The nets looked to me to have improved slightly but it takes away all that anticipation of scoring when you know its not going to look or feel right when it crosses the line.

I agree that there are far more important aspects to consider but the major part of Football is scoring, if thats not right then the game falls away quite a bit.

Its about reward and minimising this reward reduces the satisfaction of scoring and thats really what peeps are getting at.

not to mention that although those PES2008 nets have great animations, that kind of shape is barely used by any stadiums nowdays...most stadiums (all EPL and 90% of la liga for example) use the regular shap that fifa is using and WE series used in current gen istallements.
for me the net shape has the same importancy as the net animations, as nets like pes2008 has takes away a lot of the EPL feeling for instance. its seems u are aways playing in italy.

They're basically higher-quality versions of the Leipzig videos. Nothing new but nice to see everything close-up.

PC demo 'this week'/

So Friday then? They don't usally release at the weekend do they?

I know PC is current gen but I'm dying for a PC fix. 07 is pretty decent anyway, and 08 should improve on that immensley.

me too!
i did play 07 pc for over 2 months... and thats a very good thing. specially whe u think that i couldnt stand playing 2 games in previuos versions of fifa ....lol

yea graphicly it will be decent but In the EA forum they say the fluid movement mechanic wont be on the PC since that motion is next-gen so player will still eb moving roboticly on PC

True Jack though they were worth the download. With better detail I'm able too see Dinho's boots "sink" in the grass. AMAZING

Perhaps the word you're looking for is "ignore", I ignored all the good points he made about PES, as I ignored all the good points he made about Fifa, as I ignored all the bad points he made about both, seeing as most points are subjective and most points will be valid or not to each of us when we try the games it seems pretty pointless to focus on them.......

Wow I have to say from what I've seen Fifa 08 beats PES 2008 hands down. It looks like real footy.

If only I had a 360. Guess I'll have to stick with PES for another year. =(
