FC Barcelona Thread

Bojan is simply not good enough. He lacks elemental qualities to play in a big club, and i doubt he will succeed at roma. But who knows, he maybe improves a lot... The agreement is good for roma because if they dont want them in 2 years, barcelona MUST pay 13m€ to roma to buy him back. I think its a good deal for both clubs... By now.
 
Hey Barca fans, would you be interested if I posted the 2008-2009 season highlights to youtube? I just found them in an old hard drive I thought I lost. This was a season to remember.

Of course! I still remember a lot of matches from that season, though in pure terms of quality, I think this last season was even better.

I ask you the same, be easy on us. The team has only been training for a week and a half and we're missing a lot of players. A stronger and faster Man United can destroy us now... Luckily it's only a friendly! Hope to see a great pre-season match!

I see Alex Ferguson still celebrating each goal with as much exuberance as 20 years ago... Does that make him insincere? Or really passionate about the game?

I never said what I say is the absolute fact or aything like that. I just make my opinion and that just bothers you. If you fear to see any different opinion and can't take them, don't ever enter in a discussion with me. Won't say "stop insulting me" this time cuz apparently you've no other way of arguing except this. Probably you think you'll get over your inferiority by insulting me this way but oh, I tell you, no use in this. I bet if one of you would be a mod here, I'd immediately get banned due to any opposite opinion towards Barça from me. :FISH:

I respect you as a person, but i have no respect for the way you judged a team by goal celebrations. I'm not even a fan of Barcelona, but you show a lack of respect that Barcelona does not deserve.

A couple of years ago i was asked to become a mod, but i declined because i'm well aware that i would be a very bad mod, so partly i have to agree with you. Bit in all honesty, i would never ban you for having another opinion. I would ban you for a lack of respect against other people, but as far as i know you've never done that.

Forums are about discussions and opinions. Opinions and discussions are made with arguments. I did not see enough arguments in your (biased?) opinion about Barcelona. That's why i said that it was no use to discuss with you... If this has hurt you: i apologize.

he's the hottest prospect for the European Football's future atm imo. even if those were only pre-season matches, he's shown amazing skills most of the time. warn me if I miss one.
 
definetly, the guy has realy talent, i watched him for Spain NT a bit.. but seems he will play more and more in first team of Barca..no wonder Real was sniffing around asking for him.. he can be a fantastic player for Barcelona in years to come..

but imo also other leagues have their great talents..Gotze from BVB is pretty amazing for his age..

thiago is for iniesta

cesc is expensive ..in this point i agree with you
 
Obviously Cesc is the less needed signing we could do for this season. But Pep is absolutely in love with him for the future, and wants him to play the Xavi role in the team, something that Thiago isn't up to. Thiago is a hell of a player to play in Iniesta's position, near the area.

Anyway Thiago is surprising me. Other than the goals, he has added a lot of teamwork and is doing a much better positional play with and without the ball. If he continues this progression, I will prefer him even over Iniesta!

Prefer Thiago over Don Andres at this time is impossible, what you said is real stupidity so better think twice till you write something.
 
huh...hello? key words is "If he continues this progression" he wouldn`t mind Thiago ahead of Andres . I fully agree too! Andres is world class but not known for shooting outside the box and Thiago looks very comfy shooting outside the box and looks only to improve. I watched Thiago before he was on the 1st team he was always going to be big player.
 
Okay true and all good points but yeah let's not get carried away now... Iniesta >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Thiago and that is unlikely to change any time soon.
 
Well yeah, no one mentioned Thiago can only do it for about 40 minutes maximum before he disappears from the game. He's young, but we can all agree he is quite talented.
