FIFA 10 360/PS3 Demo Feedback + Videos

For people complaining about cross field passes still being floaty, this seems pretty realistic to me:

Like I mentioned earlier on about being muscled off the ball and being instantly in control of the player to win the ball back (nice animation with Anelka too):

No that's skilled dribbling. People seem to get confused easily.

360 dribbling is done automatically when you're running. To test just run with the left stick facing left then just ease it round to the bottom slowly and you'll see that he runs in all the angles, not just the 8 like before.

i agree with that, and i evan feedback the italian editors about that, they told me he should have a REGULAR body, not LEAN like he looks on the game atm... so im guessing that players with STARHEADs dont get their body type setting from we, editors...i think its made by the artits that make their faces.

I don't see nets on the TV act like FK or PES ones. Honestly don't see what is wrong with FIFA ones? Seem OK to me but they ain't big deal.

Wonderful, the demo has locked up my 360 again :(

First time it was showing me an injury and just kept showing the grass after the player walked off but I could access the 360 guide.

This time I've chosen a slot to upload a replay and it's completely locked my 360 up, this time the guide wont come on :(
 
So I've just played 6 games, random teams each time so I've got an idea of most of them if not all.

There is no individuality at all between teams or players, any of you saying there is are just bullshitting.

It's far too easy on assisted and simply frustrating on manual.

The shooting doesn't feel any different apart from the placed shots which are actually worse than 09.

I hate the player models, and the way the run just looks silly, plus it looks and feels like they're floating on the pitch.

Plus this happened to me as well.

Well I'd go with the majority than those slating purely for the sake of it. Plus my opinion is the game is better than last years by a long way. Also, my opinion is the most important, as I'll be the one playing the game. So those who don't like the demo or are finding flaws which are putting you off playing the game, pop Batman back on until PES demo is released.

All IMO.

Played the demo and my views are same as yours. Players look to short and skinny. Gameplay is fun though. Nets, what do you want me to tell you...they suck!

I haven't been blown by the demo. It is an improvement on fifa09, but I have yet to see the HUGE improvement in the gameplay.

One thing..I managed to bur a DVD for this demo. I burned it on "slow" and 16x..but I still am having problems with it lagging at certain points..especially cutscenes and going to the menu. Not lagging on gameplay though. Anyone know how to fix this?

People who say they weren't blown away by the demo and haven't noticed a big improvement ... what big improvement were you looking for? Did you want them to change the engine completely?

And assuming the people who are saying this are ones that preferred PES 2009 to FIFA 09, how did you feel when for the last few years PES came out, nothing had changed since the previous version?

I'm not sure I understand PES fans who complained about there being not much difference between FIFA 08 and 09, and now 09 and 10, when PES has been stagnant for years and that's acceptable :CONF:

Typical.. got a quick blast of the demo yesterday before going out and came home today looking forward to a couple of games and my 360 is buggered.
 
I notice huge difference between chicago and the big teams. The way people move and find positions in barcelona is amazing, very realistic. Most realistic football game ever.
 
The cross field passes aren't floaty. They're perfect and look mesmerisingly real. I was shocked when i hit a drilled cross field ball with ashley cole and controlled it beautifully. It was a real moment in sports gaming for me. I honestly don't know what people want anymore.

The more I play this, the more i feel the final version (remember this is already 1month and a half old) will be the absolute nuts.

Last bastion left for EA is player individuality and those who have gotten to grips with skilled dribbling with messi, ribery, or xavi/iniesta will know that EA aren't too far off in their thinking on that.

I'm stil not finding this, tbh. Floaty floaty on manual, unfortunately.


Also, as cool as the behind the back fake out move is, I find it utterly pointless, as the CPU NEVER stands off you, so you can't be 'from standing' because they are instantly on you.

Solution is to remove your 360 HDD from its enclosure, connect to your PC and copy the Fifa demo directly onto the HDD, only solution, the demo's not really intended to be run from the DVD.

In the full game we will be able to play online against other humans.

Btw I agree that the crosses are not floaty. If anything I'd like to be able to choose FIFA09-style crosses for certain situations, like long balls etc.
 
This can be the best football game ever made... IF... they make the game slower.

Slow settings, all manual, still too fast. This is so frustrating cause I feel the game is there "underneath" the high speed. I just thinks that build-up play would be more rewarding with slower gameplay. Especially now that we have all the tools such as passing, shooting, dribbling this year.

Sounds stupid when this is my only complaint but to me the speed is a gamebreaker.
