Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

OMG EA !!

I want Champions League a Europe League licences in game .... I want more stadiums... I want more balls, adboards, scoreboards etc. ......................... Want I a lot? No ... so come on you lazy bastards and DO IT EA!!!!!!
:LMAO:

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

Yet it looks like the guys at EA listen to him and to people like him (pace, pace, pace, overpowered moves, sweaty goals) way more than to people actually wanting to improve the game.

I call B.S. For years now FIFA has increasingly become more realistic and it's light-years beyond what it was a decade ago when no serious football fan would touch the game.

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

Spektarm, are some news about stadiums or Champions League? thanks
I thought Konami retained the exclusive UCL/UEL licence as well as the Libertadores one?
About stadia, I'd love to have more stadia myself, maybe some South American ones and a couple of Asian/Australian ones (I'd choose AAMI Park if I had to).
And I'd love them to have proper atmosphere (but it's something I already said in this thread).

Still, there are things that are way more important to me and I'd really give up on stadia to have them done:
  • A fix for stamina: it needs to be reworked, and drastically reduced. A team that presses no-matter-what, on every ball, every man... Should have stamina drained by the 30' of play.
  • A fix for lofted through balls: I don't think I need to say anything else about this.
  • A fix for the auto-tackle while containing and teammate-containing: and in this case with 'fix it' I obviously mean 'REMOVE IT'. If I'm containing an opponent and my player decides out of his will to tackle, it's not called contain anymore: it's called tackle. But I only wanted to contain. See the difference, EA?
There are millions of other things to address (goalnets were fine until 13 then they managed to screw them in FIFA 14 PC, during substitutions often the sky texture and the upper part of the tribunes are missing, the FUT webapp is more often broken than working and so on).

Sorry but I stand by what I said.

All in all FIFA 14 is a good game, but it's too open to exploits. And some of them (namely, the kick-off glitch) are there from previous versions.
That's why I say that EA listened more to the exploiters than to the legit players: because they didn't bother to fix a thing, even upon request.
Again, I'll repeat it, in this case these PLAYERS that exploit the game mechanics are to blame, not the game itself. Still, EA seem like they won't do anything to counter them.

So that's what I wanted to say explained.

KONAMI does have rights to using CL/EL and Copa Libertadores license, but it's not much really.

In EA hands you would have full blown UEFA CL/EL and Copa Libertadores experience (all clubs are licensed for starters and correct, real life groups).

KONAMI can only offer you as much as presentation and it's not that good one at that. I hear EA will get UCL/EL and Copa licenses in the end as PES sales are going down each year...

Well, EA doesn't even manage to provide correct kits and squads for their official World Cup game. Apart from that, they would probably release a $50 standalone UEFA Champions League game.

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

They once did and that didn't work out. As for WC Kits and squads those can be updated daily... So I see no problems here...

agree. Fifa develops its gameplay mainly since 7-8 years ago since they got all the licences and presentation in good hands. This game is the new-old PES for me in terms of diversity, immersion, gameplay and also its a quality game. (So sad PES became a poor presented game with shit gameplay..Konami fucked it up well in the last 8 years, and i cant see resurrecting the old style of PES. its like there are no programmers there and no people who know anything about football...just look at that they had to remade all their faces for Foxe. and EA got all the old faces but in better quality. total noobs at PES.). Im gonna upgrade my pc soon for this baby.

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Legends Exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox 360:

Ultimate Team Legends will be exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox 360, EA has confirmed.

The publisher has issued a statement confirming the news following box art for the title appearing online, which bore a sticker explaining certain features would only hit Microsoft platforms.

"We're not talking about FUT 15 just yet but yes, Legends will continue to be only on Xbox platforms," an EA Sports spokesperson confirmed.

Legends is set to add a number of legendary footballers to the FIFA Ultimate Team feature, with players included in FIFA 14 including the likes of Dennis Bergkamp, Ruud Gullit and Freddie Ljunberg. Each player came replete with unique stats and were randomly included in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Gold Packs when Xbox One launched at the tail-end of last year.

There's probably people in here who will say the player models of the real life one still look too gangly or have funny shoulders!

No, because those of the real life look like if they were from PES.

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

In that Second vídeo, it's sad how Messi was so easily outpaced and strengh from the defender was enough to take the ball away from him, it's like Messi doesn't have that ability to push the ball ball very close to His feet and, at the same time, away from the defenders legs with his amazing ball controll.

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

You didn't notice that it was Player vs Player and both are not very good? (constant sprinting, doing skill moves, lofted through balls zzz).

Even in FIFA 14 when you sprint, AI will be ruthless and punish you heavily. You can dribble with ball close to your feet fine, but it takes some skill and right timing. When done correctly it gives much more pleasure than beating defender with skill move.

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

Cant WAIT, not even waiting for pes, too many disappointments. Look at the goal at Bernabeu its amazing, its the same as real!!! Presentation is great.

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

Folks, please try Fifa ng on broadcast camera. All the new additions are going to make it look stunning.

I was a tele man up until around 4 months ago and I'm glad I changed. Feels like more time on the ball, better shielding, and some of the goal angles are amazing.

Enjoying it so much that I can't believe its almost time to upgrade again.

Going to be fantastic.

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

I loved the new Dynamic camera, but EA changed it again to that massively zoomed in piece of shat, even on NG version I hear.

My favorite camera that was. Now had to revert back to Tele/Tele Broadcast :(.

Not fun :(.

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

i dont understand why nobody seems to care about the teammates AI in soccer games...
your teammates in fifa always seems to move predictable way...
players like xavi, iniesta, davi silva, yaya toure, modric, messi, and many, many others doesn´t hold their positions on the field...
they float around the pitch and have much more freedom to move in real life then in soccer games, but it seems that nobody cares about that...
the developers and the players in general here in the forum never complain about this and for me is the most important aspect of the game to became the game unpredictable and much more realistic...
players keep their position to much in fifa games and the movement of the ball always happen in the same way...
nobody here care about that?

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

I liked the idea of the dynamic foot marking in turf and on screen look, and those screens look good, but does it look like a real game when they run like headless chickens or something out of a Benny Hill chase scene? No grass in the world or lighting hides that ;) In all the leaked footage all animations and overall game speed look like 2012/2013 & 2014. The day fifa overhaul and match that of PES speed and anims, is the day I would return.

I also noticed when asked about the grass effecting the ball it was swept over by the presenter from EA as "not wanted" or something, which was simply a side swipe to ignore that ball physics is still unrelated to anything else much as per normal.

I say if you start to make dynamic pitches then start effecting the ball, it doesnt have to be anything silly, but "something".

I just get a feeling that its a eye candy over "on the pitch behaviour and feel" and in my view this is where PES nails it and Fifa seems to shy away from.

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

Well, it's funny to say, but speaking of CG only version, I went back to FIFA 13 for a while.

As you can only feel changes in newer game when you play older one at same time... Must say, FIFA 13 is in some areas better than 14.

Crazy to say this, but fluidity is one thing I miss.

YouTube - FIFA 13 (PC) | Road to World Cup 2014 Patch | Argentina vs Iran | HD

Here is the vid of Argies vs Iran. Using RTWC 14 mod.

Plus somehow, manual was nailed on for me there, there was no constant AI pressure and other stuff. But NG FIFA is without such issues.

That's why I hope for FIFA 15 to deliver ;).

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

Players have no weight in Fifa 13 at all..That's why it's too fluid..Instant turns, instant reactions, sliding on the pithc etc..No thanks..Fifa 13 was the worst Fifa in the last gen..I hope we never see this kind of game again..

Re: Fifa 15: Any info yet?

Hmm, but now players like Messi get stuck on the field. Plus AI pressuring all the time doesn't help either.
