Pique injured training..3 weeks
he don't play european supercup...

busquets-mascherano
mascherano-abidal

posible CB's

They were after Thiago Silva this summer and will probably push for him next season.

What's this I hear about 4 La Liga teams unable to find shirt sponsers?

Why the hell doesn't Barcelona sign a quality backup CB?

because is fontas,abidal,pique,puyol
and mascherano & busquets..

is rare that pique, puyol and abidal are injured

Guardiola rulez.

 I know it sucks but they tried to include him back in the Ibra deal and Thiago said Barcelona contacted him this summer. He is a defender that is great with his feet. Looking at the caliber of players they bought as rotation players, no doubt he will be next on their list. Knowing us, we won't sell until he is past his peak, if he ever is. Don't worry. :D

Weird that Atletico will go on and spend 45M on one player and they are having a hard time finding a sponser. These are some big teams you mentioned. :CONFUSE:

Barcelona don't need a new CB , Mascherano is doing a good job in this position . I watched today's game and Mascherano was good .

haha don´t they?

they have no competition in league and europe, well at least so far they proved this fact :BYE:

:COAT:

Anyway, we beat our opponent 6-0 which means we are on top. By this time, with 37 games remaining, we just have to get two draws with them at least to win this sh*t. :BOP:

i forgot you are Madrid fan :P

well if you watched both matches you have to admit that Zaragoza defence was simply looking like amateurs.. but of course the season just started..Valencia look also sharp :)

Unfortunately I didn't watch today's Barça match but, according to the result, it was another, let's say, Barça match!

Yea, I gotta reckon, Zaragoza defense was pretty poor last sunday, I'm still trying to figure out where did Fernando Meira position himself, at a certain point he looked like and DMF while other he was playing as a CB (which is his natural position). I think they were trying to play with 3 CBs but somehow they were unable to do that. Some weird and messed up tactics by Marcelino, a coach I used to rate very high since his Recreativo times. :)

The Valencia game was the one I enjoyed the most to be honest (well, everyone prefers an equal match ). Valencia looked very strong during some moments, I guess they will make things harder when the Giants face them, the team just need to be more concentrated during the whole match and keep the pressure on. Amazing comeback in the last quarter by the way. :TU:

Stop exagerating...
I saw that match live and yes Barcelona were fantastic. Villareal are a good team but in the second half they seemed a sunday league team. I was impressed by Motta and his combination with Messi, which led to Messi's (second?) goal. Fantastic, ball possession of 71% and this against Villareal... Was also impressed by the understanding between Fabregas and Messi.

And yet...it could have turned.

When leading 1-0 Valdes made a miraculous save. This could well have been the turning point of the match. Other "negative" points: Sanchez still has to get used to Barcelona's style of playing and the way Villa was ignored when he came in for Pedro (but by that time the match was decided a long time, so maybe i'm too harsh).

Conclusion: fantastic performance, but the prizes are dealt in May...will Barcelona have that form until the end of the season...it's only 3 points.

guardiola's barça won 2 champions league of 3....3 spanish league of 3..this year win 2 supercups..

and in firts match, without defender, he put masche busi abidal...and win 5-0 to villarreal, champions league's team...

it's only 3 points, but this is barça.

Nothing is going to change gerd. Barcelona and Real will keep trashing every opponent they face until they meet each other. This season they have a lesser chance of losing than last year. The gap is getting bigger by each of them spending at least 50mill every market. I don't know how other La Liga teams can take this. Some presidents are furious already.

Although i enjoyed watching Barcelona, beautifull football, it is sad for football that they outclass a fantastic club like Villareal. In recent history clubs like Valencia, Deportivo la Coruna and Atletico Madrid managed to win titles. That seems totally impossible today. That is bad for football...
A good start would be a more fair way of dividing the television money...other clubs can't compete because the majority of the television money goes to Barcelona and Real Madrid...
