ya know there are 3 game speeds...

what if player A has euro game speed, and player B has fifa game speed, how will that work?

will they be able to play eachother or only people with the same speed

anyone know

Good vid - shame the commentary is the same though!. Some of the animations are superb. Cant wait.:))

I think all ranked matches are played on "normal" speed, but unranked matches and offline matches can be set to any of the three speeds.

nope, i just wanted clarification as you are potentially going to miss alot of matches with people using different speeds etc

...so default speed is euro speed :( wonder what speed these guys are playing on,speed looks slower than euro speed to me?

I think its euro speed and its definetely to fast for me. thank god there will be 08 speed option

Well even if they guys playing in that video is really bad at the game, it still was a nice video. Looked like some players just ran pass defenders which could indicate that just holding down X could result in a missed standing tackle. Really nice if it punish people who can't defend properly.

Edit: Not sure if I think it is to fast. They seem to hold down the sprint button a lot and they are using assisted controls which also adds to the fast feeling. Hopefully players that sprint much will be affected by it more than in the last two games.

Great Vids

+ Referee's and Linesman on pitch. Even when there is a foul, theres no delay the ref is straight in and points to the area. Fluid!
+ Collision System - Looks Ace, definitely more realistic.
+ Player models are very much improved too.
+ Reaction times look bang on.

- Nets, but I can let that go.

that is bloody shit and pointless then. say if i player A wants to play in speed 1 but player B wants to play in speed 2. thats pretty shit. its like forcing the camera mode to match both players!! redicolous. why cant i play euro speed and Tim plays hsi beloved slow ass fifa 08 speed?

Because it would also mess up the timer and the actions of the game. The fast player might have 4 shots on goal in a minute, where as a slow person would have 1 or 2.

i am going to master euro and fifa speeds and rape you all anyway..

suppose it gives you two games in one to master...

it is possible to get more out of the game that way i suppose

God, I f*cking hate people who skip the replays. Are you hyped up on coke or something, or do you just don't care about inspecting the movements, animations etc from several angles and viewpoints?

Pet peeve of mine, sorry. I guess I am a replay addict (my friends complain sometimes), but how are you gonna see the small details or properly judge how well the animations are performed etc?



Overall, game looks absolutely ace. Cech in the 2nd vid is awesome, no more Euro08 supersaves it seems. Shots look ace, jostling and standing tackles look ace. Looks like it is going to be a dream shooting, scoring, defending and playing this game.
Keeper on Drogba's goal in 2nd vid is a bit dodgy (slow reaction time), but I will take too slow reactions over too fast any time of the day (+ they are reportedly still tweaking keeper performances so nothing set in stone).

I hope you can't skip other people's replays because its stupid and unsporting. PES does this well.
