NG 14, then you should def be excited.

Not much, but enough to know it was mostly a visual upgrade to the PS3-gen version, with "tuned" gameplay.

Always saw it as mostly the same game with shinier graphics/animations, expected large chunks of the game to be "rebuilt" for the Ignite this year, other than more visual upgrades.

Well then you def didn't play it enough cause arguably the visuals were the least impactful change between the generations.

If you're truly such a big football fan as you seem, you owe it to yourself to give the game an honest go before writing it off. And I would've thought you've been around here long enough to know better than to jump to conclusions based off a few short vids.

Never said I wouldn't, just expressed my disappointment (based purely on the gameplay aspects of what I saw) vs. my initial expectations, which made suspect yet another year without a football game.

And yeah, I probably didn't play it enough (mostly because I don't have a NG console nor do I intend to), this year is completely different though.

Will put a fair amount of hours into it for sure.
 
You do notice a big difference when you switch from playing FIFA 14 on the older platforms,compared to the one/ps4..thing is it's short lived and the same repetitive patterns of play and the feełing you never have the rub or does the game reward clever pass and move..you can play some of the sweetest pass and move and the code doesn't reward that..whether you just run at goal or loft pass the outcomes the same.

It's playable as fuck,and everything works,but it's lifełess football.

This is my issue with FIFA and I hope it's adressed.

I'm going to pick it up this year as I will pes,just hoping its a little more organic and has some heart.

After 7 years the same core gameplays becoming a tad stale,I mastered the manual mechanics years ago..just becoming a rinse and repeat game like cod.
 
Yeah I thought it was definitely offside as well, weird, wonder if they had offsides turned off for some reason such as bugginess or maybe that thing where they let an offside goal go in but then pull it back after the celebration that's new in Fifa15 is not working right so they didn't want to risk it?
 
How do these vest wearing tramps get a chance to play these games? That game playing is enough to make you want to cancel buying it.

It is indeed painful to watch the play in many of these videos. But if I had to queue up for an hour to play, and then only had a five minute match, it might not be any different. And at least almost all the guys taking video are using tripods this year, thank goodness.

Best video to date IMO, pace is a lot slower than everything we've seen, really impressed with the AI they try a lot of "human" stuff (both good and bad) and they make fouls! Had seen in the Twitch video they must have made 4 or 5 proper fouls in that match! I downloaded the IGN 1080p video (just in case anyone has problems watching it) and will upload it to Cloudy/Mega.

Yeah the IGN video is awesome too. It's great to see someone playing the AI without rushing too much. Video quality was spectacular too. Thanks for posting the link.

Some great info from the producer Sabastian again. I liked his emphatic "PC version is the same as the XBONE/PS4 version" at the end.

I've had a play about with it and didn't get anywhere unfortunately. I found the player ID of one of my Career Mode players, created an image for him and placed it in the correct folder, but his image didn't show up in my career mode.

Maybe it would if I was to start a brand new CM, but that's no use to me as I start a career mode up when a new fifa comes out and play it continuously till the next fifa.

So basically I give up :)
